Serenity had watched all the destruction from a window of the castle. "I was right to place my trust in the fool, but in the end he should have listened to me. It was a good offer. The idiot didn't take it, and I was right too." She shook her head regretfully. She leaned back against the chair she had been standing on top of. Her rooms were very high up. On the other side of the room, her bodyguard, the one who called himself the wolf stood quietly. "Did you bait the dragon?" She asked curiously.
The silent man shook his head.
Serenity looked down at the floor unhappily. Nothing was going to plan, but she had all the time in the world. "We need the monster out of the way, as well. The dragon should keep the monster occupied, but we need a more permanent solution." She seemed to think for a moment, placing a finger on her chin and looking up at the ceiling. "Tempest sounds like a fun little girl. Tee-hee. Bring her up here for me." Serenity grinned at the thought. The next few days would be spectacular.
The bodyguard bowed, and silently made his way out of the room. He didn't smile at all. He had been the first one to find the old clerk dead at the desk early in the morning. The clerk had died from a heart attack.

Paradox finished burying the last of the bodies. he had been caught by surprise, with his armor off, and it had taken him the entire battle to put the jacket of metal back on. He had dispersed the assasin in his room early in the morning. The man would no doubt be spreading rumors about what he had seen.

There was a knock on tempest's door. The hollow sound repeated, and repeated. The man outside hoped she was in her room, but he wouldn't care if the wench had moved adjacent room with his brother. Taboo. . .

Tempest was resting in her room for a bit she was healing people all day and finally got to a point where people were well enough to help one another in her place. She heard a knocking at her door and opened it looking up at the large armored man.
"Yes? Anything wrong?" She asked. She was worried another emergency came up.
Zypher was helping to tend to the wounded in his sisters place along with whatever nurses and doctors who were alive and well enough to help.
He was upset for not finding the truth any sooner. But everyone had trusted the very men who attacked today not expecting this to happen. Right after they went through so much with those elites. They just weren't ready for something of this altitude.

The man glanced at Tempest. In that single moment, he seemed to size up the girl and everything about her. He turned around and motioned for her to follow him, before starting to move down the hall. He used no words at all.

Tempest thought for a moment where she saw this odd armored man. After closing her door Tempest fallowed him. She began to remember where she saw this man, he was the one who was always with Serenity.
"Is Serenity alright?" Tempest asked. She hoped Serenity wasn't hurt during the attack.

The man only grunted in response, and continued forward, climbing stairs and what not. They finnaly reached Serenity's door. The man didn't smile, before yanking the door open for Tempest.
Serenity was inside sitting on the floor with some dolls. "Are you alright? I heard there was some trouble outside. . . Mr. Wolf didn't want me outside the rooms." She looked at Tempest questioningly. She smiled reasurringly about the dolls.

Tempest let out a relieved sigh seeing Serenity was alright.
"Yes there was an attack earlier as you guessed and alot of people died. Moral is low at the moment and alot of people are mourning. It's rather sad right now." Tempest said looking at the ground for a moment. looking up again she smiled.
"But I know things will get better. So what's up is that all you wand me for was to ask about the attack?"

Serenity's eyes flew wide. "An attack!" She cried out. Her small body managed to jump from the gournd. "And I missed it?" She whined, her mood changing almost instantly.
"My father used to tell me about attacks, and how they were always repelled so heroically with the enemy always being defeated." She remembered fondly.

"Well, we made them run away at the end but the attack hurt us really bad.... The leader got away and the queen was almost kidnaped. But, we managed. I'm not fond of attacks like that. Mr. Orion was thier leader everyone didn't expect him for anything. Well Zypher was kinda careful around him. But I think even he was taken back whe he found out Mr. Orion was planning something this big." Tempest said.

Serenity looked up at tempest. The little girl pouted and crossed her arms. "He was an idiot. he didn't help me find my book. he deserved to be defeated." Her voice whined on and on, but still managed to be musical at the same time. She stopped suddenly, as if a thought had just blossomed full throttle into her head. "Zypher? Isn't that the scary assassin?" She asked innocently.

"Well he may seem that way but he's really nice. He's even helping wounded people right now. He made me take a break since I was working so hard. But yeah I guess he is that scary assassin." Tempest said with a giggle. She thought it was funny Zypher was scary to other people. Tempest didn't mind Serenity talking about Orion that way. After what he did Tempest wanted to say things like that as well.

Serenity giggled too, but then looked at tempest with Awe. "He scares me. You must be super brave to not be scared of him, eispeically when he becomes a birdie." She shivered at the thought. She had been in the library, but she had told nobody about it, and probably wouldn't

Tempest's eyes widened from what Serenity had said. This girl must've heard something from somewhere. But where? How?
"A birdie? What do you mean?" She asked trying to play off what Serenity was getting at.
"He's just an assassin after all he isn't anything more than that."
