Jaden pulled a chair up as close to the bed as he could get it, so he could return to the gental petting he'd done before. " How are you feeling?"

Dorian tilted his head towards the petting hand. "Better.. it dosn't hurt as much.. just ache here and there now... It'll probably hurt more when i sleep" He said quietly.

Jaden blinked "shouldn't it hurt less?" He asked looking down at Dorian, he want ed to be bigger so he could show Dorians dad what it felt like to be beaten up.

Making sure they were both covered Jaden wiggled into a comfortable position on the chair. " your welcome." He said returning the smile.

Dorian felt comforted that he'd do that. Friends were nice, he had concluded. Murring softly still, he nuzzled Jaden's hand. "I hope you get better soon, you're too nice to be ill."
