On a seemingly unrelated note, the brass has been noticing some strange readings on the surface of Rigel VII, and your crew's being deployed to look into it. I gotta warn you - this is a very dangerous mission, and it's likely that one of you won't make it back alive.

Say, McCoy, that form only counts if your dead, right? I mean, say you were... Oh, I don't know... horribly scarred, confined to a wheelchair and could only communicate through a series of beeps. Wouldn't get no overzealous sons-of-bitches trying to harvest your liver, would you?

I guess it doesn't matter. They don't make us Goldshirts sign any fancy waivers. Besides - how could such a horrible fate ever befall a respected Fleet Admiral such as myself?
