Liam didn't want Lena to feel him tremble, but he couldn't stop it. He wanted to wrap his arms around her and never let her go, but for some reason, he couldn't move. All he could do was tremble, his eyes closed tightly as Lena embraced him.

Suru listened to the exchange, watchign with hollow eyes as he left, then turned on Lacuna with pain in his eyes, murmuring, softly,.
"Why are you so afraid? We love eachother, and we love you. And I know you love him as much as I do. Lacuna . . . Lucy . . . we can't do this alone. We need eachother, and you know it."
After a short pause, he bit into his lip and launched to his feet, out the door. It had started to rain and he spotted JAk against the wall. He ran to him, and dropped to his knees, hugging him close and kissing him hard on the mouth. Nothing gentle like before. This was hard, almost painful in it's force to try and make him stay, then pulled away, gripping his face tightly, shaking him, murmuring agaisnt his lips,
"Don't leave us. Don't go. You can't. You are my air, and she is my sun. One is useless and hollow without the other. I'll die."

Lena loosened her grip on him a bit and looked up into his eyes as she said "I don't really know what to say or do..... but I love you.... and I can't stand to see you like this...." Lena bit at her lip before continuing "I wish there was something I could say or do, to just make this all better....." she sighed and burried her face in his shoulder.

Liam kept his arms around himself as he continued to feel sick. He nuzzled his head to Lena as he tried his best not to burst into tears. I don't think there is anything that can be done... he admitted. It needs to just be worked out... he sighed, trembling again.

Lacuna stood up, much stronger now. She had made her decision, atleast.. for herself. It was either both of them together.. or no one at all.. She couldn't bare to deal with the issues it had all brought anymore. She had never seen people cry so much, it was something unheard of in her home. Atleast, what home she had as a child.. Lacuna sat down on a stool wiping the lasting tears away.

Jak cried, his tears mingling with the rain. He clung to Suru in desperation, his heart in agony.
"She wont have us....I tried to make her understand...but she thinks...its so tawdry...something to ashamed of...to love us both...I wont let you be left alone...I cant..."

He shook his head. H wanted to say they had to make her understand, make her see. But he new LAcuna. She wouldn't. He hugged, Jak, tightly, then slipped away, feeling something tear out of him and stay with Jak as he stood, and kissed him on the top of the head, murmuring, softly.
"Maybe someday you can make her understand, then."

Lacuna sat at the stool, laying her head down on the bar.
"...Maybe I should move back out of the bookstore", she said thinking to herself out loud.

e trie dto stay cold and collected, murmuring, softly, brushing wet hair out of his eyes and speaking through rain-drenched lips and words,
"There isn't any place for me here without you both . . . . and really . . ."
He frowned softly, a match lighting in the back of his mind, casting illumination out around. No, that couldn't happen. He had to think, get his mind clear first.
"Goodbye Jak. Canti and Phelia will kno where to find me in the city if things ever change."

Lena did her best to smile at Liam as she said "It will be.... I know it..." she placed her hand to his cheek and placed a small kiss on his other cheek.
