He gave the man a friendly smile and reached out to give Toan a firm handshake. "Well, shall we go to lunch and discuss the job?" he asked.

"Sure where will be going?" Toan then grabbed his cane and put his briefcase and waited for an answer.

Akira gladly handed her another one, she was happy to have a friend. She sipped some of her tea, finishing up the fish and the rice with one last bite. She ate all of the pickled vegetables, then drank all of the soup. she ate all of those, with small bites and sips. Akira then nibbled on a mochi, smiling just a bit.

"Well, I thought I'd leave that up to you." he said to Toan; he was trying to be nice, they needed more teachers at the school.

Shana grinned and happily took it, once again shoving the whole thing in her mouth and munching on it lightly. "Mmmm." she said, wishing that someone would make her good food like this for lunch everyday. Shana saw Akira smiling and a wide smile spread across her face, her tounge hanging out; she looked alot like an excited puppy.

Akira laughed a bit, she did look like and excited puppy. Then she started to cough a bit, sipping her tea, trying to calm her coughs.

Shana's smile quickly disappeared, leaving her sitting there tensly. As she watched Akira take a drink and calm her coughs a little, she relaxed some but not completely; her coughing always worried her.

Akira saw Shana watch her, "....I'm fine.....don't worry.......it happens all the time....." She said with a small reassuring smile. ".....I just can't do too many things alot....."

"Well I guess we can go to a Taco Bell I saw while driving here." he then laughed akwardly because thats really the only thing he could efford at the moment.

Shana tilted her head slightly as she listened to Akira, thinking what she said over a few times. She assumed it was from the fire, but Shana didn't want to bring that subject up. "Okay." she said before lightly resting her chin on the table to look up at Akira with her pretty pale-blue eyes, one of them partly covered up by her floppy hat.

Khyn's eyes narrowed slightly. God he's such a sarcastic s**t!she thought to herself. She had to admit that he was right though.
"Yeah... well, thank you for returning my card. Where... umm.. where'd you find it?"

"......I guess we should get going to class....." Akira said, packing up her bento box. ".....after school.....could you meet me by the front gate of the school.....?" She asked, as she stood up, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

Shana stood up with Akira, tilting her head a bit at the request. Then one of her friendly, doggish smiles spread across her face; someone wanted to do something with her after school, that never happened. "Okay!" she said, still grinning happily.

((i'm sorry i shouldn't have joined yet...i'm kinda in a busy season right now but it's almost over! lol))
Mallorie's eyes finally lit on someone staring at her amusedly and slurping up a Fruit Roll-up.
She felt kind of awkward...but she wasn't going to let anyone treat her like that.
"Mallorie...? Mallorie, come on, it's just food, you can buy another one..." her friend nervously remarked when she saw where she was looking.
Mallorie ignored her and approached the kid. "Ahem," she glared, "you owe me a fruit roll-up."

Horatio smiled and cocked an eyebrow.
-"I'm sorry... I don't know what you're talking about. But, perhaps we could discuss it after school over something to drink?"
His voice had become very smooth and melodic, and had a very convincing undertone in it. Horatio had learned to manipulate people well enough to make them hang on to every word that he said. Horatio quickly stopped time and began another pillage of food throughout the cafeteria, particularly targeting those who had Fruit Roll-Ups. He stashed a single Fruit Roll-UP in his pocket and stood in front of the girl again and resumed time. Horatio pulled out the Fruit Roll-Up from his pocket and began to eat it in front of her, showing faked evidence that he hadn't stolen from her.

Mallorie felt a bit disoriented. She could've sworn...but then what if she was wrong? she wouldn't want to look stupid or accuse anyone who hadn't done anything...
She wasn't quite sure what to do, so she went with a weak compromise. "Um...well, er, if you did steal it, you'd better give it back, you can't just steal people's food like that....but if you didn't okay....all right I'm leaving." She did so, feeling extremely idiotic.
"Mal, you're such a dork," Trisha laughed.
Mallorie smiled, but she couldn't help feeling suspicious, it was her nature. So she sent one last glare to the kid before turning back around.
"Great, that just wasted fifty cents," she grumbled sarcastically.
