Mr. Oyamada gaped at the thick, dark-red blood that dripped from Faust's fingertips. "N-nothing's wrong," he stammered. "I just think that I need some coffee."

"Oh... good... " Mr. Oyamada said. "Manta, I'll want to speak with you later, alone, if possible. Without Asakura's kind," he added, whispering nastily. Angrily, Faust resumed a life-like expression and glared at Mr.Oyamada, who promptly started to resemble a ghost a little more.

"Oh... hey, wait, we can talk?" Faust asked. Making eye contact with Manta's dad, he said, "Shame on you, for treating your son the way you do! Telling him he has to inherit a company? He's in medical school, on scholarship, and he's going to graduate top in his class, and all you can think about is how he isn't another version of you! Oh, and by the way, I'm the ghost of the thin man," he added. He winked at Lataru, wordlessly congratulating her on her own hilarious performance.
"I... really need some coffee," decided Mr. Oyamada.

"Look... son... I expect you home next weekend with your things. I don't approve of medical school... the Oyamada family can afford doctors, we don't need to become them."
"Maybe you should get a doctor, then," Manta said. "You're looking kind of pale."
"Paranoid schizophrenia," suggested Faust helpfully. "A disorder in which one's senses are continually bombarded with voices, disembodied or otherwise, which no one else is aware of... I suffered from it myself... when I was alive..." he made a motion to suggest hanging oneself, and Mr. Oyamada was seriously about to wig out. Totally.

"We'll discuss this in further detail at a later time... in court, perhaps. But Manta is my only son. He can't waltz off and be a doctor when I'm getting old and need an heir! I've spent my entire life building Oyamada Industries, and I'll be damned if it comes crashing down around my ears because my lazy son won't follow in my footsteps!"

"A woman? In charge of a company? Ha!" Mr. Oyamada exploded. "She'll be lucky if I can find a man to marry her!"
"This has about gone far enough..." Faust said angrily. "He's sounding more and more like my father-in-law..."

"Whatever you say, ma'am," Mr. Oyamada said sarcastically. "Come on, Manta, we're going home."
"No, he's not," Faust said.
"I'm not going to be ordered around by an invisible psychiatrist!" Mr. Oyamada shouted, before realizing his error.
