She watched him place his weapons on the ground, noting the gauntlets he wore also.
She smiled a little. "I can't say why i did that, I shouldnt be so trusting, it has always failed me in the past, but often i just can't help myself" She looked at the ground for a moment before looking at him once more.
"Eeowynn" she spoke softly. "And your name sir if i may ask?"
"New York can be a dangerous place at times, little less for ones such as we, there is a hideout for our kind not far from here, where you may find company if that is what you crave, but i prefer to visit only socially, and keep house at the lucerne."

--Adele had since left her perch on the statue, continuing her walk through the park. Hunger tingled in her limbs. Not now, she thought, I won't be bothered right now. She never did like to be interrupted by hunger, so she'd put it off as long as she could until it set in as pain. As she walked, her boots clicked on the ground, producing a rythmic beat that she mildly took pleasure in hearing. As she turned the corner she came upon a man and a woman talking...several weapons strewn on the ground at their feet. Instictively she shrunk back, shrouded in the shadows of a tree. This presented a fine opportunity for Adele to get a feel for what these...New Yorkers were like. Nothing beats observation.--

He listened to her words closely before letting his gaze turn down to the ground before him. His eyes closed slightly before he took in a small gasp of the air around him. He opened his eyes again now and looked up to her.
"Being so trusting will lead to your death one day... you will see." He said this softly before crossing his arms over his chest.
"My name you ask, I do not remember it myself. But for many years I was called Raven by those that helped me so I guess that you may call me that." He said quietly. "If you don't mind."
"He looked from her now to the city around them, the sounds of cars could be heard all around as well as the sound of people yelling at a distance. He just looked off at one of the buildings before letting his eyes close slowly.
He softly begins to whisper, but loud enough for her to hear. "New York is a dangerous place, but a beautiful one it is... if your eyes look at the right place. I came here for the beauty, but found nothing but that of the ugly ways of life. I have no home and I frequently find myself sleeping under bridges or on top of an alleyway siding. I can barely see the beauty of the city now because of this life but I still struggle to see it... never loose the hope that beauty can be found in anything, or your heart grows cold."
As he finished these words he opened his eyes slowly to look over the buildings again, remaining quiet now to hear her reply.

(( eek i don't want to be killed for being naive))
Frowning at first that her naivety could be her downfall, she rubbed her right temple with her right hand. As he contiued to speak she tilted her head forewards, listening to his every word. He spoke of such beauty and wonder that she had never encountered since she breathed her last, and was suddenly filled with an overwhelming desire to see somthing as beautiful as he described.
"As far as beauty in this city" she replied, casting her gaze out towards the lake as she spoke. before turning to face Raven once more, "there is little i have seen so pretty as the sunset over this water, or the ravenous tides and currents that cast over the shores at the cliffe base"
She smiled a little as the serenity from her earlier meditations once again engulfed her.

He saw her frown, and yet saw her desire in his mention of the beauty. He saw this in her eyes and soon listened to her words closely. He looked from the buildings now back to her before smiling. "The beauty of the city is right before you. You just have to look." He said softly to her with a smile. "The sounds of the people as they laugh... the look of the lights as you look over the city from a roof top. The blinking signs of the walkways. Or as you said... the beauty of the park, its like life inside of death... the beauty it holds is great and can be seen by those that are willing to see it."
As he finished speaking this he found himself lowered to the ground now, leaning against the tree. His eyes closed as he leaned his head back to take in the smell of the park around them. He then opened his eyes and patted the place next to him as if asking her if she wished to sit as well.
"We rarely get to relax on nights like this, enjoy it while you can." He whispered.

Sighing wistfully at such romantisism, she sat on the ground where he had motioned, hugging her knees to her chest, and resting her chin on her knees. She closed her eyes and listened silently to the lapping of the water against the bridge supports and shores.

He smiled now as he saw her sat down beside him. He was happy that she trusted him enough to do this, trust was one thing he hadn't seen in a long time. He sighed softly as he closed his own eyes, listening to all around him from the smallest breeze, to the loudest horn in the city.
"This city is truly a wonderful place to those that look for its beauty..." he said softly to her before opening his eyes to look over at her with a small smile. "But peace like this doesn't come to our kind often. I myself only see nights like this once in a century." He frowned now before leaning slightly over, resting against her slightly.
He looked now over the water as he watched each ripple press over the water as the bugs around went down to drink. Each wave passing the pond as dew from the hanging willow tree fell softly down. He smiled at the beauty of this as the moonlight rolled over the water. He thanked the maker that the moon wasn't full but did this under his breath softly.

Feeling him lean against her she leant her head against him, smiling contentedly. It was nice to find someone of her own kind whom she felt she could trust. The first she had encountered who had reciprocated hers.
She breathed the fresh air in deeply, enjoying the fresh scent of dew upon the leaves. "A beauty i intend to enjoy as much as possible, at every opportunity, whilst it is still here to enjoy" she replied quietly.

He turned his head slightly to look towards her before resting his head back against hers. He then pulled his leg farthest from her to his chest, resting his elbow upon it as his gauntlet's rattled slightly. He was trying to not cut her with the blades on them as his other arm went around her slightly.
"It has been many centuries since I let someone get this close to me... For some reason I trust you where I trust no other." He said this softly before closing his eyes. "I hope my trust doesn't lead to my death... like it did when I was turned."

Feeling his arm move around her she smiled. She could sense his caution not to hurt her with his gauntlets and snuggled into his arm, thankful that her trust was returned. "I know what its like to be betrayed" she whispered, "and its not somthing im in tha habit of doing, i would hate to make someone else feel as i have"
Reaching her hand into a small concealed pocket she pulled a small piece of paper and a pencil. Scribbling on it for a minute she then handed it to him, saying "in case you ever need to find me"

He took the piece of paper from her and smiled. Soon folding it up and slipping it into his pocket. He then snuggled back up against her and whispered.
"I have the address already... looks like I skipped the need for your number." He chuckled to this comment before smiling to her. He moved his arm away before removing his trench coat. He soon placed it around her so the chill of the night wouldn't get to her. His body was well defined and could easily be seen though his male corset. He soon moved his arm back around her and spoke again.
"So tell me... what brought you out to this place... you know the vampire are not welcome here."

She snuggled up to the jacket when it was wrapped around her, feeling its warmth envelop her. Grinning at his comment.
"I came here to find a new life, my previous life was destroyed, and after travelling a while i figured id visit america, the land of promise and all that? That, and the pretty lights of times square! " She giggled ((being called to sing))

Myyth walked into the park slowly, keeping an eye out. She'd heard Mia might be here, but after the last time..........She had little intrest in being caught in another trap.
In her bag was a note she'd gotten gotten from another Lycan the night before. "I never even learned his name......I wonder why this note was so importent to him......" she thought as she looked about for Mia, the Lycan the note was for.

Mia stepped in the park slowly, looking around. She never even thought to visit here until recently. It seemed like a good place to go and be alone.
She stepped over to a tree that had a bench under it and took a seat.

Myyth saw some movement out of the corner of her eye. "A woman? Still in the city now......not likely. "
Myyth moved around the person, 'till she was downwind of her. "A lycan"she thought, "Mia perhaps?"
Staying in clear sight Myyth walked toward the female Lycan. She stopped perhaps a dozen feet away and called out to her "Are you Mia?" .
