Tam helps him skin the boar then lets Hopian determine the cuts and method of preparation. Kero never lets him do much with the larger game, preferring to handle it himself, though Tam often took care of the fish and poultry.

Tam chuckles in reply. "Never thought of that. Never butchered either... though we never went for lack of food... but I never hunted in griffin form only as a fox... kind of hard to bring down something like this when yer one fifth it's size and hunting with a cub. And why go for the larger game when ye'd have to leave most of it behind."

Tam points out the trap door that Kero uses and asks for a large roast for dinner. "Fortuny could use a good solid meal under her belt. And with Kero sick... a roast is about all I know how to fix with fresh pork." he adds with a grin.

"Oh.... I told Bez, but wasn't sure you heard. Honorian and a few of the children are here, Fortuny called them to tend to Kero. He came down with the flu after you left." says Tam heading back inside.

"You shouldn't be. He has picked up a virus from somewhere... then went into the water to nag Granddad and got himself quite chilled, which probably lowered his resistance considerably. The others said he should be right as rain in a couple of days, but he should remain quarantined for a bit yet. He's sleeping right now with Thyrion standing guard. I got to meet two more gem children... Fideliana and Feleus." says Tam chuckling wisely. "Now those two I could learn to live with and like it."

Tam nods. "They remind me of what Bez was like before...." then he falls silent. "I hope it rubs off on him... a bit, but... "

"But what, Dulcha?" comes a curious voice from the doorway. Bez is standing drying his hands on a towel, in his humanoid form, his thin tired face alert with curiosity.

Tam looks up with a sheepish smile. "Nothing, Bez... nothing... wistful thinking, nothing more... Have you met our guests?"

Bez nods, "Yes, I have.... Interesting kinsmen you have, Sparky. I could get to like your family... even Master Stuffshirt."

Tam shakes his head in mock sadness and pats him on the back. "He'll learn... give him time. Once he meets more of ye, that is. Though I do hope you aren't waiting for him to exhibit any sign of respect for yer people any day soon. He even called the All Father Pops once."

Bez shrugs, grinning wickedly. "Respect is something earned in my book... and trust for that matter. And people I trust and respect I tend to view as equals and friends... though some are far closer than most. Though it may seem difficult at first to determine if you are friend or foe, as I also keep my enemies close as well... all the better to keep an eye on them, you know."

Bez grins back. "Word of warning... the more formal I am, the more yer on my black list.... unless of course someone is staring daggers in my back like they are right now..." He turns around with a bow and chuckles. "No offense, I hope, m"Lord."
