After waiting for several moments Mag finally decided it was best just to stick to his plan without Linalee for the moment. They could meet up again before/if he decided to head back home for training. Mag left the Pokemon Center and headed to the relative location of where he remembered the gym being. There it was... but there was a wall and many shrubs surrounding the complex.
"Well that is lame. Is it supposed to be a challenge to even get inside this gym?" Mag lamented as he looked for a place to go through so he could scope out the competition.

Luckily for her, this time Larvitar was swift enough to dodge the uppercut that the Pikachu had sent her way. Now that Pikachu was off balance she took the chance and attempted to land a Bite upon her foe. Brock nodded in approval, it was a good thing he had Larvitar bred with a faster nature than most other ones.

Rei was on one hand but, because it was taught in martial arts previously, along with Kaji, it could keep its balance mute. Its back was towards Larvitar but, it had another set of eyes so to speak. "Rei, use tail whip on its fore-head! When that connects bring your foot down on its skull with an axe kick. Send it crashing into the ground!" he shouted quickly. With that his Pikachu nodded and attempted to whack it on the head to stun it and it would follow up with the pre-designated attacks.

Larvitar was already lunging and wouldn't be able to avoid the oncoming blows so she decided to try and make hers count as much as possible. Heck, maybe the Pikachu would flinch if it bit it's tail again. So aiming at the appendage that was once more being swung at her Larvitar bit down with a swift CHOMP!

As its tail came down, it landed right into Larvitars mouth. "Pika..." a disgruntled remark from Rei came Damn it... The strike landed but, she figured that she should try to fix this. She was a bit dazed but nevertheless she tucked into a ball which would flip the Larvitar that clamped onto her tail belly up on the ground. Because of her daziness, the attack would not be as affective but, it would get her point across and hopefully her tail released. "Face facts Brock, your Larvitar has nothing on Rei!" he chuckled as he gave the leader what was, in his opinion, good advice but, was it? Only time would tell the sought out truth of this battle.

"Well I'll give you that your Pikachu is quite the acrobat but I don't think that'll be enough to win. The best offense is a good defense and we've got plenty of that here." Brock said as Larvitar was forcefully pushed into the ground releasing the tail. But as she landed her front hands that were bracing her just above the ground sank in a little, another Rock Tomb was being issued to protect Larvitar from further attacks and hopefully clip the Pikachu too.

As the rock jutted out of the ground Rei was sent back, unable to dodge from her dreariness. When she finally came to, she saw Larvitar. Its back was on the ground but it had that bothersome Rock Tomb technique out. "Pika, Pikachu?" She said looking back at her master Any idea's Master Kaji? "Yea gather up some rock on your fists again and then.." The Pikachu nodded "Pika Pika." she said Gotcha' Chief. And with that, Rei gathered rock via magnetism and rushed towards her foe, crashing through the pillars and dispersing its rock. She would then attempt to grab at Larvitars elbows an fling her into the air.

The plan worked rather well for all the thought they had put into it but, there was one problem. Larvitar are notoriously heavy for their size. Their weight is much more than one would expect so despite the rather strong toss Larvitar was lifted at most half a foot, a height she could easily recover from with a safe landing.

Indeed it was a heavy toss but, they had foreseen its difficulty and Rei did a handspring into the air, kicking the foe once more sending her even higher yet, A pikachu's leg muscles being fairly strong, it kicked it a good distance but nothing extraordinary. As Rei hit the ground it would jump to its opponents hight just behind it in an attempt to fascin its body tight to ensure that the drop hurt badly.

It was one thing to be hit by a Rock Slide, but followed by a Thrash?! "Clefairy!" Jeremy yelled in a panic. It was too late. Larvitar's power surge proved way too much against the Clefairy. Even putting herself into her strongest defensive stance was useless as the Larvitar thrashed his claws unmercifully. Once her arms were knocked from their protective position, the final hit to her face sent her flying backwards, striking Jeremy in the chest, knocking him to the ground. As the dust settled, the crowd became silent. Jeremy's colleagues rushed over to help him up while Jeremy struggled to regain the air that had been knocked from his lungs. Even when he could breathe again, the pain wouldn't end as he saw his Clefairy lying motionless at his feet. Even with all of the trainers that Jeremy had faced, this had to have been the most ruthless. With his eyes closed in remorse, he returned his friend, a pang left in his heart from his shattered pride.

Heading back to the locker room's Dante put the coin's into his coin case. After unloading the mass amount that was in the bag's he had finally reached the door. Pushing it open he tossed the bag's into a nearby trash can before going over to the healing machine in the back and placing Bahamut's and Apollo's respective ball's on it. Pressing the button he waited for the ding before removing them from the healer. "All right Bahamut come on out." Dante said as let the small dragon pokemon out.
When she did come out she was covered in black soot and was looking a bit depressed. "Hey, cheer up Bahamut. There is no shame in losing. Beside's an explosion of that magnitude is enough to take out any pokemon, there is no reason to be ashamed." He said as he brought out the bucket of brushes and put them in the shower. "Now get in here and let me clean you up." He said motioning for her to follow him.
When Bahamut was all cleaned up he put her back into her pokeball and leaned against the locker's. He was still a long way from his goal and while this was good training for his pokemon he just wanted to get out of here and back to his journey to find the Legendary Pokemon. Larvitar continued to rampage about even as Crenu called him back into his pokeball. "Heh, done already? I'll admit, I had fun makin gyour pokemon faint. I hope it'll be this fun when I face the gym leader. But you did give me some trouble, and my pokemon need some rest before I can beat Whitney." He grinned, clipping the ball onto his belt and flicking his hair at the trainers, walking off towards the center. "I told you. I would never lose to a lowly trainer who hides in the shadow of a gym leader, riding her coat tail to greatness. Heh heh heh... AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" He laughed deeply the entire time as he walked, the cool air felt good against his face, the sting welcoming.

The Geodude quickly floated out of the hole and into the dimly lit rock tunnel. "Pikachu, Quick Attack!" Train said, and Pikachu blurred, slamming into the Geodude.
"Geo." Geodude said, in a way that sounded smug. It picked up the nearest rock, which was medium sized, and hurled it at Pikachu. Pikachu cried out in pain as the rock landed on it, but managed to push it off with it's feet.
"Pikachu, don't worry! We can beat 'im!" Train called to Pikachu, who nodded. "Alright then, Thunder Wave!" She said, and Pikachu sent a weak electric shock at the Geodude. But the attack bounced off harmlessly, not affecting the Geodude one bit.

((I'm just gonna fast-forward breakfast, unless Kasi or Maven has any objections...)) Keegan couldn't help but admire Maven's Ponyta as they walked, and it was quite obvious that she was a lot older than Mori, for she was big enough to ride on. He also couldn't help but admire her choices in Pokemon, as she seemed to share an adoration for fire Pokemon just as he did. He also really wanted to introduce the baby Ponyta to the elder one, but he decided to wait until they'd left Saffron and were heading south to Vermilion before he did. He figured they could make good time if he and Kasiya rode their bikes, and Maven rode on Phyra. He figured that Mori could tag along behind them for a while, because giving her young legs a workout would be rather good for her.
The trio found a place to eat, and a fulfilling, hearty breakfast ensued, and being the gentleman he was, Keegan paid their bill when it was time to leave. Feeling a bit better, even though he'd eaten not long before that, he stretched, and nodded to his companions, signaling that he was ready to move out.

Crenu entered the pokecenter and grinned, practically tossing his pokeballs onto the counter. "Heal 'em up Nurse Joy. Your boy friend or whatever put a few scratches on 'em before I destroyed his pokemon."
Nurse Joy, who was currently attending to some business under the counter, nearly jumped out of her skin when Crenu came in and made the sudden racket. She gasped as soon as she was able to make make sense of what he had just said. "J-Jeremy? What did you do to Jeremy!?"
Crenu started laughing loudly as he answered. A large grin crossed his face as his tongue slid out of his mouth. "Don't worry about him, I didn't do much. I just beat him that's all. When you see what condition his pokemon are in later, try not to scream. Heh heh ha ha ha!" He turned to walk away still grinning as he made his way over to a couch.
Nurse Joy was duty bound and so she took his pokemon into the back to have them taken care of. "I may not like the trainer, but I can never hold their pokemon accountable... Jeremy..."
