Blonde hair fell loose from her bun and slapped her cheeks and her neck as she raced high up in the air. Three cold blistering winds stung her eyes and cheeks as she inched to the edge of her broom and reached out again.

Belle glared daggers. She missed, again. Why was she always like this during dire situations? She was quickly beginning to deduce that quidditch just wasn't for her. She didn't like the weight placed on her shoulders, being so heavily relied on by her teammates. She was starting to lose the snitch, too! If she didn't catch it this time, she was scared she'd lose it entirely and have to hunt it down all over again. This was it, she told herself, she had to catch it. She stretched her fingers and leaned forward....

Ronyo Storm - Slytherin
Seventh Year
Quidditch Pitch/ Match Ronyo pulled his broom out and away as he went back to work. He had made the hit he wanted with Remy, knowing it could distract Sam and also give the Gryffindor team a harder time at keeping up with the silver and green chasers. Now it was time to try and put an end to this if he could and make a better chance for Belle on her next pass at the snitch. The bludger he saw was high enough up that he could gain altitude and not have to worry about arcing his hit up to high. Ronyo came in hot and fast slamming the bludger with a side long hit and sending it up and away, streaking towards Sam once again. Life: 1, 2, 3 ______________________________________________________________

Dominic shook his head and groaned as he watched the snitch escape both seekers and then fly high into the sun, losing him to. He growled, but at least there was still a chance. He glanced around the field as he pinpointed his target. Whipping his bat through the air, he hoped to hear the sickening crack slam and then race toward Teyve.

Bloody hell! Belle cursed! She lurched, and missed, and nearly fell off her broom, and Sam and the snitch darted off. She slammed her fist against her broom before she took off after him, trying to find the snitch again. She could still have a chance, if it could lose her, it might lose him to. She could only hope as she searched again.

Ronyo Storm - Slytherin
Seventh Year
Quidditch Pitch/ Match The little cannon ball had jumped up to slam him in the leg and a crack could be heard from the impact. Ronyo would lose the ability to hold on during his tight turns with his legs, but he could still keep going. Even if he went down they had reserve players to jump in and take over in the beaters position. Ronyo had planned for even himself to be taken out of the game by either a rogue bludger or by a skilled beater. Slytherin had the numbers game on their side for all positions, even seeker. If Belle went down they had someone who could move in and take over. Ronyo growled and pushed on through gritted teeth and the storm thundering in his heart for the thrill of the game. It was the kind of excitement one got from a battle against a truly evenly matched opponent. The difference was that even if Ronyo could not finish the game, even if he was broken and laid fallen on the pitch the team would press on. They had trained and practiced for all the eventualities of this game and now they would see it through to the end. Ronyo came in hot on the bludger once again and swung with all his might sending it on to Sam. Life: 1, 2, 3 ______________________________________________________________

Wait a minute! There it was again! She saw the glimmer high up in the clouds and chased after it at once. This was her chance, she reassured herself, this was it! With Sam out of the way, she just needed to speed after it, close the distance, and snatch it up. Without him in the way, she wouldn't feel so stressed, she could pace herself and keep her composure. Just as all of those thoughts raced in her mind, she heard the cut through the wind and saw Sam on her trail again. Oh no, she groaned, not again. She shook the thought away, she needed to concentrate, after all.

Dominic growled under his breath. This was getting ridiculous. His muscles ached and his shoulder throbbed horribly. He could barely manage s breath as he struggled to guide his broom down wind where he could strike a bludger and sent it for Sam again, but the boy was being evasive, and Dominic had to sharpen his aim if he hoped to win a hit.

Belle was silent the entire game. She never parted her lips any more than to growl out in agitation or curse in contempt. She glanced sidelong torward Sam, but only for a moment, before hurrying down the field. The snitch climbed high in the air, circled around the pitch and she hurried. The wind tore through her as she chased after gold.
