really ******** up that 17 year olds look 11-ish and you don't look 17-18 until you're nearly 30.
I understand it's roleplaying (and have been roleplaying for nearly 2 decades) but the whole idea sits
wrong with me that my 17 year old has the body of an 11 year old.
It seems like it would create a lot of really bad situations. Not to mention messing up the whole physical and hormonal changes in the human body in those years.(Nearly twenty years of teen hormones! O.M.G!)
You have little kids whose physical frames and muscle development lag far behind their contemporaries for over a decade extra.
I understand starting young in the Naruto days when the ninja academy is their actual schooling (which incidentally the manga was aimed at that age group) but it just seems a really arbitrary clause for the Uzumaki that wasn't really thought out.
And some manga examples:
Naruto didn't grow up slower.
Nagato aged the same as Konan and Yahiko.
Kushina went to school and aged alongside Minato.
To be quite blunt Uzumaki will have an army of little boys whose balls haven't dropped and little girls not even out of their training bras.
