The young teenage girl, was sleeping silently against a large oak tree. Her name was Kiara, a spirited and bubbly girl. Kiara had long, blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and was always ready to protect her village. She loved it there and she would do anything to protect her home, her family, and her friends. She slowly woke up and then stretched, yawning softly. Kiara got up off the soft grass, and started towards her home, Konoha. She watched as birds flew in the sky, which was a beautiful shade of blue, painted with fluffy white clouds. A young boy, about the age of eleven ran up to her a smile plastered on his face, this was Kiara's younger brother Akira. Kiara smiled warmly, she loved her little brother, and would never let anything happen to him.

"Hello Akira." she greeted him.

"Kiara, come train with me!"

Kiara smiled, and knelt down to see eye to eye with him. "Sorry Akira, not right know. I have some work to do, but how about after dinner, okay?" Although she never let on to Akira, she worried about him. He was sick, and most had thought he would die by his fifth birthday, he was eleven know and growing stronger. Of course, any good sister would worry about their little brothers who had a tendency to get into trouble, of course.

Akira nodded, and turned to walk along the path with her. She sighed happily, she loved her life and hoped to see her brother one day, healthy and happy, along side her on missions. The two walked into the heart of the village, where they're home was. Akira ran off to his room probably to study, or train silently. Kiara on the other hand roamed the village streets, greeting the people she knew along the way, and stopped when she came to Hokage rock. She gazed up at it in awe, her eyes trailed from the First Hokage, to their present Hokage. She stayed there for awhile, wishing that time would freeze. Everything was jsut so perfect right know...

The sun shined brightly in the afternoon sky, scorching Kimi's skin with its rays. Kimi growled and attempted to glare at the evil yellow circle in the sky, only to be blinded. The girl let out another frustrated growl into the area as she turned to retreat in the shade of a nearby tree.
With a bored expression on her face, Kimi began to shine her kunai with a piece of white cloth from her pocket. For you see, it was the middle of summer, and there was nothing to do. She had no other choice but to stay outside, burning her skin like a fish being grilled on a stick. It would be possible for her to stay in her home, but her mother was there, and she did nothing but complain about unnecessary things... like Kimi's hygiene.
Kimi heaved a depressed sigh and dropped onto the dry, ugly grass of summer. She hated everything about the season. The mud was too dry to play in, and she got too sweaty if she started to train.
What a stupid concept. Seasons. She mentally growled in her head, proceeding to place her kunai back into her pocket.
Although, she pushed it in a bit too fast...
"G-GYAAHH!!"
All of a sudden, the birds fled from their trees, spreading their wings to soar high into the sky of that dreadful, hot, summer day.

Mayumi opened the sliding door of her house. Fresh green smells came to her nose and she looked down at the garden. A smile spread on her pale lips. In the far right corner was the one thing she'd planted. It was her first time she'd ever grown a plant before. It was a simple carrot. But she could tell that it would be ready to be picked soon.

Suddenly it was kicked right out of the ground and sent flying by a dirty little foot. It took her a moment, but something finally clicked in Mayumi's head. "Kyaaaah!" She screamed in shock.

A little boy looked up with innocent eyes. "Sorry lady, I was coming to get the ball," he held up a rubber blue orb, "when I tripped. Sorry!" He began to run off.

"You pest! I'm going to get you!" Mayumi screeched, running after him full speed, her long, dark green hair billowing behind her like a cape. Her orange eyes were flashing with rage.

Eventually she lost track of the boy, and, in defeat, went home without revenge. Her poor carrot was broken in half and filthy. It had landed right in a muddy puddle. Stiffling a cry Mayumi took it inside to throw it away. Some ninja she'd be, if she couldn't even protect a carrot.

Walking into his home after a long day of working on his father's field, the black haired teen moved his arm to the bronze knob of the door. He gripped it tightly and moved the knob, making the door open. The teen took a step on to the rug that laid at the base of the door and cleaned his shoes there since he didn't want to get his home dirty. After cleaning his shoes he walked inside the house and took off his shoes, placing them in a corner near the door ready to put them on the next day when he would head out to work. Axel then moved on to the kitchen, he walked toward the fridge where he found a note that was written by his mother. He grabbed the note and ripped it off the fridge and began to read it. ' How... Did she get the keys to my house...' He thought as he reed the note and scratched his head. In the note, a list of items was written, with his mother's signature, telling him to go to the store and buy those things. In the list there where very common items, such as milk, cereal and other things that are essential to his home. He sighed and turned toward the door, he placed his hand on the doorknob once more and he slid it open. He stepped out and shut the door behind him, and then walked toward his car. He started the engine, changed the gears into reverse, he hit the gas and the car backed up, he changed the gears once more, to drive this time and he rode off, toward the store in order to buy what his mother had asked him to in the note.

Forte took in a deep breath of the cold air. If anything was keeping him warm, it would be the willpower driving him to survive. He was currently sitting in a tub of Ice water. It was terribly cold. Every part of his body wanted to shiver, however the one thing that kept his body from giving way to shaking, was his focus. There was a trick to the game. A shivering body distributes heat, and in cold water, would cause the body to lose all of its heat in an attempt to warm itself. However if one can keep from shivering they are capable of keeping the heat inside their body around their vitals, allowing only their limbs to become progressively colder.

Forte had gotten quite a bit of practice as this was an action only taken in disciplinary response to a prank he had pulled earlier. He wasnt exactly a criminal, however he was far from a saint. This was a form of punishment he had been placed in hoping to convince him to take becoming a ninja more seriously. Up until this point he had seemed too relaxed. It wasnt the development of skills, or the learning of jutsus, but rather it was what he did with his new found power that the village chuunin were trying to correct. They didnt want him to abuse his physical capabilities. Afterall, those were the trademark signs of a ninja soon to turn evil.

Forte didnt understand that this was the case. He was simply a boy who took pleasure in delinquency. It was funny to him to use his skills to steal a bag of chips from the market from time to time; especially when he was broke. To him, he was just getting resources from where the grass was greener. Afterall, his home was barren. He had to make ends meet sometimes.

Then finally a pair of hands grabbed him from behind, before quickly jerking his numb body out of the water and tossing him towards the opposite side of the room. He didnt see the face of the man who did it as the room was quite dark, but he did hear them throw him his belongings and his clothes to put back on. Still not entirely functional from the cold he hit the ground hard, but in a quick smirk replied. Come on now..... Dont be so cold! he said with an injured chuckle. As the numbness faded, his body became sore from new blood flow and the few trace bruises from his recent impact. One day they would all respect him, but as of now it could be questioned as to weather he could respect anything. All he needed was to be met halfway, but nobody tried. And so his humor was fueled by the bitter taste of poverty still very well set in. But this was his chance to prove himself. Tomorrow he was graduating.

/*As it appears I simply post and then I'm validated, here is my role-playing sample, I will try to keep it short and sweet*/

The halls were quiet, a draft blew softly through the deserted corridor, a window rattled lightly, not that anyone would notice, for no one, no teacher, no student had gone to the academy today, for today was Saturday. Most students were with their family, playing with friends but Utemaro wasn't quite like other students. Not far from the Academy, in fact, just down the road and around the corner, past the old textile mill, through the small growth of trees and on a grassy knoll, Utemaro sat taking in the noon sun, under the shade of a large oak tree.

In his left hand was a book, small about A5 in size, hardback and blue in color, in his right hand a pen, simple in design and black in color. Touching pen to paper, he scribbled away at his next sentence before thinking thoughtfully about his character's next move. This was a hobby of his, writing, creating, thinking it was his style. Drawing he couldn't do, nor could he create sculptures or carve great images, no his ability lay in crafting words, he'd always had a gift with words, not that he'd ever completed a story. This story wasn't going to be finished either, but that wasn't the problem.

Utemaro had a problem socializing, he always had done, others tended to shun him or outright ignore him. They didn't hate or fear him, they just didn't know him and didn't want to know him. Perhaps that's why he spent so much time writing instead of going places that other children liked? Smiling and leaning back he looked up into the canopy of the tree. He couldn't really care less whether they wanted to be around him or not, after all, he was enjoying himself constructively while they likely whiled their time at the amusement arcade, gossiping or simply playing a friendly game of tag.

The blue haired shinobi stood before him, his blue and silver kimono sullied by his recent exercise, his blue hair neatly in place except for one strand. Daigoro looked closer as the boy no older than thirteen brought his gaze level with Daigoro's own. Daigoro slid his left foot back.

"S**t." He readied himself as the boyes eyes flashed wildly with lightening. Of all the crap to happen, 'he' has to go completely nuts and release 'that'. A moment later and the boy apparently vanished into thin. Driving his fist forwards the boy became suddenly visible again at the end of Daigoro's fist before flying off in the opposite direction.

"Just because you can access those abilities doesn't mean you can control them, brat." Bringing himself back to composure he slammed his left hand into the wall. Cracking it neatly, Daigoro started moving forwards to the heap of a boy that lay the otherside of the room. If he didn't insist on wearing his family robes he wouldn't get mistaken for a noble so often. Three times this month he'd been kidnapped, Daigoro swore he let them, "Get up so I can hit you again." No movement, "Fine." And he launched a kick into the boy's chest, "Doesn't particularly matter to me."

Eventually Daigoro exited the building with a thoroughly ticked off look on his face, behind him a no worse for wear blue haired boy also stepped out of the door way.

"Don't you have anything to say for yourself?" Daigoro crossed his arms.

"Sumimasen, Onii-san."

"Tch.." He didn't believe that in the slightest. They been doing this for weeks trying to reach their destination. Ever since they'd tried to leave this place before...they'd succeeded and made their name in the west, but then some rather pompous descendant decided to travel back in time and mess with them. So now, here they were, two hundred years later in the future trying to find some kind of damn normality.

Oh there were so many things wrong with them at the moment it was completely out of whack. It wasn't like they could get back either...not that they'd particularly want to.

"Oi..." Daigoro called back, he'd already started walking but apparently his little brother wasn't quite finished, "We're leaving. Remember?"

(that's the second half of my sample post if you don't mind. )

Here's my RP. I hope I pass! xd

Laying on on his soft bed in the dormitory, Kaito felt a slight breeze through the open window. In the distance he could hear chimes. They blended together into a melodious song and Kaito finally felt at peace for once in his life. Suddenly Yuuto, Kaito's roommate, obnoxiously busts into the room and begins to frantically search his belongs.

"So much for my peaceful moment" thought Kaito. "What are you looking for anyway?" he asks.

Yuuto looks at Kaito with a panicked expression and exclaims, "I can't find my tambourines!"

Kaito always hated those horrible instruments and was actually glad that they were lost. After a few minutes Yuuto shouts, "I found them! They were under my bed the whole time!" Yuuto begins loudly smashing the tambourines together creating one of the loudest and most obnoxious noises Kaito had ever heard.

Kaito quickly leaps from his bed, snatches the instruments from Yuuto and throws them out the third story window of the academy. Yuuto stares at Kaito in amazement of what just transpired but Kaito just laid back onto his bed and said, "Ahhh peace at last."
