CartoonKid Unknown Variable I haven't seen Aiko often at all lately. She's popped in for a little bit every so often, but not much to hold a conversation with her. sad

Hiya people whee 'twas my mum's birthday, so we went off and ate chinese (yummy!) and then ice-cream...
Fact is I've just discovered a cool RP site, so yesterday I played that most of time. Anyway if you say my name, most of the time I'm here lurking ninja

Pinkee: I used the iron-fortified Similac. A supply of non-dairy formula is also good to keep on hand for when baby has diarrhea and you need to put her off milk for a while. Jonathan LOATHED Pediasure and would only take occassional sips of juice, so we just had to make do with formula and water whenever he was experiencing intestinal unhappiness. ^^;
(Whited out in case breast milk is not something some people want to read about.) --> *cheek rubs her Medela double pump in its stylish leather carry-case* I guess it just depends on how your body is. I seemed to be able to store more than enough, so after the first week we were never short of milk for Jonathan even if I skipped (or spilled, demmit) a pumping here and there. ^^ Watch out for mastitis (I thought only COWS got this until I had Jonathan gonk ) and clots. All I can say is breastfeed as often as you can. ^^; The pump can never match Baby for efficiency.
Aiko: Anathema Device started it, I think. *lol* Some of the Helpers are going Pom for a while to mimic Anlina S. ^^

Wow Alex, you do look scary ninja (wanted to get a zorro mask myself, but I'm too sleepy now)
I like Pom, but it's not something I'd like to wear all the time... makes ninja band useless, and it's probably my favourite item. I might just get a mule with Pom style, though... *ponders*

May I just say... I think it is very, very sad that so many people think breastfeeding is weird or creepy in some way. That's all I'll say on that issue, though. sad

I don't believe in total Naziness about it, like getting down on people who don't or can't, or just flaunting it in the middle of a grocery store or whatever -- I just think it's sad that so many babies don't get the benefit of it because so many mommies have been conditioned to think it's somehow wrong.

From what I''ve been taught, breast milk is more healthy than any powdered formula or anything, but I just don''t like the thought of my mouth being anywhere NEAR there on my mother. XD
I have my body parts, she has hers. Let''s keep ''em seperate. Those nine months were long enough for being connected to each other. XD
