Lilygwen Sammirah chatterbox has just turned into quite the catwalk, hasn't it? i changed my avatar's face for the first time in forever and it's kind of weirding me out, even though i like how it looks. gaia_nitemareleft I like the new look! I had to blink at the screen few times to get "who you are" since even though most of the people change their clothing and hair, the face is "recognizable" with certain style or eyes and so on. The eyes are really freaky in a good way. 3nodding gaia_angelright I had to do a double take too! I really like the new face. What did you use to get the new look?

Part of that is that eye items weren't as common as they are now back when I was initially active with Gaia. I might keep these eyes for awhile, I like them with the hair. Yeah, a few of us definitely have our own styles. I can always tell you, Humble, and Camwen.

It's from Runcible Spoon. Something I earned the cash for by doing cash offers for hours, thank you very much! 3nodding

After failing as a friend, big brother, son, and human being, I went and succeeded as an amateur chef... without fire places other than where it belonged.
I made apples in a butterscotch brandy sauce. Easy and yummy.
I took a big stick of butter, melted it in a measuring cup, and then added brown sugar to it until the butter seized up into a paste – about 3/4 cup or so. I then nuked it on high until it boiled, added heavy cream, nuked it until that boiled too. Whisked like mad. Then I poured the resulting liquid over some sliced honeycrisp apples in a fry pan, added cinnamon, five spice, and clove to taste while it boiled. Then finished with some calvados and served (took the fry pan to the counter, scooped out slices into a small bowl because eating all the sauce too would kill a man, and ate it). I put the remaining sauce in a canning jar with the idea that I can warm it and pour it over ice cream or something on another day.

I picked up some ginger liqueur today and am looking forward to seeing what I can do with it. 3nodding If I go back to the same store they also had cardamom flavour.

Next, I'm thinking of spiking some cream cheese with it, and putting it on top of some french toast.
