I'm writing a supplement for tabletop gaming that's focused around randomly generating items. ^^ This particular section is for creating "intelligent" items that, one way or another, have minds of their own.

I... guess? o wo But yeah, the goal is to get diverse and interestingly unique items with only a few rolls. For example, let me generate a wand... *Rolls*
The wand has two uses, and must be manually recharged afterwards to use again. When activated, it creates and launches a one-foot sphere of stone. The wand is made of silver and decorated with some neat carvings.
...
And to add to that, I could hop over to the miscellaneous section and do things like its condition when found, its history, its name, whether or not it was involved in a highly embarrassing story at some point... things like that. XD Pretty fun, actually, since this rapidly lets me create things.

Yup. ^^ Tabletop things seem to be fairly popular on Kickstarter, too, so I'm considering seeing if I can actually get people to buy it if I can make it long enough...
