Here is more BS from the abortion or abstinence thread: Diavii No, it's another, "If you're too stupid to figure out how to use a condom or birth control pills, then you should be punished and have to deal with it". stare By the way, I am a woman... so, it's not a matter of punishing women. It's a matter of punishing idiots. Yeah, women cannot be for punishing other women, huh? rolleyes

Should they be punished for poor education?

gonk I just ran into someone in the Lifestyle Discussion forum who said she was against condoms because she believes if you have sex, you should be completely committed to any outcome of it.
So if I have sex, I should be committed to getting herpes?

So if I have sex, I should be committed to getting herpes? And AIDs. Of course, since you took the risk, this also means you shouldn't be given any medical treatment since you need to learn your lesson. Why is sex such a terrible thing? Sheesh!

Talon-chan Why is sex such a terrible thing? Sheesh! Because your body is something shameful that you should hide. And any form of pleasure that doesn't involve a deity must be satanic.

Phrynia Its quite pitiful how their attitudes towards a woman changes when it becomes clear to them that she doesnt regret her decision and has no desire for their pity and propaganda. At that point you somehow magically morph from helpless, innocent victim in need of guidance to stupid, evil baby killing slut in need of harassment and wrath of god. YES. I think I posted a quote like that a while back. One of them thought that the choicer they were arguing with had had an abortion. When she learned that her assumption was wrong, her attitude changed immediately. She said something like "Good, I like you a little bit more. I hate women who have had an abortion." Grip of Death That's what the pro-lifers want... for the women who do not regret their abortions, they want them to be silent and alone. That would make them politically powerless, and their voices unheard so that their own voice would sound more "true" than it actually is. Also, "post abortion syndrome" is completely made up, all it is is forced guilt as opposed to internal guilt. So, if a woman didn't regret her abortion, if she was vulnerable enough to succumb to pro-life bullying, they could get her to feel forced guilt and then the pro-lifers could have "proof" of the "reality" of "post abortion syndrome". And there's the dichotomy again: "angelic virgin" versus "evil whore". The former is treated in a patronizing way, the latter is overtly attacked. The thinking is extreme, there's no middle ground an aborting woman can be seen as. This. Especially the bolded bits! It is so wonderful to be in a forum where people "get it." Especially after all the ignorant crap you see out there.

The abstinence or abortion thread has some more gems: peanut95811 never kill, thats plain wrong they never got to live, imagine tht was you...selfish bitches I have yet to get a straight answer from any lifer why being selfish is a bad thing. Edit: The abstinence or abortion thread brings in the scum of the earth, I swear... 14kristine14 then who should be blamed? the guy who raped the girl? duh? he would not think of raping the girl if he did not found her 'sexy' (i dont know what is the right term to use) in his point of view.. if she dressed well and neat then she has a very little chance of getting raped. Yes, because dressing, "sexy" is consenting to any sex that you may receive for doing so. rolleyes

(I use fun in a very loose sense.)

I reported his posts to a mod, and suggested they contact his local authorities. I hope they did, and he was taken into questioning. Even if he was just trolling, it should be looked into. Better safe than sorry, right?

So if rape is the woman's fault, does that mean that victims of ***** were trying to be sexy as well? And, so, it is there fault?

20 Shades of Crazy So if rape is the woman's fault, does that mean that victims of ***** were trying to be sexy as well? And, so, it is there fault? Only if they're little girls. /True pro-life agenda: subjegation, oppression, and control of women.
