It sucks when the people you want to judge for you do not wish to judge, especially people who disliked GTB from the beginning. I had some good candidates, but so far, no luck. Looks like I'll need to get some friends in here.

I've got, for lack of a better terminology, ******** all to do tomorrow and the rest of my three week holiday, so I could judge a few matches I guess if you're short on help.
Unfortunately my parents have decided to step out for a while leaving me to watch my younger siblings by myself, I'll give you a hand when they stop venturing out for the entire day for days on end.

I understand people have lives, which is why I'm not pestering you guys. I'm still very close to maybe just having the tournament end here, split the prize between the remaining and just start anew.

Thats what, 512k+ split between 12 (likely half after judging) people? Thats a good 40(or 80)K a person, which I'd be happy with, personally.
Yes, this assumes I am one person and not 5 characters. lololol.

That would be so wrong. lol
But yeah, we all agree that things aren't so set up as it was when this tournament started. But the only way we can have it end is if something suddenly stopped it, like a surprise terrorist attack on the stadium. Would that be a good excuse to end the tournament?

But yeah, we all agree that things aren't so set up as it was when this tournament started. But the only way we can have it end is if something suddenly stopped it, like a surprise terrorist attack on the stadium. Would that be a good excuse to end the tournament? "Oh noez! Pirate Ninja Aliens from far off lands outside of our planet but still familiar to us have invaded the tournament walls for no apparent reason but obviously there must be something here to use for world domination!....You...believe....us....right?" Lol sorry I could not resist. xp

Uh, a terrorist attack would get owned, probably by Deity alone. XDDD I mean seriously, A terrorist group would have to be insanely overpowered, insanely well prepared, large in number, or some combination thereof to get the drop on the tournament goers and get them to stop. Seriously, Ki user of megapwn and a Time Lord, both of whom are good natured, and you want to plop down some terrorists?
Your best bet would be grabbing Yawgie and Daphne in order to drop Phyrexia on us. XD

XDDD I mean seriously, A terrorist group would have to be insanely overpowered, insanely well prepared, large in number, or some combination thereof to get the drop on the tournament goers and get them to stop. XD Or you can pull the "Jedi sense something afoot" concept and just make some sort of ominous plight that might force the disbanding of the tournament for a time...or Ice cream...free ice cream outside and everyone rushed out of the rings at exactly the same time to be DQed at exactly the same time making it like a 15 way tie. Not likely...but I am pretty sure of the *hits calculator* .0000000213 chance of happening....well 3 repeating of course."

I'm going to ask your advice. If you have friends & a cousin whom apparently can't stop staying at your home because it's nearing the start of the school year and they apparently are assholes who have nothing better to do other than eat your food and play yer' 360 Elite, do you:

And eh, this tournament's officially dead now. It's not because it's 'bad', it's because no one gives a damn about it. =P And that's.. part of why it died to begin with, the interest faded from this tournament for most ages ago, and frequent 'owner' changes didn't help. I'm not affected by the decision any which way, of course, but that's my opinion on the matter.
Sad to see GTB go from what it was initially to a pile of ashes. But if terrorists.. did attack.. [Rubs his chin.] I could counter it with White House Gundam.
.. That'd be badass, actually.

Yeah, Phyrexia could do the job rather nicely. And since I'm part of it at least....but then that'll be already breaking an FFA rule, since I'll be attacking a guild I'm part of. Unless this doesn't leak into the FFA branch, then we could do that.
Or, as Viper suggested, he and his "three" friends can come in and go Armagaddeon on the place.
Or, do as Snow says and let the Sun finish the job.
