"We met in pre-school along with our other friends Edward, Chris, and Je- thats how we met. We played together in class...thats all." said Lupin. "In elementary school we got really close when he found out what I was hideing."

"Wow," she said with a shocked expression. "You two have known each other a long time." I hope he gets back soon she thought as she resituated herself on the chair.

"Yes, we have. I'm going outside for some air." he said standing up and heading to the door on shakey legs.

"I think I might just take a nap here," she said as she moved to the couch where he had been. "Be careful."

"All right, rest niceley dear." He said leaveing. When he got outside he sat on the stone steps and watched the passers in interest.

Samantha curled up on the couch and shivered slightly. She knew that she wasn't going to sleep. She just wanted to be alone.

Lupin closed his eyes and rested his head on the brick wall used for a railing for the stairs. Alan was walking down the street at the momant with a dog ball in hand and flower in the other. He came up the stairs and rolled his eyes at his friend then sat next to him to wait till Lupin was ready to go in.

Samantha supressed a shudder as she distinctly remember the German shepherd lunging at her. She felt tears stinging in her eyes and she tried to blink them back.

Lupin opened his eyes and smiled, then he smacked Alan accross the face. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!?" he screamed loud enouph for the entire street to hear. "For upsetting a guest in my home! Apologise to Miss Samantha as soon as you see her!" yelled Lupin even though he sounded as soft spoken as ever.
Alan grumbled all the way up to the apartment and opened Lupins door with Lupin on his back. "Samantha?" said Alan.

Samantha shuddered slightly as she felt herself sobbing slightly. She heard the door open and she turned towards the couch. She tried to stop sobbing so it looked she was sleeping but it wasn't working.

Alan dropped Lupin who hit the ground hard and he rushed over to her, "Whats wrong?" he said and then got back up and helped the now pained Lupin into bed apologised and went back to Samantha. "I'm sorry about before...but...why are you crying?"he asked.

"It's nothing," she said trying to avoid the subject. She sat up now and hugged her knees. She tried to force herself to stop crying but it didn't work.

Alan sat on the couch next to her and pulled her into a hug. "Whats wrong Miss Samantha?" asked Lupin conserndly from the corner of the dark room, it was getting lateish.

She stopped crying when she felt herself being hugged. "I just feel bad that I didn't tell you," she said still avoiding the topic. She glanced at Lupin as if to say please just tell him what's wrong with me.
