Once seth has merc 'trapped', he doesn't advance anymore, "Merc, that came out wrong, that wasn't what I meant. I just mean... You don't have to worry about me ever having been with another guy, or whatever. You're the first guy I've ever kissed, dated... anything like that. And you're the ONLY one I want to, or would ever, to that sort of stuff with."

He steps back and leans against the wall so merc can get out of the alley if he wants to.

Merc walks up to Seth, feeling a little bit bad. "Seth..." he says gently, putting a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry. It's just, this is so new... and I've had guys tell me this sorta thing before... and then they broke my heart... I.. I don;t know..." he says, getting frusterated with his lack of words.
Diego stays a fair distance away from the alley, not wanting to disturb the two of them.

Merc tries not to feel too happy at the fct that Seth said they were dating and rests against the wall next to him. "Thisis new for both of us, and we both have emotional baggage we're bringing into this. I've always known about myself and never really had pressure on me to be straight, but Seth, I do know a little about wha's going on with you. I understand that you're confused and I'm sorry..." he says.
