Gregar828 Custom technology is kind of like the "unsure" bin. Anything that doesnt quite fit anywhere else can be regarded as custom technology. I would hold off on trying to make summoning tattoos for the moment. I would have to anyway cause need to be chunin >.<...but I love my tattoos, it gives me an excuse to fight shirtless and dress like a stripper *pic in sig shows all* XD

Can we teach ourself jutsu, or do we ave to learn them from other people?

Kira has made me think of a question:
Can we teach ourself bloodline jutsu? Like say we learned to harness our bloodline? Or do we have to learn it from somebody else?

Once you reach Chuunin, you can learn on your own. Before that, no, you must find a teacher, or have a Crew create an NPC to teach you.

No. You have to find scrolls and be a Chuunin to teach yourself. Before then, if you want to learn bloodline techniques, you have to have someone who knows them teach you. You do not innately know techniques of any kind.

Then, can an RPC learn custom jutsu form their brain, or does their have to be a scroll for it?
And, Greg, am I still allowed to use Tonfa style? Or was i totally imagining you giving me permission for that. Is that also though up out of my characters head, or a magically appearing scroll?

If you use tonfas, then you can use the tonfa style.

And as to learning custom techniques you create, I think you have to post your character creating them, and it's the same as if you were learning a jutsu of equal rank from someone else.

I've always been told that "even though you made them your character didnt. you need to learn them like any other jutsu, through an NPC or a scroll."

That's for guild wide, bloodline, or various other customs. if it's a personal, as in belonging to you, custom, you can be the creator of it, but you have to be at least chuunin to learn it.

If I were to make a Cresent Moon blade as Kai's custom weapon am I allowed to make it some-what similar to the original Zangestu blade? If not then why? If yes then why?

@Mint: Are you talking about Zangetsu from Bleach? Zangetsu isnt a Sickle, the term for crescent moon blade.
