Aubry got them all settled down, and started to walk upstairs.

Aubry went up to her study, and said the password "mother" (((i know, it is a stupid password))), and went in. all her things were in the exact place they had been, except for a letter on her desk. she went over, and opened it. it was from her mother, right before she died. it read:
dearest daughter,
i wanted to let you know, that i will love you all your life. but i wanted to warn you.... this house, where we have been for all of your life, is not safe. it contains something even more dangerous than Hailfire. if you ever defeat him, stay out of this house, i know this is hard for you, but you have got to trust me on this. may i wish you good luck, and good fortune.

Mom...
Aubry got up, and ran out of her office, and went into the training room, and got all the basic weapons that they might need, and raced back, telling everyone to get their things, and go to the cars.

Riane picked up the small backpack that was sitting next to her on the floor and slung it over her shoulder. "Where are we headed? Xantos' uncle's place?" she asked.

Aubry didn't answer. she was too engulfed in getting her stuff in the car. she was thinking of where to go. not anywhere fancy.
"we are going to a friend's house." she said. not looking at anybody. she got in her car, and waited for the people to get moving....

xantos was so hating the fact that he had to leave his car. but, he took the map and the lil book next to it, when no one was looking. and rolled it, into his old sword case. then joined the other in there vehicle.

Aubry reved up her car a few times, and then, with Xantos in her car, and Pablo and Riane in Pablo's car, she went out of the driveway, and started to drive towards an old friend's house, but not before she left a note on her grandmother's door.

Riane leant her head back on the headrest of the car. She looked ahead at the road, not paying attention to anything else.
