Kibo: Yeah. But I have to agree with Storm partly here. Her life has been nothing is not completely miserable. You just said you can't force optimism on a person. This girl, after all that she's been forced through, will almost definitely be a pessimist. It will take a long time, and a lot of work, before she'll be comfortable around strangers again. Do you think you are able to put in that kind of time? Or, perhaps a more important question. Will you be able to live with yourself if you fail?

Sunny's expression darkened as she looked up at him. "I've failed before" was all she said in a dead tone. "I've got more than enough time to try and get it right this time" she whispered as she checked the girl's temperature with the back of her hand.

Kibo takes her hand in his.
Kibo: In no way did I ever say I didn't believe you can't do it. I'm just worried that Storm will be working against you.
He turns, glaring at the Drow with some emotion, that was related to hate in the same way that an ocean was related to a glass of water.

"I'm aware of the numerous challenges ahead but I won't be daunted by any of them. This girl needs help and I intend to give it despite any hindrance" she said without looking at him.

Kibo's medusa-glare was broken by Sunny's words.
Kibo: And there's no one who I'd put my faith in more than you.

His response was Sunny biting her lip harshly as she devoted all her attention to the girl. "Her fever will break after this spike but it feels like it will be a dangerous one. I need cold water and more rags so I can try and lower her temperature" she said with disturbing calmness.

Kibo: Alright.
He gets up, walking out the door, but pausing by Storm.
Kibo: If you so much as harm a hair on her head, I will kill you. And this time, you won't come back.

Sunny dilligently watched over the girl doing her best to administer proper first aid. She whispered soft encouragement as well as thought silent prayers all to help the poor girl. "I don't even know your name... But I will make sure you get the chance to tell me" she said with conviction.

Kibo returns a few moments later with more rags, and three empty buckets. He taps the 5th marking on his arm, and they fill with water, each bucket containing several chunks of ice to cool them.
Kibo: Here. Rags and cold water. Anything else?

"Orange juice in case she wakes up feeling faint. My grandmother told me that the fluid from an orange is good for the blood. Mandarin oranges if possible. Oh! And some honeyed lemon slices in case her throat is sore" Sunny said as she began packing the near freezing rags around the girl.

Kibo: Alright.
He puts his right hand against the ground, the left pressing against the 5th marking. Two large trees sprout in the room, quickly coming to full bloom, then fruition. One sprouted oranges, the other lemons.

"She's cooling down!" Sunny almost cheered. "Pretty soon the fever will break and within a day she should be concious" she reported as she re-applied fresh wet rags.

Storm only grins to Kibo's threat.
"Kill me, dear lovie? And what makes you think you can make it stick this time?"

Kibo: Good...
He turns to Storm.
Kibo: Because the only thing that let you stick last time was my generosity and spite.

"There are better things to do than bicker!" Sunny snapped, all her concern centered around the girl. "Please, if you must fight do it at another time or at least take it outside" she said only to pout and look up at them both apologetically. "I'm sorry. I'm just sort of tense" she said.
