Kieiru remained asleep as Reigen slept. His head was turned away from her, but he slept through the night. By the next morning, he was still asleep when Reigen decided to get up.

Reigen woke up and smiled when she saw Kieiru. Then remembering where they were she gently and quietly got up from the bed, careful not to wake up Kieiru. She looked out the hospital window. It was a different view then before, but she could still see the park somewhat.

Kieiru shifted slightly and groaned. The pain medication had long worn off, and the after affects of the amputation were starting to set in. He gasped in pain, as his body arched forward, his mouth open as he continued to gasp in pain.

Startled Reigen turned around quickly she was worried so she went and got a nurse coming back with one the nurse went over to check on him.

His ankle throbbed in pain, as his hands clenched and re-clenched. Tears began to form in his eyes, as his heart rate began to climb. He wasnt awake, but the pain medication, so whatever hed been dreaming about had plummeted into a nightmare as the pain in his ankle started to climb.

Reigen looked on as the nurse continued to check on Kieiru. "Is he alright?" she asked.

The nurse looked at her and nodded. She looked at his robotic foot, and found that the area of where they had put it in was swelling slightly. She sighed and smiled at Reigen. "Its alright...thats a normal side effect...the swelling should go down tomorrow. Ill give him some pain medication...hell be fine..." She smiled as she removed the IV bag from its hook, taking the tube attached to Kieiru out of it and replacing it with a new one. Kieiru sighed as the pain started to subside a few moments later, relaxing as he lied comfortably against the pillows.

Reigen let out a sigh of relife as she spoke to the nurse. She was glad that there wasn't really anything to worry about. An as she noticed Kieiru getting more comfortable she smiled. Once the nurse finished with her business and left Reigen kissed Kieiru's forhead and pulled up a chair to sit next to him. She held his hand gently as she sat there watching over him as he slept.

Kieiru didnt move, as he continued to sleep in silence. It was going on ten, and he still wasnt awake. At ten, another nurse came in and switched his IV bag. She looked at him, then at Reigen, pointing at him. "Has he woken up at all today?"

Reigen looked at Kieiru then back at the nurse. "Um...no he hasn't, but I was just thinking he must just be really tired cause the night before we came here he didn't get much sleep. Why is that bad that he hasn't gotten up yet?" Now she looked a bit worried as she looked back at Kieiru.

The nurse started to look worried. "Well, the medication we gave him last night was only for a ten hour night...He was asleep almost all day yesterday..."

"I don't understand what are you tring to say exactly?" Reigen looked back at the nurse a bit confused yet still worried.

The nurse looked at her and sighed. "hes been asleep for much longer than the dosage of medication said to give to him. He might just be tired..." She looked down as Kieiru groaned and shifted in his sleep. "He should start to wake up soon..."

"Oh alright then...um he won't be in any pain when he wakes up will he?" Reigen looked at Kieiru as he groaned a bit and shifted. Se was no longer hold his hand and hadn't been since the nurse had come in.

"He wont be in pain Reigen-san...we just administered another pain medication so he shouldnt be in pain at all today...remember, he gets to go home today." She smiled as she turned and left the room, as Kieiru slowly opened his eyes.
