Yes!! I figured out today's clue, and even beat Wikipedia. I love these questions in particular, since I know about them so well.
1. SHERLOCK HOLMES
2. MURPHY'S LAW
3. WAR OF THE ROSES

I think the last part to be revealed would be... maybe Count Olaf's face if that was indeed him, or the rest of Violet Baudelaire.

Dude I just finished a book on Murphy's Law. Anywho, I'd like to see Sunny included in the cover but at this point it doesn't seem like there's room.. My guess is it's going to be the rest of Violet.

So, you didn't catch the reference to the littlest elf on the Nick.com website? I thought it was really obvious. Don't know how you could've missed that. The same thing happens to me with wikipedia. Instead, type A Series of Unfortunate Events into Wiki, and then scroll down to the bottom and click the TNN link.

Mr. MooCow So, you didn't catch the reference to the littlest elf on the Nick.com website? I thought it was really obvious. Don't know how you could've missed that. The same thing happens to me with wikipedia. Instead, type A Series of Unfortunate Events into Wiki, and then scroll down to the bottom and click the TNN link. i knew that it was nickelodeon movie, but it hadn't occured to me the littlest elf would be on their website (and i didn't see it, or search for it). Thank you n_n ohhhh...now it makes sense...the advertisements aren't loading for me. and i think whoever does wikipedia doesn't read enough into things. they think that the tryptic signifies someone will have an accident w/ an elevator, even though there is another clue later on that says that even though you cut one of the cords, the box doesn't go crashing to the ground. they read TOO MUCH significance into the book boarder art, trying to say that waves and snow gnats were a "significant" part in the book, so since this coming books' art is fire that fire will play a key role. I think this is wrong. Fire is just A PART of the book, as are waves and snow gnats

It was pretty simple to find the elf, at first I was confused, then I took a second look and found the link, I didn't bother to write down all the letters so I just wen't to the wikipedia. For some reason I really wan't to see the Littlest Elf included in the storys again. Link to wikipedia nameless novel: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Nameless_Novel

So.. what are the bets that the missing box is 2nd from the left, 2 from the bottom (under the top of the top hat) is Mr. Poe?
EDIT: (reffering to the cover of the book on TNN site)

It's either him, or Olaf. I think it's Olaf, cause it looks like brows poking out from under the hat.
