You make it sound like you expected matches with an expiration date/time limit on them to be anything but.
Time limits prevent matches really progressing at all past trading a few easy blows, unless you have someone that really cocks up and ends up on the receiving end of a painful death two or three posts in, and even if they do last long enough to get good, they get cut short.

Hey, I asked and people really didn't say anything. Soooo, I'll put a poll up this time. If time limit extension wins, I'll reopen the matches. If not, we'll continue judging them.
