Vikaari Trahk I don't really think that would make sense personally, if he's being played as lower than Lt, than he gets promoted to Captain instead of the Lt? I don't know, doesn't make sense all that much, but maybe. KUKUKUKUKUKU!
Because Kei himself said Haru wasn't ready for captaincy, so if you RP'd whatshisface to speak with Haru regarding this matter, then Haru would tell him about Eli leaving, then offer him the seat instead because he feels whatshisface is far more capable. Which would make the whole thing make more sense in the long run.
Silly. I know what I'm talking about.

True, Haru was not designed for captaincy... His character screamed of subordination all over the place.
Anyways, you could just talk to Haru all about it. Or just appear to have been promoted? Hmmm... You know... Like that Amagai arc? Wasn't he like some kind of mysterious figure who just got promoted? *don't bash; didn't watch that arc*

Actually, it would be your fault. Despite what the morons at 4chan would like you to think, you're accountable for any and all statements made in a different tone.
Tone is not conveyed via the internet, therefore if you do not make the effort to ensure it is conveyed (i.e emoticons, italics, parenthesis, etc) then it's on you if someone fails to understand it.
