Locke nodded and followed behind Vincent, he was glad things were going smoothly or at least it seemed smoothly. He looked at Vincent while making sure to stay close to him. He had to admit it was suspiciously quiet, it made him nervous. He sighed deciding maybe he was paranoid, after all it wasn't that big right.

Aeon looked at Moli again with a side eye. "I don't know, we can buy toys and things because we don't know the sex of the baby" she said. "Ohhhh I hope it's a girl" she said in excitement. "Wait did you say kids are evil? Then you'll be batteling evil for a while because I want three children" she told him with a smile. When he mentioned Roulin, she didn't know that Amara and Roulin had once been together. She looked at him. "Only if he promises not to tell Lucien" she said with a smile as she clasped Moli's arm.

Luca laughed again after listening to her rendition of her little vacation, it appeared Will had a trace of humanity but who knew how long or real it really was. He looked towards her when she mentioned taking a walk. He felt the slight red sign of embarrassment creep onto his face. "Go out? Together? Like on a date?" He asked with a small almost nervous laugh. He thought about the two of them on a date, the scenario played in his mind, the typical date with a walk, movie, dinner, a meeting afterwords leading to the conclusion of their night. He shook the idea from his mind instantly. What was he thinking? He was on a contract, a temporary one at that, he wasn't a full time member of the UNS. But he wasn't going to turn this moment down. He smiled and nodded lightly. "Yeah a walk sounds like fun, it will be nice to get out of all of the politics and try to just enjoy life a bit.....It's easier when someone's not pointing a loaded gun at your head." He said with a small sigh.

Kojiro remained focused as he followed her towards their destination. Kojiro's heart felt light, the sudden shock of the situation along with the progressing events, provided more than enough surprise to crate an adrenaline rush. Kojiro slowed down as they both came to a stop, he listened intently as she began to plan an attack on the intruders. Kojiro could not help but wonder if the Chirashi was a joke, but he would agree to help her regardless. Kojiro looked ahead onto the situation,"....Kill them?..." he repeated dimly, he thought for what seemed an eternity, but only lasted a slit second. Kojiro knew his priorities, he would have to dispose of them...as much as his heart pleaded to reconsider, Families and this new city was at stake, that was the situation at hand, he knew his duties. Kojiro looked ahead and suddenly three small knives appeared in his hand,"Understood..." he mumbled softly to his new teammate.

((TFP---Serena))

Serena smiled kindly at Kojiro before leading him towards the restaurant. “Show me what you can do Koji-Kun” She coaxed in a soft tone of voice before she vanished out of his sight. A few moments later, a disgruntled cry of pain erupted from the heart of the group that was about to attack the restaurant. Serena had successfully slaughtered one of the men with a bullet to the head. The others response was utter confusion…in fact some even began to point fingers…She was making them lose trust in each other. “So easily done..” The silver haired woman evaded knocking into people as she took aim once again with her newest weapon. This time she was aiming for the person who seemed to be a commander of some sort. Her finger tensed on the trigger before she squeezed it gently, releasing the powerful bullet. The bullet was designed to shatter once it had hit its target. It would leave the mans head in a right bloody mess. “Beautiful” Serena glanced towards Kojiro and awaited for him to make his move. From inside the once peaceful restaurant screams could be heard as a few of the armoured men entered and began shooting…. “You better make your move kid…”

((UNS---Daryle))

Daryle nodded his head once and smiled lightly “Of course you can be generous….” He muttered while staring at the chips that Will had recently pushed forwards. Daryle fiddled with a few of his own chips as he mentally counted them out. “Hmmm.” The Breezy Owl smirked and pushed forwards an equal amount of chips forwards. “I see your pile…and I raise you 100.” He glanced down at his cards and looked back up at Will with a confident smile before looking down at the 5 freshly turned cards. He had managed to pull off a straight with his current cards. Not a fantastic hand, but still it was better then messily pairs or high cards. “Ah, how sad. Not being needed at such a time.” A small laugh escaped Daryle’s lips as he continued to check his cards. “Hmmm, is it always like this for you? One of no rank…although, I suppose no one gathered here has a rank within the UNS anymore….” The blonde male placed his cards onto the table and awaited for Will to make his move. “I do not know how long I will be absent. I will try to make the stay as….logical as possible.” Daryle said while propping his head up with a hand. “Who knows, I might even bring you back a souvenir”

Bailey's pale cheeks tinged pink when Luca mentioned their time together being a date. She had never been on a date before, but she knew enough about them to know what they entailed. While they would most likely not go to movie and while she had asked him and not vice-versa like it was usually done in movies, it could still be considered some-what of a date. Still, she knew how most dates often ended and just the mere thought caused her to blush furiously. "Well I've never been on a date before, but I know what they consist of," she admitted hoping he would not be disgusted by the fact that she was very inexperienced when it came to matters of the opposite gender. The young Vector Owl was still glad that Luca had decided to accompany her. She turned and began to walk out of the UNS building. "Where do you want to eat?" she asked curiously. She would wait until they were sitting comfortably in order to engage him in conversation.

((UNS - Will))

Will grinned. Cerb was such a great shuffler it seemed Will's cards were just random. Besides the joker he had already placed down, he also had a blank card and a card that had instructions and origins on the deck....Well, what the heck. He might as well make a joke out of this round with any random cards he picked up. No one would expect it. The grey eyed devil glanced at the dog lying on the floor like a puppy...this was one of the rare times, Daryle was more serious, if that was the right word than Cerberus. He chuckled. "You raise me 100. Hmmm? I'll raise you another 50." He tossed some chips toward the "mountain," having them land perfectly on the top of the tower. "Need? Haha. Ranks don't matter to me, Daryle. It only matters if I decide to "need" them. I don't give a f**k about their needs, and well....you don't need to either." Will smirked as he looked at his cards and placed them face down. The words didn't have to be said. The Satan Owl didn't care about rank because he didn't care for rules and ...well.... the Satan Owl just couldn't be ranked with the rest of them. To the devil, every living creature was a toy. "Besides, if they really care, they won't care about rank within the group. That then depends on the strength of the so called leaders." He shrugged. "A souvenir, hmm? How thoughtful of you, Breezy. " Will chuckled again as an amused expression formed on his face. "Take your time." The man ruffled his hair slightly and sighed before commenting sarcastically, "They won't miss you too much."

Bun Bun remained quiet and cute and really just appeared to be a bunny cuddled in Demios's arms. It didn't comment on anything, and it didn't make any actions that would it seem that it heard the conversations behind closed doors. It happily settled himself in Demios's arms

Erin blinked when Cecilia complimented her on her artistic talent, then a barely noticeable blush came to her cheeks. She had been complimented countless times by her sister and others, but this situation had just caught her off guard in terms of when Cecilia gave the compliment. Contrary to what most readers might choose to believe, Erin did not swing that way. "Oh... Thank you. It comes with practice and growing up without a television." Erin said, giggling a little bit under her breath. But the laughter didn't last too long as some memories of her and her sister playing together when they were growing with their adoptive parents crossed her mind. However, Erin somehow managed to push those thoughts to the back of her mind for the time being so she wouldn't worry Cecilia. "It's alright. I completely understand that there are things in people's minds that they don't want other people to know about." Erin replied, her smile becoming more gentle now and less sheepish after hearing Cecilia's apology. The younger of the twins looked down at the kabob in her hands as she continued speaking. "Unlike some telepaths who may have invaded your privacy, I wouldn't do any of that unless given permission to do so." When she was finished speaking, Erin looked back up at Cecilia with a smile. "Still hungry?" she asked.

Kate simply watched as Che continued his seemingly random motions and flailing. By now, she was used to the fact that Che was constantly on the move, so she wasn't going to complain. Though, she did wish that sometimes Che would just stand still and not flail around like some autistic person might do. Sometime she did wonder if Che was fully sane or not as well, but the thought never stayed with her very long for some odd reason. Maybe it was just because she was used to being around Che after such a long time? Who knew.

When Che finally stopped flailing and seemingly made a card appear from behind her ear, Kate frowned slightly. "Enough of this child's play." she said, waving Che's hand away from her face before he turned and headed off to begin their sightseeing trip. It didn't take her long to fall into step next to Che as they walked though. "So, Presidiomini. Where do you plan on taking me?" Kate asked.

When the waiter came to their table, Anya gave the man her order. As the waiter ran off to give the kitchen word of the food choices, Anya leaned an elbow on the edge of the table. She knew it wasn't polite to do that, but she did it anyway. That was just how she was. The poison owl looked out the window for a couple of seconds before she heard Nikolai's question. Anya blinked and looked back over at Nik. "Huh? What are you talking about? Who said we were sticking around to help with this thing in South America? We don't have to. Besides, we went over this already: you know I won't be able to help much on a battle field in this case. Anyway, they have more than enough people for the job. They don't need us around." She finished with a shrug. Anya paused or a moment, glancing out the window before looking back at Nikolai. She was contemplating whether or not she should say what she was thinking of saying. Was it wrong for her to want to apologize for yelling at him earlier on the plane ride here? Before she could stop herself much more to think about it, Anya spoke up, "I want to apologize.... For what happened on the plane..." she stated at a low volume so other people wouldn't really hear her, except for Nik.

Nikolai sighed and leaned back in his chair for a moment while Anya explained that they wouldn't be around to help afterward if they didn't stick around to help with the South American plan. He didn't have a problem with her decision, but was it really okay to just give up and leave when they'd stuck with the group for this long? Nik wasn't sure, but he'd go along with Anya regardless. He was looking out the window as well when Anya said she wanted to apologize for what happened on the plane. Nik quickly spoke up before she could continue, "No, I should be the one apologizing. I acted like an idiot even though I knew that you could understand how I was feeling. I'm sorry I didn't think about how you were feeling as well." Nik nodded and leaned back in his chair again looking over at Anya, sipping his drink and saying, "It really sucks when we fight, I much prefer it when we're getting along and enjoying our time together. Like now for instance." Nik smiled lightly at Anya and continued sipping his drink idly, waiting for their food to arrive.

Hearing Erin speak about her talent, Cecilia was reminded of her own. In fact, she had two. But she only ever revealed one. The other she was too shy to speak out loud. "Inlearned how to sew at a fairly young age and sort of became something of a designer, but given the fact of what's been happening and lack of money and supplies, I haven't been able to design anything in so long." Cecilia found it rather refreshing to talk to another girl. While Roulin was nice to be around, there were things that she couldn't talk to him about that she could talk to another female about. She looked down at her half eaten kabob and shook her head. "Actually the salty taste of this has made me a little thirsty. But as I don't really have any money, I'll
Just get something to drink later on."
She glanced at Erin. "It gets a little frustrating when there are people who know my every thought. In my opinion the mind is a very private place. I don't think it should be invaded unless it's a matter of life or death." After Cecilia spoke, she fell silent not wanting to be the only one talking.

"I'm sure Roulin won't mind. He spends too much time with his blue girl as it is. I'm sure by now she thinks he's clingy." Lomoli joked while both he and Aeon walked out into the pool area. Thanks to his herald powers, he was able to retrieve a pair of trunks before he entered the UNS building a while ago. "Yes, kids are evil...all of them. They touch stuff with their sticky little hands and break stuff and cry all the time. And you want three? Oh my god Aeon, you're killing me early..."

"Well, I hadn't planned on taking you to any place specific. I just wanted to show you that there is something to life besides moping, war and death." Che replied to Kate's inquiry. He'd already known that he was boring the lady and the war that was going on only a few miles away didn't help his search for peaceful area to show her. It was going to be tough getting her to see that there was still something to enjoy around these parts. The evening sun which was lowering against a deep purple, dark blue and pink background, the glistening beach water and the laughter of those who, like Che, was trying to make the best of this free moment, was all they had to look forward to now before another fight. Walking circles around the dark lady, Che could only hope that she'd notice and somewhat care about these things.

"Well, we have a choice. We can either keep walking forward until we get to a spot where the sunset's view is just at it's peak perfection. If not that, we can take a break and get something to eat from one of these restaurant. Maybe even a drink or two....if you don't mind, I'd rather you choose milady."

Soliel's frame spun throwing his ice covered hand into the body of the cryokinetic who actually seemed to be giving him quite a time. The b*****d had managed to inadvertantly find his weakness. He needed to kill him fast now. As the man crawled from Soliel, the magma owl kicked up a crescent of magma. The attack sliced the ground making it's way to Soliel's attacker. He dodged it, then slammed his hand against the ground sending a wave of ice snaking to owl's feet. Before it could reach him, it fizzled away into a thick white smoke. In the fog, the both of them were concealed, but Soliel could still feel where his attacker was due to him being in contact with the ground.

The fight didn't need to drag on any longer Soliel thought. A column of lava shot up over the man charring him down to his bones. That was the end for him, but it was only the beginning for the many, many people that were now on the shores of New Exire. About five carriers bringing with them more than at least three hundred people were now in position. Rushing off towards the shore, Soliel couldn't help but feel more anger towards Timothy. The Herald could wipe them all out with a handwave, but instead he decided to watch as if this were some kind of sick show. He'd get his soon hoped the magma owl. Even if it had to be him to do him in, he'd get his soon.

Aeon giggled at what Lamoli had to say as she looked at him change. Luckily she kept a swimsuit on no matter what, well at least while they were back on the island, so she stripped from her clothes as well. "You're in training to be a herald so killing you won't be that hard" she said as she lept into the pool submerging into the depths of the pool. It was serene to her as she let the water caress her as if she was a new born baby. She then began to blow a few bubbles as she began to swim towards the surface and emerged inhaling deeply. Smiling she waited for Moli to get in. She wanted to show him what her training had done for her lately.

As Jeannie began to walk forwards Elle took the chance to strike immediately as she injected Jeannie, assimilating her into her now psychic collective. The process was quick and Jeannie wouldn't be aware of it. Elle looked at Jeannie and smiled. "Are you okay?" she asked. Jeannie looked at Elle and nodded. "Yes I'm alright just have a weird bumpy feeling" she told her. The duo then proceeded onwards into the resort. "I know this may seem strange...but...how would you like to train Elle...I think I can teach you a few things...and maybe you can teach me some things" she asked her with a smile. Elle smiled at Jeannie and nodded. "I would love that" she said. Things were falling into her favor...and she was going to make sure that Cecilia and even Erin would pay for their mistakes. Elle had two psychics and a luck manipulator in her collective. All she needed now was Amara....the rest would fall into place given time.

Anya looked back over at Nik when he said he should be apologizing. Her first instinct was to tell him damn well better be the one apologizing for what he said to her. But she didn't say that at all. Instead she said. "We both need to think a little before we say something, don't we?" she asked with a shake of her head as she sat back in her own chair with a light sigh. Nik did have a point though. She did like it a lot better when they weren't fighting. That didn't just apply to Nik, it applied to all her friends. Except for one very annoying Satan Owl and a Death Owl. But with Nik it was somehow different. He was someone she couldn't stand to be angry at for very long.

"You're right. It does suck to fight amongst friends." she mused aloud, thinking about their conversation just now. "That's why I can't stay mad at you for very long. I like it when we're just hanging out like this. I don't get to experience many times like these, just being normal I mean."

===

Erin listened to Cecilia as she talked about their separate talents. She liked learning about other people by talking to them. At least when she got started in a conversation, Erin could be quite comfortable talking to others casually like she was now with Cecilia. She smiled a little at her new friend as she commented about the taste of the kabob meat. Erin herself was used to salty foods, but it seemed Cecilia was the opposite. "Sorry about the taste. I have a little bit of money on me, which I saved in case we ever came back to South America." Erin explained as she dug one hand into a pocket for extra change and the other held the kabob.

When she didn't find any, Erin smiled sheepishly. "I guess I either lost it, or forgot to bring it with me..." The younger twin looked back at Cecilia. "I'm sure we could find a water fountain in the UNS building when we head back." she suggested just before Cecilia returned the conversation to telepaths and reading the minds of other. Erin nodded in agreement. "That's why I always like to ask before I do something like that." She wanted to say that she had probed other's minds before with her sister, but that was mostly so they could survive on their own. She hadn't really been given the chance to object when her sister told her they needed to do something. At least, not until today.

The Eternity Owl stopped in her tracks. "I am not hungry." Kate replied to Che's suggestion of stopping at a restaurant for dinner or something. She frowned slightly when Che spoke of what he had planned to do by walking around with her. It wasn't because she was annoyed by the idea, she was just... curious, if that was the right word to explain it.

"Do you seriously think that I do not enjoy watching life as it passes?" Kate asked bluntly as she watched Che circling her. "If you do, you are unfortunately mistaken." Regardless of what Che might believe, Kate did notice the happiness of other people. She just wasn't sure anymore whether she was fit to live or to die. If this didn't make sense to anyone else, it didn't matter to Kate. All that mattered was that her reasons were her own. She was not the same person now as she was before meeting Che and the others. "If you would kindly stop circling me like either a house fly or a shark and actually stand still for once, maybe we could speak in a more normal fashion?"

With that, Kate stepped around Che and continued in the same direction they had been going before. "If you insist on following me around, then feel free to. Whether you came along or not, I plan to go watch the sun set before we must dive right back into another annoying battle..."
PostPosted: Tue Aug 09, 2011 3:10 pm

At Kate's behest, Che ceased circling around her and finally displayed some calmness for her sake. The unrelenting italian had already known that she did to some extent enjoy the happiness that others showed and his grin, he hoped, would let a the eternity owl know that. Matching her speed with her's so that he could travel beside her, he looked over to her and spoke. "I'm sure that like all people, you enjoy watching people have fun. You enjoy hearing kids laugh, watching people play and all of that. My problem, or rather job, is getting you to show that you like it. Let me tell you, you haven't made it easy at all sister. None."

His words came through in a normal fashion just as Kate had requested. Of course, his mind still raced with laughter, but he kept his demeanor and tone more subdued. If it would get something out of her, then so be it. "I take it you don't like my circling huh? Or my magic tricks. Heh, anyway, thanks for saving my son and his friend Kate. I guess that's two things I owe you now right? My soul and something else. Anyway, do you have any plans for when this is all done? Besides going back to the gates or whatever?"

"Hmph. That's what you think. I almost took down Raven. Hadn't it been for that idiot Khalifa, I would've," replied Moli as he stepped into the water getting a feel for it's chilling bite. Toes first, then his legs and finally his body. Looking over to Aeon, he wondered how she could take the pain. He then remembered who gave her commands and what team she worked on. "A-a-a-alright....l-l-let's see if you c-c-can swim now....where's the d-d-deep end lovely?"

Vincent continued to press forward as he walked. IT seemed that things were getting more crowded but he couldn't figure out why. Then things came to a hault and some people were turning around as the crowd pushed Vincent towards where he came from. At first he assumed it was the flow of traffic but then he noticed two pairs of large hands holding him by his arms. "Who the hell are you guys?" he asked as he struggled to get free but couldn't . He couldn't use his powers because he couldn't use his hands.

Aeon looked at Moli and began to laugh at his reaction to the water. "Of course I can swim, I was on the swim team in highschool" she told him with a laugh. She then began to effortlessy swim towards Moli and laughed. "I've been training alot with my powers, you know my real powers. she said to him. She then closed her eyes as she began to duplicate as it were now eight copies of Aeon. The extended their hands as cherri blossom peddles rained from them. Aeon had just used projection. She looked at Moli to see what his response would be.
