The child let his father hold him and some tears fell from his eyes. He didn't say anything more and fell silent as he normally was. He took in a deep breath and let out a sigh as if he was releaved to hear this information.

he kept hold him and smiled. he felt better now that he was able to get through to him. "i love you garreth. i'll always be here for you."

Garreth lifted up his small hand and latched it to his father's shirt, holding it tightly. He nodded at Smash's words and stayed where he was.

he pulled back and looked into his eyes. he wiped away his tears and smiled at him. "how about we got get ourselves some supper? your mother's probably wondering whats taking us so long.

He nodded and just kept ahold of Smash's shirt, not letting it go. He didn't want to let go just yet.

Garreth gave a smile and jumped on his back. He wrapped his arms around his neck and held on so he wouldn't slip.

he held up his legs and stood up straight. he walked with him to the house. raine was sitting at her table and her stomach was growling. she was starting to get impatent.

Mari was at the counter making a salad for herself when they walked in. She didn't really like lasagna, so she was making herself a chicken salad. "Finally. I thought I would have to reheat the food with how long you two were taking." She already had some served on a plate for Garreth and Smash to eat and the pan was in the middle of the table so if they were done, they could have some more. Cyan was somewhat unhappy that he had to wait and Mari sat at her seat, starting to eat her salad. "You kids can eat now." At that, Cyan dug in and Garreth jumped off Smash's back and sat in his seat next to his mother, giving her a hug before starting to eat. "Well, now. You're welcome." She smiled and thought he was hugging her out of thanks and not over the conversation he had with his father.

he sat down and started to eat his lasagna. he loved it and raine was already digging into it. it was also her favorite. "sorry about that but thanks for waiting for us."

The toy boys were enjoying their meal, as well, but Cyan didn't really have a taste for it like the others. He looked over at what Mari was eating and looked up at her. Mari gave a laugh. "You don't really like lasagna, do you?" She got up and walked over to make him a small chicken salad like she was eating. She put the plate down infront of him and put the plate of lasagna that he wasn't going to eat infront of Smash. "Here you go, hunni. You can eat what mommy is." She sat down and Cyan was already eating the chicken. He was at the age where he didn't want to eat veggies, but Mari was going to make him.

he finished his meal along with raine and they rubbed their bellies. raine had a smile on her face and was very happy. "that was really good. thanks mommy."

Garreth was done with his dinner and gave a small smile to her as if saying thanks. "You're all welcome." Cyan had eating the chicken, but was playing with the rest of the salad. Mari looked over at him and poked his side in a tickling manner. "Eat the veggies. It's part of the salad." He stuck his tongue out and took some bites of the lettuce. Mari had finished her salad and was just sitting there, making sure he would eat.

raine had finished and she felt like playing her game some more so she got up and left the table, looking for it. smash stayed at the table though and enjoyed being with his family

Garreth had gotten up and left the table to play a bit in the yard. The only people at the table now were Mari, Smash, and Cyan. Cyan looked down at the plate and then looked up at Mari. "Mommy, I'm full." Mari let out a sigh and just gave him a small smile. "You're only saying that because you don't want to eat the veggies." Cyan gave a small glare. "Nuh uh." Mari gave a small sigh and held up her hand, showing her palm and her fingers outstretched. "Five more bites. And they have to be big ones." Cyan gave a whine and looked down at his plate.
