*comes back out with a pitcher of ice water, two glasses, a bag of sugar cubes, and a funny-looking spoon*
What? No, the drink is perfectly fine, it's the kitchen I'm speaking of! Everything is this polished STEEL that must've taken AGES to shine that bright! eek And there are buttons and dials and switches everywhere! And there wasn't ice cooling the ice box!
This is a very strange bar indeed.
*sets down the glasses and starts pouring*

Well, no, there was a little ice, and everything was satisfactorily cold, but the ice very obviously wasn't the cause of the low temperatures.
*sets the spoon over the glasses, sugar cubes on top, and starts pouring the water into the glasses, through the spoon*
And someone had even put a light inside of it! eek It's very puzzling.

Ms. Selina Kyle ...your kitchen consists of stick and fire, doesn't it? I don't really have one at present, since I'm living in a very tiny apartment, but back at home there's a perfectly respectable kitchen, thank you. talk2hand Ovens and pantries and a cellar and a NORMAL ice box, with ice delivered DAILY. *preens* ...I've no idea how to cook in it, of course. sweatdrop I think I got to help make a pie once when I was very little, but that was about it. *hands her one of the glasses, the liquid now opaque* Cheers, then! Well I tried going hunting once with some family, but I'm not much good with a rifle. I take too long trying to calculate trajectories. gonk And I did try to recreate Mendel's hybridization experiments when I was younger. So I can grow peas, at least. surprised
