Camwen Ugh! It's so hard to be patient. lol What kind of character do you play? Do you beat things up with a big axe? use magic? Or are you more stealthy? Or maybe combo of things. gaia_nitemareleft I play as a mage warrior. A half elf half human race called Breton who are adept with magic. Recently I've been experimenting with an axe and it has been real fun. Usually I go with the shield&sword but the shield&axe isn't that bad either. I never use two handed weapons since I want my other hand free for either shield or spell making. In Skyrim the shield actually matters and blocking is a good skill to have. My game style varies with the opponent, but I tend to avoid straight on running in the middle of the enemy crowd, but I'm also terrible with bows and too impatient to sneak around so mage warrior with a sharp axe or sword suits me well. xp In the magic area I'm more into destructive magic and restoration but mostly I slice up my enemies with the weapon in hand. Oh and I'm hoarder too so I spend lot of time picking up locks and looking into drawers. xd gaia_angelright

I'm sure that means something to at least some of us here. Wow.. I hadn't heard that. Her books meant a lot to me over the years. In fact I think it was her Dragon books that first got me interested in reading fantasy novels. I think I read all of them.. I haven't read any of hers for many years now but I still feel like her stories are still with me.

I never can aim those arrows so unless that's changed from Oblivion I'll probably avoid bows.. dramallama gaia_nitemareleft The bows are just like in Oblivion and only thing they are good for (in my opinion) is to get the attention of a dragon flying over you. When you got it's attention, you can continue to bash it with your axe/sword/mace. xp A warrior mage Breton is an comfy but in a way challenging character to play. Weapon only warrior is bit too boring and it's annoyingly tricky to keep magic only mage alive in combat when you are going solo. I like to mix them together to spice things up. I like Nords and high elves too, but usually for the first play time I use Breton. Usually I go with maximum armor but this time I'm specializing to light armor to keep the mobility and it has brought it's own difficulty level but it's entertaining, especially since I've played Oblivion quite a lot previously. To the real world... we are still waiting our first snow. It's almost December and still no snow. The last two years were fabulous but we're back to the "normal" winters. emotion_facepalm gaia_angelright

It feels weird that I have to "work" to earn gold lately by booty grabbing...I don't have the luxury of selling cash item bundles lately because of lack of cash funds. I really don't mind though...it's something to do when I'm bored. xd

For one, internet usage in Bhutan is metered; I've prepaid for a certain amount of usage, and when that runs out I've got to haul my butt to the telecom office and refill it. (Or send my boyfriend, since he works close to there) Plus, I've got about a month left with my boyfriend before I leave Bhutan probably forever... so we're trying to spend a lot of time together. He's even been blowing off football so he can come home early. eek

It's the darn rainy weather, I'm sure of it. *shakes her fist to the sky* emotion_donotwant I tried to do some christmas shopping yesterday but I just got depressed by all the christmas carols and bright, plastic decorations in the shops... it all just felt so ... artificial. I don't know where I've lost my holiday spirit. Usually I love the christmas decorations and lights in the shopping malls... it must be the lack of snow because it doesn't feel at all like it's going to be christmas soon. *shrugs* gaia_angelright
