.. Christ, I feel awesome? And horrible at the same time.
Awesome because I got to use Fist of the North Star's Tenryuu Kokyuuho on someone.
Horrible because I just took two little kids roleplaying in Barton Town as "gangsters on the streets", grabbed their souls, ripped them apart, and scarred their minds forever.

Technically, it's not a few days of life permamently lost. It's more like a few years at least for each appearance of his "Alter Ego", depending on the condition Snow is in. gonk Though Snow draws power from the demonic blood within himself, he has to also pay the price of drawing the powers out by losing his "Self", or, his own conscious and body if you would like to put it that way.
The external stress and the internal conflict then applied to Snow's body becomes unstable and erratic, causing a physical breakdown on his injuries. As the "Alter" side of him wishes to rip the shell apart in order to live as a full, complete demon, the human shell - Snow - tries to keep the body intact at all costs.
After all, it is his life that we're talking about.
So in exchange for power, Snow sacrifices his lifespan to obtain the powers he needs to prove to himself. And with the Unnamed who now sealed the demonic blood inside Snow during the last match, it also meant a total nullification on Snow's ability to withdraw the power from the blood inside him.
Now that he's completely mortal and unable to use magic...*working out that problem*...who here is up for a spar, the physical way? emo
Unless someone wishes to awaken the demon inside Snow...>.>;

No, not really. Depending on circumstances history can be rewritten at the time of the fight, either by time travel and intervention or whatever, to cause a different outcome of the same type to prevent paradox. Perhaps delaying your character so he misses the start of his match or convincing him that attending the fight is a bad idea.

Just a question. In all the time symmetries I've read, or something similar to that field, they never really answered the problem of Paradox. If I go back in time for example and kill my father...would the point where I kill my grandfather be immediately nullified at the point where I try to kill? Because if my grandfather does not exist, then I would not exist as well. But if I don't exist, how do I kill my father then?
Either the Paradox creates a self-sustaining image of a body that comes from an "Alternate" future, or it immediately nulls it at the point of contact, therefore halting the ability that would create a paradox in the beginning.
..

When dealing with a paradox it is usually easiest to avoid disruptions in the timeline by leaping over the timespace distortion wave created by the temporal incursion. Like ripples in a pond alterations in time expand outward from their point of origin in spacetime. If you aren't caught in the distortion then you are unaffected by the paradox, but everyone else with connections to the altered subject matter would be altered without similar protections. If you cease to exist and then just show up again, no one would know you because you have no real identity.
Erasing the events of the fight is better sooner rather than later because fewer incursions will result. The further back something is changed the greater the reprocussions of the temporal incursion can be. If I stop myself from dropping my soda ten minutes ago it doesn't change too much, for example.

B ut what if it's cherry cream soda !? Then after ten minutes to set in it stains the ******** carpet! By not dropping the soda it saves you time (cleaning) and money(carpetcleaner)..and possible back aches. xD
On a more relevant note..hmm..we should have 21 fighters left for this finals branch..that means some lucky b*****d is gonna get a Bye. D<
