Toiyu smiled and looked at Venessa.
"Show her what to really cry about, since I can't do it. Dad will murder me if I'm mean this time..."
Matsuda smiled.
"I know Kato-sempaii, I'm part of that clan, remember?"
Hayu cooked a few more than flopped down on her butt.
"So... tired."
Rico caught the sandwitch then scratched his head.

Kenji crossed his arms. "Then lets make sure no one finds out!" He looked at Venessa and tossed some leaves on the water to make the koi swim away.
Venessa teared up and looked up at them pouting. "Nu scare the fish!" She tried to climb up the tree herself but couldn't.
Kato rolled his eyes and smiled. "Yeah but you don't have the apetite of the clan..." He stuffed the rest in his mouth fast, finishing them and relaxing finally with a full stomach. If he admitted he was getting chubby then Rico would make him train with him. He could stay buff and strong as long as he was under 21 but above ment he had to have a kid before he could stay the same.
Sani flopped back on the couch after finishing his and fell right back asleep tired.

Toiyu crossed his arms.
"Your such a baby Venessa! Grow up! You cry out of the littlest things!" He jumped down and walked right up to her. "You wanna know what things you should cry about? Try seeing your best friend skinned alive in front of you because she couldn't stand the light, try that, then you can cry. Crying over stupid things like some food you odnt like... thats so stupid."

Venessa slid down the tree and looked at him, clutching her stuffed lion tightly. Her eyes teared up cause he was calling her stupid and a crybaby. "Stop it you meanie! Y-Your just saying that cause your a crybaby too!" She started to cry and threw her stuffed lion at him, whacking him with it before curling up crying. She had a slight crush on him but he was always so mean!

Toiyu smiled a mocking grin.
"Me, a crybaby? Yeah right, I'm not aloud to cry, I never even cried as a baby, you can ask Alejandro that." He didn't even know how to cry, he just didn't. He was actually jealous of Venessa, she got to cry all she wanted and he couldn't cry at all. He crossed his arms, the stuffed animal bouncing off his chest, he was pretty fit for a little kid. He blew his hair out of his eyes, he needed a haircut, and sighed. He hated seeing people cry! He grumbled a bit and stomped away, going in to the caves that he had found a year ago to train. "Come on Kenji..."

Venessa kept crying, just hating him more. "Then go be your stupid emotionless self some place else!" She ran inside with her stuffed lion and clung to Matsuda crying. Matsuda was in the darkness while Venessa and Sani wern't, they were in the light but Sani hid his and Venessa wasn't aloud out of the perimeter, meaning past the pond.
Kenji jumped down and nodded, following like a little puppy. "Okie...e-eh wait..." He hadn't come with him training before, atleast not in a cave. "W-We're not going in there are we...?" He had terrified of bats and bats were usually in caves.

Toiyu grumbled some more, ducking in to the cave.
"Whatever, don't come then." He disappeared in to the darkness and felt his way around before finding a torch and lightning it. He sat down and pulled his knees to his chest. Why couldn't he be his normal self! He was so much... better... when he could be himself. But the only people that would probably would ever know him for himself would be his parents and the only friend he had that was a girl.. and just happened to be Venessa's friend. He told her to swear to never tell anyone how he actually was.
Matsuda sighed and swooped up Venessa, kissing her forehead.
"Shhhh sweety." She bounced her a bit, stroking her hair. "Shh.. it's okay.."
A girl with white hair and blue eyes popped her head in.
"Venessa-chan? Are you alright?" She walked in and hooked her hands behind her back, leaning forward a bit. "Is Toiyu-kun being mean again?"

Kenji reached out his hand to try and say something and sighed, he hated caves but if Toiyu was with him maybe those bats would be scared of them! He followed after a few minutes and found where the light was and sat down infront of him. "H-Heh...not scared...not scared..." He gripped his pants lightly.
Venessa stopped crying and sniffled, her orange eyes were sparkly from the tears. "Y-Yeah! He called me a crybaby again a-and said I should be crying about having a f-friend skinned alive! He scared me mommy!" She clung tightly to Matsuda.

Toiyu closed his eyes, there was a stinging sensation at the back of his eyes, and that made him wish even harder that he could cry. He didn't even realize he was crying.
Matsuda put down Venessa and the other girl ran up to her, hugging her.
"Venessa-can can I tell you something?"

Kenji looked shocked, he had never seen Toiyu cry before! "Woah...you ok? Your crying dude..." He touched the tears on his cheek.
Venessa hugged her and nodded, wiping her eyes of tears. "O-Ok..." Sani handed her a cookie to chew on before he went out to go sleep somewhere outside.

Toiyu touched his cheeks and looked at te wetness on his fingertips when he pulled his hand back.
"No.. no I'm not okay.." He rubbed his eyes.
The girl pulled Venessa off to the side and bit her lip.
"Okay well, Toiyu-kun is actually REALLY nice, he's kind and funny.. but he's afraid to act his normal way around anyone he isn's close to. He's afraid of getting hurt, his.. his first friend that he acted normal to died, peeled off his own skin, when they tried to do an expiriment with the light because he couldn't take it. He's been so broken since, so I'm reallllyyyy sorry if he's extra mean to you, it means he actually does care about you, enough to try and keep you away from him so you wont get hurt.. he probably doesn't even realize it.."

Kenji frowned and dug in his pocket, taking out a napkin Hayu had given him when he was eating is sandwhich. "Here..."
Venessa sniffled and finally stopped crying, a bit shocked at what her friend was saying. "I don't want him to keep me away! I like him a bit..." She fiddled with her dress lace, Henna had made it for her. "You think he likes me...?" She blushed a bit, she actually loved how strong he acted all the time.

Toiyu blew is nose and quickly wiped the rest of the tears away. He looked at Kenji.
"No one hears about this, I don't cry!" He kept a serious face for a only a few moments before his face broke in to the mechivious, crooked grin of his.
The girl nodded and smiled.
"I know it!"

Kenji laughed before hearing bat sounds and clinging to Toiyu scared. "Ok! But can we get out of here?!" He was shaking scared.
Venessa smiled big and nodded. "I'll go tell him I like him too!" She ran out of the house and into the forest to look for him.

Toiyu laughed and helped Kenji out before stopping. His eyes got wide.
"Darkness patrol..." He zoomed off. "They come now? Shiiiiiizzzzz.. they're gonna find Matsuda and Venessa.. wait, crap Venessa!" He flash stepped forward, stopping right in front of Venessa as the darkness patrol saw her. He had his arms held out wide in a protective stance. The leader of the patrol turned to im.
"Move Toiyu.. you know just fine and wel-"
"No!" He glared at them, dropping his arms so that the daggers hidden in their sheathes in his sleaves slid down in between his fingers.
