QuteFoxie SparklyButterfly Sunkit perked his ears up as Milkkit called his name. He got up from his little nap and stretched quickly. Bearkit was still sound asleep next to him. "Yeah, sure," he said warmly to Milkkit.

Milkkit's fur prickled with anticipation as the two kits walked out of hte entrance. Milkkit's tail was high in the air. "Where to first?" she mewed. Looking left and right she saw thousands of trees and bushes. She bent her head and sniffed the ground, the smell of many cats of Moonclan were present. "Let's go to the stream!" she mewed and bounded off, making sure Sunkit was following.

Sunkit bounded after Milkit into the undergrwoth. They made their way to the strong flowing stream. Sunkit umped on Milkit playfully and they play-wrestled along the water's edge.

Milkkit turned to pounce on Sunkit, but he sidestepped her at the last minute. Milkkit stumbled and landed at the waters edge. She immediatly lept up and turned around to see Sunkit's blurred form hurtling twords her. "Sunkit! Wai-!!" Sunkit pounced on Milkkit and she felt herself be propelled backwards into a swirling mass of cold liquid. Milkkit's limbs froze with fear as she was pulled underneath the current.

Sunkit looked into the stream where Milkitkit has just fallen, his eyes wide with fear. Milkit was kicking her legs trying to get her head up over the waves to breathe. Sunkit looked around frantically to see if there was anything he could do to help his friend out of the water. He knew even if he could get to her he couldn't pull her out of the water. Sunkit knew he had to go back to camp and get help. "I'll go get some help!" Sunkit called to the struggling Milkit in the water and raced off towards the camp.

Milkkit's head bobbed above the water momentairly and she sucked in a huge breath. AS her body was swept away she bumped into something hard. Milkkit cried out but was suckeed underwater again. She reappeared in front of a floating log which she grabbed with her claws to keep her afloat. Sunkit! Hurry! she thought desperatly.

Sunkit ran as fast as he could through the forest to the Moonclan camp. He rushed in through the entrance and looked around wildly for a cat to help. He spotted Milkit's mother, Rainfoot at the edge of the clearing. He raced up to her and managed to mew, "Milkit is in the stream! She needs help!"

Rainfoot's blood turned to ice. My kit is in trouble! She quickly mewed to Sunkit, "Where is she? Bring me to her fast!" Sunkit mewed, "This way" and the two cats raced out of camp. Out of the corner of Rainfoot's eye she saw SKystar at the entrance to Moonheart's den, looking at Rainfoot questioningly. Sunkit led rainfoot to the stream where Milkkit fell in. "She must've been swept away!" he mewed. Rainfoot turned without a word and raced down the stream's bank calling "Milkkit! Milkkit! It's Rainfoot! If you can hear me please call!"

Sunkit was short of breath after runing back and forth from the camp. Yet he still ran down the stream's edge. "Milkkit! Milkkit!" Suddenly Sunkit spotted Milkit a little farth down the stream holding onto a log for her life. "Rinfoot! She is over here!" He called to distressed queen.

Rainfoot heard Sunkit's call and turned abruptly around and raced the other way. She then spotted Milkkit's limp form clinging to a log and yowled, "Milkkit!" Rainfoot sent a silent prayer to Starclan, Please, please, please! Help my kit! Rainfoot immidiatly leaped into the swift stream in desperate attempt to save her kit. Her strong legs battled the current untill the log Milkkit was on floated to her. SHe grabbed Milkkit by the scruff of her neck and paddled twords the shore. As soon as Rainfoot's paws hit the ground she lay the limp body of her kit down and began licking her fur the wrong way to warm her up and expell any water from her system. Starclan help her! she prayed. In between licks she mewed to Sunkit, "Go back to camp and tell Moonheart what has happned. Quickly!"

Sunkit nodded his head in acknowledgement to Rainfoots' request and raced off again into the forest. Milkkits poor limp body laying of the water's edge kept appearing in his mind and he ran faster. Sunkit finally reached the camp and ran to Moonheart's den. "Moonheart! Milkkit has fallen in the stream and Rainfoot pulled her out. She needs you quickly!"

Silentstorm looked into the medican cat den. "She's not here." He mewed. "But i mit help I think i know a few of the herds that he mit need." He said uneasy.

"Okay, follow me!" Sunkit said quickly and he ran, once again, to the stream where Milkkit lay on the water's edge with Rainfoot.
