xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx My first real date, my first real dance... Sora was glad to hear that Kairi was looking forward to the night, and was completely content with just walking and talking with him. He knew that he owed her at least one dance, but to hear her admit that just talking was fine really relieved him. What relieved him even more was that she’d opened her mouth just as he’d started changing subjects. So that meant he’d beat her to her question in just the nick of time. He mentally wiped his brow, but didn’t show anything in his expression. He just grinned brightly as Kairi talked about seeing everyone else in dresses and suits. He smirked, envisioning some of his friends wearing suits. Axel… didn’t seem like a straight-laced kind of guy, even for a formal dance like this. He was pretty sure that he would come wearing something a little out of the ordinary. ”Yeah, that will be fun,” he agreed, stifling a chuckle. ”But I bet no one looks as good as you do. In fact, I know they won’t.” All the joking in his voice suddenly disappeared as he found himself staring right into Kairi’s eyes. It was true. To him, tonight no one would look better than the girl in his arms.
Sora felt like he was in some sort of trance for a moment. He couldn’t seem to tear his gaze from Kairi’s eyes. He subconsciously found himself leaning in towards her a little closer, centimeter by centimeter, closer to her face. And then he stopped. Literally. He wasn’t walking anymore. And that snapped him back to reality. He pulled back and laughed. ”Well, I, uh, um… hm…” he stumbled over his words. There was no excuse to be found. Had he been about to kiss her!? Here, now? That startled him slightly. Would Kairi want to be kissed? He… wanted to. He just didn’t want to make her feel uncomfortable. Well, he’d ask her later. He didn’t want to be rude. There was a very awkward silence between them for a moment, and he felt his cheeks burn bright red as he tried to figure out what to say. However, he was saved by the sight of someone waving at them. Kairi noticed first, waving in return. He finally managed to look away from Kairi to see who it was. At first, he didn’t recognize her with long hair, but then-- ”Quest, is that you?” he called to the girl. ”Wow. You look… different.” What a lame comment. He was full of those tonight. Oh well, at least he’d just wasted one on Quest instead of his girlfriend. ((Aw, thanks, Kairi. And poor Sora's so awkward!!! *laughs* By the way, Hunter. I don't know how to reply as Aros, so I'm probably going to wait for someone else to post before I reply. Just a heads up.)) ((Also, very slightly edited. I hope it still works...))Nothing could ruin this moment... right?

¤ Qυєѕτ ¤ Hυиτєя ¤ All our memories are never forgotten..... They are only locked behind a door....Quest giggled self-conciously. "Yeah, I didn't think anyone would remember me unless I told them." Uh, ouch. Skimming a bit too close to the truth there, hun. "It's a once in a year thing, right? I think I can handle." She smiled at them. "And, wow, Kairi!" She turned to the other crimsonette. "You look gorgeous! Like a princess!" The princess that you truely are. "And you don't look half-bad in a tux, Sora." She craned her neck to look behind the pair, but no one else was there. Still no sign of Roxas....But she wasn't about to worry them about that. They looked happy, blissful even. And when we find a key to that door.... We will remember..... ||OOC: Yeah okay ^^ I still have Quest to play, so no worries||

~Thinking of you, wherever you are. Sora agreed with Kairi saying that it would be fun to see everyone, but no one would look as good as she did. "Aww Sora," Kairi smiled blushing, but she didn't turn away. She looked up at Sora with loving eyes as she said, "You sure know how to make a girl feel special. You always seem to know just what to say."
As the crimsonette smiled up at her boyfriend she realized they had stopped walking. She noticed that Sora was leaning in towards her face. Was, was he going to kiss her?! Her first kiss... Something Kairi had thought about, and knew with out a doubt that it would be with Sora. She had dreamt of it, but now that the brunette was leaning in close to her, Kairi found herself breathless. The Princess quickly thought about the romance movies she had seen and of Naminé and Riku. The couples always seemed to close their eyes when they kissed, so the red head slowly began closing hers. They quickly shot back open though once she realized Sora had pulled back. He laughed and stumbled over his words. Kairi laughed as well, turing very pink. She turned away as there was an awkward silence between them for a moment, and that's when she had seen and waved to Quest.
Sora seemed to have noticed her longer hair as well since he commented that she looked different. This made Kairi giggle a little as they approached Quest. It was the truth though. "You look very pretty," the crimsonette smiled to Quest when they reached her. She then rubbed the back of her head as the other crimsonette told her that she looked gorgeous, like a princess. "Aww thank you so much Quest," Kairi beamed. Quest then went on to say to Sora that he didn't look half bad in a tux. "She's right!" the Princess giggled.
((You're welcome! Aww lol I know! That's what makes him super adorable though!! ^///^))We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx My first real date, my first real dance... Sora hadn’t really had time to process it until now, but he’d realized Kairi had been shutting her eyes when he’d leaned in to… do whatever it was he was going to do. Did that mean… she’d wanted him to kiss her? His brain was all fuzzy with these types of thoughts, and he knew he wouldn’t be able to get out an intelligible sentence if he kept thinking about it, so he shook his head to get the thoughts out of his mind. They walked over to Quest and she said that she didn’t think anyone would recognize her with her new hair. He was quite surprised that Kairi had recognized her, and himself as well. She did look really different with long hair, but that wasn’t a bad thing. It was just different. ”Yeah, special occasion,” he agreed as she said it was a once a year kind of thing. ”Gotta go all out, right?” He grinned, knowing that today would probably be the only day of the year anyone would find him in a suit.
Quest spoke up again, complimenting Kairi on how pretty she looked. To Sora, pretty was an understatement, but he didn’t say anything against it. This was because Quest had then turned the compliment to him, saying he didn’t look half bad in a tux. His eyes widened slightly and he rubbed the back of his head with his free arm. Kairi thanked Quest and then agreed with her comment about him. ”Well, don’t count on seeing me in one often,” he warned the two. ”Like I said, special occasions only.” He’d been extremely lucky that the suit had fit in the first place, since he’d neglected to try it on until this afternoon. Pulling his thoughts from that, he looked around trying to spot some other familiar faces, like maybe Riku or Xion or someone like that. However, most people were inside dancing, and the people that were outside he only knew from passing in the halls. He looked back at the girls. ”I don’t see anyone else out here,” he stated. ”Have you? Do you think they might already be inside?” He was looking forward to getting inside to see what things looked like, but he was also nervous because then he would have to dance. Because of this, his grip around Kairi’s waist unconsciously tightened. It wasn’t really tight, but firm, like if he let go, the crimsonette would float away from him. And that was the last thing in the worlds that he needed to have happen right now. ((Kairi's so sweet and innocent too! Poor Quest is probably all "Wow, what a bunch of n00bs." *laughs*))Nothing could ruin this moment... right?

~Thinking of you, wherever you are. When Quest told Sora he didn't look half bad in a tux and Kairi had agreed, the brunette rubbed the back of his head then warned the girls not to count on seeing him in one too often. "Aw!" the Princess pouted, she quite liked this spiffy Sora. The Keyblade Master then said it was for special occasions only. Kairi smiled slyly at that and said, "Ooh okay. So that means if I decided to have a formal dinner for my next birthday, you'd have to wear a suit again!" In all honesty though, Kairi was okay with this being a once a year kind of thing. She loved Sora dressed up, but she loved his normal cute self more. That didn't mean she wasn't still thinking of having a formal dinner for her next birthday though! The crimsonette quite liked that idea, it'd be another fun day for them to all dress up. Though she'd only make the dinner part of her birthday formal, the rest would be casual and carefree!
Sora stated that he didn't see anyone else out here, and asked if they thought they might already be inside. Kairi looked around and saw that her boyfriend was right. It was only her, him, and Quest outside. "Hmm... Yeah, they must be inside already then," the red head said before half laughing, "That, or they're running late like us." At the mention of being inside, Kairi felt Sora's grip around her waist tighten a little. Was he afraid that once they were in the gym, they'd get separated by the crowds? If that was the case, Sora didn't need to worry. Kairi didn't plan on leaving his side at all tonight.
((Aww thank you Sora! :3 Haha yeah I know huh? XD Lol, sorry Quest!))We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

¤ Qυєѕτ ¤ Hυиτєя ¤ All our memories are never forgotten..... They are only locked behind a door....Quest smiled gratefully, face a bit red. "Thanks." She beamed and nodded. "Special occasions only." She agreed. "As much as this dress looks pretty, I'm not really one for skirts and heels." She admitted sheepishly and tugged at her dress again. "I haven't seen anyone we know yet." She told them. "You two are actually the first people who arrived who I actually know." She said with a laugh. "I've been inside already. I don't really know how to dance, so I came outside before anyone else asked me to." Truthfully, she had taken a few basic lessons with Belle, but she wasn't about to tell them that. And when we find a key to that door.... We will remember..... ||Haha, amazing no xD She thinks they're sweet.||

Riku Mr. Gorgeous "Dark One" Riku finished getting ready and headed out to pick his girlfriend up. The silvernette knocked on the door and waited. He felt great. And he was actually smiling softly. He had the girl and his Darkness was gone. How much better could it be? He put his hands into his pockets and stared about, waiting. Hopefully they could get there soon and find Sora and Kairi and the others.

Blaise. I get to go to a dance, so nothing can go wrong. The only way to be sure about tonight, is to experience it firsthand.Blaise walked back to school for the dance. He kept walking until he got to the school's boundary. Did Xia and Sky get here first? Or am I the first one of us that came. he thought. He walked to the steps of the school. He saw the outline of people, so he walked on school grounds. "I know they'd be here before me." The brunette held the charm he made. It was one of the three he made. The other two were with Sky and Xia, so they'd know that the trio would always be together. He had unconciously walked closer to the building, but stopped. He had to make sure he didn't have dirt on his suit. After all he did to get it, he had to make sure there wasn't dirt on it.
He made sure there wasn't any dirt, and continued walking. He reached the building, but stood near the steps waiting for Xia and Sky. They're coming, I feel it. He forgot about the people he saw when entering school grounds, so he just stood staring at the school entrance waiting for Xia and Sky. It wasn't everyday, that a dance was held. He had high hopes for the dance. Granted, he was a little nervous. He held the charm again, this time raising it near his face. He held it for a few seconds, then quickly put it in his pocket.Besides, it's a tme to relax, and a chance to get together with my friends... ((Yeah, just a note: I couldn't find a picture for the tuxedo, so I chose this. Just imagine Blaise without the cape. Thanks.))

~Thinking of you, wherever you are. "You're welcome," Kairi grinned when Quest smiled and thanked her for the compliment. The other crimsonette agreed with Sora though, saying it was for special occasions only. She said as pretty as the dress was, she wasn't one for skirts and heels. Kairi could understand the two for feeling that way, but she could help but break away from her boyfriend for a moment and disagree with them. "Well unlike you two, I am so loving this dress!" the Princess happily exclaimed and giggled as she twirled around, causing her dress to fan out around her, looking like a large colorful pinwheel. Yes, she was feeling exceptionally girly tonight. After a few seconds she stopped spinning, her dress falling back about her. She blushed slightly at her little moment, then returned to Sora's side, wrapping her arm around his waist again. Still pink in the face, the crimsonette laughed, "So yeah, I could get used to wearing that more often. Not all the time like the other Princesses, but definitely more than just special occasions. However I do agree with you Quest about the heels. They can totally be a once a year thing for me!"
When Quest heard Sora's question about the others she replied that she hadn't seen anyone they know yet, and that Sora and Kairi had been the first people to arrive that she actually knew. "Really? I guess we're not the only ones who are late then," the Princess half laughed. Quest told them she had been inside already, but didn't really know how to dance so she came outside before someone asked her to. "How does the gym look?" Kairi asked with a smile, knowing it had been decorated. Still smiling the crimsonette added, "Aww I'm sure you can dance Quest! But if not, that's okay. You can just have fun hanging out with your friends. I know that's how I want to spend of my night."
((Hahaha XD Aww yay! Thanks Quest! ^^))We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx My first real date, my first real dance... Sora turned to Kairi, a little appalled when she pouted at him saying he wasn’t going to wear a suit often. She told him that she would make her next birthday a formal dinner so that he had to get dressed up. This made his cheeks turn a little red. ”What?” he whined, returning the red-head’s previous pout. ”Oh, fine. But then you’ve gotta wear that dress too, and those heels!” He wasn’t going to be the only one dressed up. However, if Kairi liked it, then he really didn’t have a problem with dressing up for her. He’d then mentioned the fact that no one else was there, and Kairi looked around and agreed. She figured they could be running late like they had been. Quest spoke up, first saying that he’d been right about the special occasion thing and how she disliked dresses and heels. Then she told them that she’d not seen anyone yet, and she’d already been inside. So that meant they had to be running late too.
Kairi, going back to the subjects about formal attire, broke free from Sora’s grasp and told them how she loved her dress. A sly smirk appeared on the brunette’s face as she twirled around, showing off a little. ”You’re not the only one liking that dress,” he pointed out, chuckling. Kairi came back to his side and wrapped her arm around him again, so he did the same. She then turned to Quest and admitted that she didn’t like wearing heels either. ”I’m lucky,” he laughed. ”I don’t wear heels!” He gave a toothy grin and shuffled his feet around to show off his dress shoes. Sure, they weren’t comfortable like his normal shoes, but they had to be those death-traps girls called high-heels. Kairi wanted to know what the gym looked like inside, and told Quest that, despite what she’d previously said, she was probably a fine dancer. However, she was happy if they didn’t dance and just hung out, which again was a huge relief to Sora. ”Well, we could go inside, if you want,” he suggested, knowing his girlfriend was eager to see the gym all snazzy for the dance. ”If we keep an eye on the door, we can see if anyone we know comes in. Or… we could just stay here. It’s whatever you want.” Whatever she wanted to do was fine with him. Just as long as they were together and they were having fun. ((You're welcome, Kairi ^^ And thanks Quest, they're trying. Sora thinks he's failing horribly, though, and that makes me laugh.))Nothing could ruin this moment... right?

 Naminé Miss Memory Witch
Naminé looked to Quest when the girl stated that she had something to do, and the petite blonde nodded. "See you later, Quest. Be careful!" The Memory Witch called out after her. Quest left, soon followed by Sora and Kairi and the others. The Memory Witch sighed as she found herself alone in her house, frowning down at the ground. Something was horribly wrong. And she was afraid that things were about to get complicated and worse as far as her friends were concerned. Something bad was going to happen. Naminé lifted her head and gazed out one of the windows of her house, her lips parting as she spoke softly aloud. "I won't let anything hurt my friends," she whispered the promise to the air and then stood up and headed to her room to spend some time thinking.
-------- Time Skip ----------
It was time for the dance. It was already a half-hour past the dance. It had started at seven and she was running late. The Memory Witch was in her room, putting on the finishing touches. Placing the choker and her neck and putting the clips in her hair, she stepped back and glanced at her appearance. Her dress was definitely unique. One of a kind. She'd created it earlier that day. Turning about to see her reflection, she smiled softly. Tonight was going to be fun.
A knock sounded on her door and excitement coursed through her veins, her smile wideneing. That was probably Riku. Rushing over to her bed, she sat down and slid her white flats on, then hurried down the stairs and to her front door. Grabbing the handle, she pulled it open and found herself face to face with Riku. Smiling shyly up at him, the petite blonde spoke in her gentle voice. "Hi."

Lakayna listened to Namine's theory about how Kairi could have gotten darkness in her heart. The lavendernette had to admit that it was very plauseable and made sense. Quest said she had to leave for something. Lakayna left some time late, to have time to get ready for the dance. -time skip- Lakayna looked in her beadroom mirror one last time, making sure everything was the way she wanted it. Axel had told her awhile ago he'd come to her house and walk to the dance with her. Lakayna wondered if anyone would recognie her. She looked beautiful, and dressing in a way she never did. The lavendernette bid bye to her father and walked outside to ait on the porch steps for Axel.

Xia Xia walked carefully up the steps in her brand-new dress. She wasn't used to it- The long skirt brushing her ankles, the tall heels. Even her hair was pulled up into pigtails. She felt like a cloud- all white and silver and lavender. Hoping she wouldn't fall, she began to search for Blaise and Skylar- they were her, right? And they would be together....
She shook her head slightly. None of that, now. I have friends. That should be enough for a Nobody like me. She touched the shell from Sky and Charm from Blaise- both were on a chain, inside her dress.A Light From The Darkness

Blaise. I get to go to a dance, so nothing can go wrong. The only way to be sure about tonight, is to experience it firsthand.Blaise stood at the steps of the school. He saw Xia walk into the grounds in a dress that looked brand new. The way she walked, and acted. It didn't seem like her. Rather, it looked like she was someone else. Blaise fixed his suit and went to meet Xia. "Hey Xia." Blaise smiled. He walked besides her, letting his charm hang from his pocket. "Sky probably isn't here yet, but she should be here soon." the brunette said. Blaise smiled, and fixed his suit again. "This is new for me. I mean the suit and dancing." he said. Blaise watched, as the people were coming from all around. "Sure is peaceful right?" he asked his friend. Blaise looked at the Nobody while walking with her. No, that isn't right. In his eyes, Xia wasn't a Nobody, she was his friend. No matter what, he wouldn't let anyone call her a Nobody. Blaise thought about Sky. She'll be here, we had it all planned out he thought to himself. The brunette watched again, as everyone walked into the building. He saw girls with gold dresses, and even some with white ones. He didn't let his eyes stray, because he came with Sky and Xia. He smiled once more, and escorted Xia to the dance. "Should we wait for Sky, or do you want to go in?" he asked. He would have waited for Sky, but if Xia wanted to go in, he would follow her if she wanted.Besides, it's a tme to relax, and a chance to get together with my friends...

Xia Xia smiled. "Hi, Blaise!" She greeted him happily. "This is new to me too- my first dance, my first formal dress. And the heels," She said, looking at a sleek silver strap of a shoe. "Too bad Sky's not here yet- let's wait for her over there," She said, pointing to a low wall outside the building.
As she walked, she tried to concentrate- don't trip, don't step on the dress, don't stare at Blaise. Keep what friends you have, Nobody. You've come this far, don't screw up now. This One Night, That's All I Ask
