Sorry for not posting something randomly esk, been away all weekend. Well, not really but busy.
Saw Watchmen, and loved it, was close in following the book, saw my friends play irish music at a pub, then played D&D, where I was wrongfully denied my right to kill > sad
I wanted to kill the Goblin in my party, well most of us did, but only two of us (me and the cleric) where going to try to kill him, and we were denied! Seriously! There are too many righteous people in the party now. (Lot's of characters died, like 3 of our friends lost their first characters and had to make second ones, hopefully mine will last, I have big plans for him biggrin )

Never played D&D before, but I want to so badly (no one to play with crying )
biggrin I saw Watchmen this weekend as well, I've never read the book, but the movie was pretty awesome.... :3 (it makes me want to read it, since the books are usually ten times better than the movies and all that) smile

Saw Watchment. Men's p***s, guy-butts, barely any boobs, there's sex, superheroes, graphic violence, interesting plot twist.... yep.. this is MY kinda movie. *biiiiig grin*
I'm getting the ******** DVD when it's out.

That movie is by FAR one of the BEST movies I've ever seen. I loved it. I'm just REALLY glad I didn't read your comment before I saw the movie..would of been spoiled horrifically x_x;;

I'm getting my UM vol. 22 today!!! (squee!!!) I can't wait :3
I agree, Watchmen has been one the best movies I've seen in a really long time!!! ^_^
there needs to be more movies like that out there (as far as quality)

Buh, haven't posted here for a while. xD;
I was busy with the finals and I went home for the spring break after I was done with my final exams. Came back here to school and now I'm sick, coughing and hacking. D: Lovely way to start a new quarter.
I forgot there's a new UM this month. xD; I might just order it from amazon.com or eBay.

I don't really get this whole Watchmen craze, then again I wasn't really into the whole Batman thing when TDK came out either. sweatdrop I wasn't even aware that TDK was a sequel fff.
I may be able to get UM 22, with a postal order.. thing. Which I've never done before. surprised Yay!

I never read Watchmen. I think it's a Vertigo comic, right? XD;; They already raped Constantine so the fact there's so many good reviews about the Watchmen movie has me curious...
Got my volume 22 today! Wooo.

Watchmen was published by DC Comics, and is basically considered one of the best Graphic Novel Series of all time. The movie's been in development hell for years, hence the big buzz over the movie finally coming out. The reason why it's getting big reception now that it's out is because people are thrilled as to how closely they've followed the original material. Many were worried it'd get Hollywoooded like crazy (ala the upcoming Dragonball movie). From what I've heard, people who don't know the comic may be confused by it (hence why I haven't seen it), but the fans are loving it, and that's important. Dude.. I totally didn't have ANY PROBLEM following the movie, and I've NEVER read the comic. I loved it!!
And for those of you who are willing to be soo critical of something before you EVER give it a chance, then shame on you. At least don't hate it until you give it a chance. The Watchmen is NOTHING like the Dark Knight, which I found to be one of the most epic movies I've ever seen as well minus Batman's hilarious voice.. pfftt... All I'm saying is give it a damn chance before you bash and hate on it. A friend of mine who's READ the actual comic book told me they almost quoted it word for word, it's worth going to see. Completely WORTH IT.

I know, it really is word per word, I am re-reading the book again before I go see it again in theatres, and I was shocked how pretty exact it is with the words. I think what shocked me the most is they actually had Dr. Manhattan running around naked smile from the previous it looked like they just made that area glow and blurry, but when I was actually watching the movie, it was like, nope, that is definitely not blurry smile

You know.. I kept looking at the screen like 'Dude.. is he SERIOUSLY NAKED?' cause you know in the Fantastic Four Movie with the Silver Surfer, he was naked too, but had no man parts. I myself, was seriously disappointed. So naturally I was like 'There's no WAY he's really naked' and I kept finding myself staring and staring and staring..then.. I was like 'HOT DAMN HE'S REALLY NAKED!! OMFG!!!!' and then my sis, myself, and our friend Lynn could NOT take our eyes off his package..wow..what a seriously hot hot hot man he was xD

confused To me its just another movie. And I haven't been interested in films in years. It took me well over a year to watch the Transformers movie, and that was something I actually wanted to watch too. sweatdrop So maybe I'll watch it, maybe I won't, idk.
On my zOMG account I got invivted to a clan called "zOMG Elite" surprised *flails excitedly* I wanted to try and join that for a while, but I was afraid they would reject me. sweatdrop But now they invited me first. surprised *happy dance*
