True. Still, CB is the gaian equivalent of hell in my opinion... I exited your thread, and right above it there was a "Selling nude pics" thread.

just... fail.

It's true. Though I do believe 9/10th(s) of Gaia has been dragged to Hell with it. Just a bit ago, friend of mine went through GD just once for the first time in months - first thread he clicks? Troll raid, ends up being an old man orgy image thread.

I s**t you not. God I love Gaia. :Toad:

Like I said, F- -. That's why I hide in the GGNs nowadays... its just safer that way. Less likely to have my braincells mutilated.

eek ...

On another side note, anyone know how to destroy a...what's the word...

Quote:
quintuple reinforced ablative kevlar, with a weight approximation being somewhere in the upper part of 400 pounds. The fact that this man was even standing at all was a testament to the steel of his training and the strenght of his body...

..Or at least to dent the damn thing with just two bracers, two katana/kodachi hybrid swords, a long grey cloak, bare hands, and finally a bucketload of needles?

Look for chinks in the armor, like those that he'd see through, and stab the joints, eyes, etc... whatever you can reach.

A
s Trei stated, all armor has it's chinks. No armor is inpenatrable..Joins are the weakest parts in suits of armor because if they were highly dense it would restrict motion of the arms and legs. Now it said something about kevlar..I know a kevlar vest will not stop all calibur of bullets..

So combine the knowledge of the two. Look for the joins or weaker points..Strike with extreme force..If the person wants to argue that his quintuple reinforced ablative kevlar is still going to resist the great forces on the joins then his movement will be ridiculously rendered to much slower speeds or less extension.

Also..I looked up the word ablative..It was hard to understand how he was using the word in a description of his armor..then I saw the word also used in an explanation of the heatsheild of a spacecraft. The word means that it's a material that slowly burns away. Is there any way you could maybe apply some heat to weaken sections of the armor ?

Given the list of tools he stated, and his current powerless state, he probably won't be able to do much in terms of heat, especially not against a material that's used to protect space shuttles from heat damage.

Only other advice I can offer up is that Kevlar is layered cloth-type material. So, theoretically, you can cut through the layers if have no choice, though I wouldn't recommend it as that approach will take for-F@cking-ever

Ugh...

So in the end I have to aim for the eyes or the exposures on the face and any tiny opening to attack. And with my powers gone...

....

I have a big feeling that the opponent's going to argue that his stamina is inhuman or something, and running for hours with that much weight on won't make him even break a sweat...

Looks like I need to take the approach of hacking through the f*cking-ever layers, or run around and tire the opponent out....somehow....eventually?

...
Damn. gonk

Those are the sort of odds Deity'd like to put his Angel character up against. =O

He's a brute power character, Snow... and a heavily-armored man isn't going to have anywhere near the mobility of an unarmored fighter, so go monkey-man on the bugger; if you can avoid grappling, keep in tight and move around his attacks, so you can get around behind him and fight from within his blind spot.

Out of curiousity, what types of weapons does he use?

If you can't hurt him through cutting then try to use blunt force trauma. Unless he's wearing a helment, smash the back of his head as hard as possible with the pommel of your weapon or something to try and cave his skull in, generally speaking people usually don't get up from that.

I haven't read over your fight but unless his kevlar suit is full-body then you should be trying to disable his movement by striking at the calves, impalement through the backs of the knees, breaking his legs (strong kicks to the side of the knees work well). Muscle stops functioning once you cut/sever through 4-5inches or so of it I believe?

Blind him if you can. He could be the greatest thing since sliced bread but if he's blind he really can't do s**t and he's at your mercy for the most part unless he suddenly gains super-hearing powers/sonar.

Either that or get into a position where you can perform a neck-breaker.

Mm...The last time I went against a guy with all armor, the excuse of "Years of training and not human!" is mostly the term I hear all the time. +_+;

Apparently, he uses three swords - each made from the material itself, and talon like claws used for grabbing and tearing through flesh. o_o;

Ah yes, blunt force trauma. A lovely way to make a punch felt through hard steel...that is, if your hand doesn't bleed too in the process. These are nice tactics to use - but I'll first have to get past his guard in the first place, no? 3nodding

Sliced bread? Don't you mean toilet paper? >_>;

Full plate armor man of doom? If your character is trained in martial arts in a monk way (hopefully legitly), then beat his a** monk style. That guy could be wearing plate armor, but a monk trains his body hard enough that you either feel the blow despite your armor (like knock wind outta you) or the armor becomes damaged to the point that you lose manueverability (sp?) from wearing it. Monks' body is trained so much that punching that s**t (appropriate material) to the point of uselessness and their (appropriate) attacking body parts are just fine. I don't see pure bodybuilders breaking concrete or ice blocks atleast without ******** up their body. If anything, use own weapons against him. Grab the hand of first attacking hand weapon, use it to block the nexts hands' attack then kick him in the nuts hard. If he is wearing a cup, he will stay conscious but it still hurts like hell. Hopefully, during the 'grab attacking arm weapon thing' bit tug of war thingy, he doesn't pull a Ikibe and 'automatically win the tug of war' no matter what.
