"Yes it's me, but I gave that picture to someone and it wasn't you." her tail stopped wagging and cirled up to the stool and took the picture, "Why do you ask that? It wasn't your business if it was me." "I actually got this picture from someone a dear friend of mine. He told me who this picture was of and I wanted to know if I was right in my assumptions." Sapphire says coming around teh bar to take her seat and continue her dinner. "My friend gave it to me, because he said I reminded him of you. Largely because I looked like you." Sapphire points to the picture again.

She stretched her hand until the photo was next to sapphire and looked at the pictura and at her, "We do look a lot like each other, but I'm a bit older than you. Was this friend Elder? Why would he give my picture away like that?"

Kaen walked over to Sapphire. "May I see the picture?" she asked quietly, holding her hand out. She had a pretty good idea where the picture had come from; she knew of only one person who treasured pictures enough to have a stash of them, multiples even.

Why would he give my picture away like that?" "No, I didn't get it from Elder. I've met him once or twice, but I've never really talked to him." Sapphire says smiling. "I do not feel it is my place to tell you, but maybe Kaen can." Sapphire says looking to her friend for help.

Tomo walked downstairs in his jammies, scratching one ear. "Hey, everybody." he greeted, stretching once he reached the bottom.

Kaen glared at Sapphire and took a deep breath. "I...don't really know how to explain this, but this is how I understand it from what Elder's told me. Your son, Darrien, didn't die; Elder took him with him to the Light Realm to keep him safe," the kitsune said slowly, her tail swishing nervously. "Because of the light realm, he aged quickly after he was turned into an angel. He came down here to Gaia and lived here, in this very inn. He's the one that gave Sapphire the picture, I'm guessing."

Receiving no response, Tomo shrugged and walked towards the fridge to get himself a glass of iced tea from the brew he'd made the night before. "Anyone need anything?"

Her eyes immediately filled with tear. She looked at Tomo and raised her hand halfway, "Y-yes, a large bottle of vodka and some paper tissue." she cleaned the tears with the back of her hand, "You're telling me my little boy never died? Where is he?!" she started sobbing and lowered her head.
