Welcome to America, Ookami. I live in Florida, and there are so many loopholes in Hurricane insurance, I'm sure it's confused quite a few lawyers trying to get claims. The whole Insurance industry's logic seems backwards. I'm not sure how it is over there...

In here, health insurance is obligued.
It's kept quite easy and understandable and not too expensive.
Ofcourse we don't need any earthquake- or hurrycane ensurance, we have none.
The biggest earthquake ever was caused by a big train coming by! xd
I heard Obama is going to make ensurances obligues and simpler or did the news here say something premature?

Hah, no one here can afford earthquake insurance... And as far as the health care goes~. Oh we should sooo not get into this.. Cali is screwed, practically all are benefits are s**t now. Did you know that they dont cover glasses over here? Or the exams? I wear glasses, have to wear them to be able to not run into people. Do you know how much glasses cost here? Try a pay check or two at a parttime job. All and all i cant pay for the glasses i need and my bills at the same time. And my parttime job made too much money to even get a basic office coverage too. I was only making 300 every two weeks!

Here, glasses aren't paid back either. They do cost lots of money, my both parents got them. It actually only cover some medication, doctor visits and hospitalisation costs.

x.X I'm someone who basically can't get health insurance come next year, and I'm required to get glasses to drive even though I get about two points of vision increase... which is required since the police around here can't decide If people are allowed to bicycle along the freeway given there's no alternate route from my home to town.
Earthquake insurance is a nightmare, last we checked it would cost us twice the price of that television per month..
About a third of a mile down the road, well down assuming you factor out the loop I have to go through to get onto the main road, is a tsunami warning sign now, so you can imagine what insurance who does not have government set limits can get away with.
Heh auto insurance is required around here too, I think me being registered to an old 93 Oldsmobile still costs us 700 a year.
Insurance more or less is gambling in this state, and some of it's required -.-
Heh my mother believed some trash news about a 6.3 happening sometime this week though x.x really find that stupid that she buys into it.
