Vexis shut her eyes, then sighed. "I'm sorry for this, everyone..." Vexis said rather hesitantly, but reached for her dagger anyway. "But I was hired to do this, and if I don't...I'll end up dead." Vexis immediately threw the blade at Damien, it pierced through where Rosa had stabbed him -straight through the heart. Vexis faded to mist, the pinkish substance floated away, then dissipated into nothing soon after.
Rosa wasn't quick enough -she wasn't able to stop Vexis' attack soon enough. And now Vexis was gone, Rosa couldn't even try to attack back like this, she couldn't find Vexis anywhere, not even where the mist went to. Rosa instead headed over to Damien, his face pale and expressionless, his -now deeper- wound started bleeding again, things didn't look too good. Rosa's eyes briefly changed to turquoise, but then returned to green soon after. "Damien....please, don't give up..."

Vexis re-solidified quite a distance away, she was on the rooftop of one of the laboratories. Her feeling of numbness and guilt had returned, but had she really had a choice to begin with? Vexis felt the cold water of raindrops start to wash over her, rain was normally seen as a purifying occurrence, but to Vexis, the raindrops felt like blood. 'This all is wrong...I should never have agreed to hunt them down...I screwed up again...' Vexis sat down on the metallic roof, pulling her knees in close to her chest, burying her face in her hands. '...I'm not a true healer...I only destroy...'
((Ever notice that we each have our own ways of filling in story? Zfatal is good with detail and character development, SPI is best at describing things and explaining situations (sometimes), I myself try more to invoke the emotions that the characters are feeling into the reader...trying to add depth, and Techni is good with lightening up the mood of the RP with more humorous posts...(generally) xd ))

((interesting note... so, the four of us (spi, techni, hiddochi, zfatal) are the main posters, right? kryxel posts somewhat often - at least he hasn't abandoned it like some people. and poor techni i think she would LIKE to post with regularity but has trouble keeping up with the story! I wonder what she originally envisioned this RP to be like... a gay* old time, maybe?

Though if I don't post while I've still got my creativity flowing, I'll forget what I had thought up and I get writer's block... xp my mind sucks in many ways.))

((*sigh*... gotta wait for others to post before we continue....
and you should open up a word processor and type down your thoughts as they come. When I type, I just type what comes to me, and sometimes they might be a stroke of genius, other times horrible plot writing. It's like that for me when I draw, though; inspiration and the right mood is required before my work begins to satisfy me. I've got some things in the arena... before they revised it, though, so my stuff might not be in there anymore.))

((I unfortunately don't have a word processor program, our old computer had one (AppleWorks 6), but we got this new one and found out it didn't come with Appleworks like the old one did. xp And my dad is too cheap to buy the program separately. So I'm forced to just post as is...))

and yes, I DO have paper and pencils/pens, but half the time I can't even read my own handwriting. lol That, plus, there is no Real-Life Spell Check, if I didn't have that program on the computer here...you would be uber confused on what I was trying to say... xd

((no... wordpad and notepad computer programs. Are you on a mac? On windows, under the accessories option there are always wordpad and notepad. but i guess those wouldn't be on a mac.))

As usual, the score was heaped in Nolan's favor. She was an expert pilot, but anything like chess she was awful at. ((@Zfatal: I have an iMac, OS X model *geek details*, not Windows... sweatdrop Though, our computer does have the Intel chip in it, so if we bought Windows software it could work.
@Techni: True...*hasn't picked up a non-digital dictionary in ages* xd ))
Rosa picked up Damien carefully, then followed the group to the Hummingbird without argument.

((ha! XD that would have been funny... indeed your sense of humor is pretty good, techni. unlike mine, which, if it was an organ, would be all dry and shriveled up... like an appendix....))
Marth ran after Nina, taking great strides but also wobbling with each step. Other than what might be concluded to be a small amount of disorientation, Marth seemed fine to all eyes.
He seemed, to be specific.
