Well...it seemed that at some point, they had all made the decision hadn't they? Which she supposed was a good thing, least they sit around arguing all day and never deciding anything. Zahara made it pretty cut and dry as well as she laid out how things were going to go. "I at least think it's fair enough to give it a try..." After all, technically wasn't this the baby they would have had if nature was never messed with in the first place? That and Piper was a stubborn woman. Nodding though as the ultimatum was given: Behave or Lose Out.
"Some people are just heartless I guess." That was all he was going to say on his parents, because frankly he didn't know the answer to that question. Yes, people did bad things but that didn't mean they were hopeless. His father was a fine example of that, what with all the horrors he had been involved in and yet he found his mother, whom he loved and cared for like no other. He chuckled quietly, "No, it doesn't. You can tell me no to whatever you want however many times you want. And you don't have to live here...but you know I don't want you going back to Vesendar. At least not until I know you'll be safe. Like my dad said, if you don't want to be here, he can find someplace else for you to stay."

A slight nod though.
"Agreed then. we'll see how this progresses and do what needs be done. and feel free to transfer as much as you need as often as you need. I won't object."

She wasn't even going to dignify Malik with a response. He really thought he could handle the energy drain? Well, they'd just see about that. It was no secret that she was angry though, and gave a curt nod to both then got up and left the table completely. Ignoring whatever other duties might need her attention, she headed outside and began to stalk around the property, muttering to herself under her breath, until she got the bright idea to stalk one of the serfs working outside. The humans were so easy to torture and with a bit of magic, she could annoy him without letting on who was doing it.
"That's good. I still like knowing I have some control." She did know exactly how he felt about Vesendar and didn't want to push that particular nerve too far. Besides, she wasn't so sure she really wanted to go back anymore herself. Maybe once or twice to ask a few questions and get some answers but she likely wasn't going to hear what she wanted to anyway. "I think I'd like to stay here. You're supposed to want to be with the one you love, right?" Then sighing softly before grinning. "I just realized something, Malikhai. I think I love painting, too."

They were still bickering to an extent and that made her huff out a breath but Zahara had a flare for ending arguments and she went about just doing that. Piper supposed that that ended well. Turning a look to Malik, she watching him a moment before giving a blink, letting her hands fiddle with her collar, "Are you sure you want to do this?"
"You have all the control you want." Save doing stupid stuff that she knew better not to do. "Right, and you know it's perfectly fine if you want to stay here. Make a room all your own and what not." Chuckling again, "I would indeed say you love painting. It always makes you happy. Speaking of which...we can indeed get you a new set if we can't get your other."
What was she doing? And why was she making his round harder by tormenting people. He knew she was agitated but he wasn't quite sure why, just that she had been concerned lately. Now, she was exuding pissed mist.

Zahara laughed quietly as once again the young male serf sprawled in the dirt. And just like last time, he picked himself up, brushed himself off and looked around. He'd spend the next five minutes paranoid and then he'd settle into his work once more. Until his tools went missing. She giggled again as his hammer appeared behind just in time for him to trip right over it and then it disappeared entirely when he went to see what it was he'd nearly fallen on.
"Would you object to me staying in yours? If you would, that's okay since I'm pretty sure I could make my own room. I just don't want to impose." Yes, painting did make her happy and she'd gotten slightly better since that time in Andal. "It wouldn't be the same. No, we'll go get my other one but we'll wait for the right time. Since you don't want me seeing my parents again, we'll just check every once in a while."

"I think you should have your own room. We both need our own spaces from time to time. Besides, got to have your stuff somewhere my brother won't mess with it. He still breaks into my room and moves my stuff. One day he moved all my furniture three inches to the left." Rolling his eyes at that notion, but it was important that she had her own space to do what she pleased with. "Your old one then. No worries, you'll get it back sooner than you think. I'll take care of it."
Okay, so he was amused as he watched, he'd admit that. But at the same time, he was in charge of making sure things ran smoothly and she was making it unsmooth. Wandering over to her, he tapped her on the shoulder. "Must you torment the serfs? You know they complain to me, right?"

She'd obviously gotten a bit too caught up in what she was doing because she didn't even realize Sevilin was behind her until it was too late. Jumping in shock, she turned around and scowled at him. "Yes, you won't let me torture you and I feel like taking it on someone or something. He just happened to be the unlucky one." Using her magic to give him one last push into a face full of dirt.
Well, that made sense. "You'll have to show me what my choices are. I don't want to upset anyone by picking a room that is supposed to be used for someone else or something else." She was assuming there was already furniture in the room but just in case, she might have to do some quick searching and find one for cheap. She had a bit of steel saved up. "You will? Not without me you won't."

Malik took her hands, and gave them both a small kiss.
"Yes, I'm sure. You want this child, and I want you to have this child. I'll do what it takes to try and make that happen. not saying that there isn't a chance, and probably a decent one, that this won't carry though. But I'll do everything I can to see that it get the best chance possible."
before giving a slight smirk.
"I wonder what your parents would say at this news. Piper pregnant for the third time."

“If you say so.” She was honestly still trying to figure out how smart it was to tell them the truth and not just keep living with the issue all on her own. Granted…if she got worse then they would be even more upset later. But people were upset now too. Piper just couldn’t win with this. Shaking her head lightly, “They’re probably going to want to strangle you.”
“Don’t scowl at me, I didn’t do anything to upset you.” Sighing as she continued to torment and distract before her grabbed her by the back of her top and dragged her off in childish fashion. “Why can’t you just throw plates at the wall? You like to do that and we can always buy new ones.”
“Easy enough, we’ve got plenty of rooms after all.” Well, this was looking up wasn’t it? Yes indeed it was. Granted now he had to boggle over what his dad had been trying to tell him earlier that he wasn’t paying attention to. “In all honesty, my dad probably won’t let me go either so someone else will be doing it. We’ll get to sit around and wait.”

"What are you doing?! Sevilin!" She tried to fight him off but he was stronger and he knew it, too. "Because someone has to physically suffer for this and if Malik's going to be a selfish a**, then I damn well want it to affect him!" Harnessing her power and then reaching up to shock his so he'd let her go.
Malik D'vinn had all sorts of people at his disposal, didn't he? "Who do you think he'll send? My parents would rip a human into pieces and most elves, too." Chewing on her bottom lip. "I don't want anyone to die over a paint set, Malikhai. Maybe it would be better if I went to get it myself...."

A slight smirk at his wife.
"Now you heard the woman, lets get a full meal into you."
taking her to the kitchen, before writing a short note to be delivered about piper's condition, nothing fancy, more like a 'Piper's pregnant again' message, before having a meal prepared for his wife.

"Malik. We've been through this. We got a letter eventually, we got a letter later about them coming around. I just sent a response to that one before you did. Would you let it go already?" Shaking her head...did not have the energy to referee anyone right now. Getting herself up and letting him lead her onward to food, plopping down and poking at the food that came shortly after. "My mother is going to faint."
It was easy enough to snatch her by the wrist before she shocked him. When she was all heated, her moves were always easy to see coming. "What is this and why are you like a hell cat in boiling water?" Thus came the part where he more or less picked her up and levered her over his shoulder, continuing in his own routes that he used when he made his rounds on the place. "Ever think that when you effect him, you effect me? And if you ever want me home at an appropriate time, I'd quit that if I were you."
"Probably one of his scary things." Shrugging lightly and sighing, trying to not get the let me band my head against the wall feeling. "And you going and getting hurt or dying is any better than someone else you don't even know? Stop worrying about other people and start worrying about yourself for a while."

And now came the part where her a** was visible to any and all who might want to see it. She cursed her own stupidity and attempted once again to get him to put her down. "Piper's pregnant!" Pushing at his shoulder and squirming. "And that b*****d is letting her keep it!" Nope, she hadn't thought of such things but eventually, she leaned one elbow on his shoulder and rested her chin in his hand. "If I promise to behave, will you put me down?"
"Well...no, that's not what I meant. Just that I have a better idea of where they might be and when they might be out and how to avoid them. But if you really think your father can handle such a thing then I'll trust you and let it go. I can't help the way I feel about others, Malikhai..."

"Come on, eat. you need a full meal, remember? Zahara's orders. and I don't think she'll faint. she'll probably be here about...three minutes after she finds out."

"Not to sound mean...but I really don't want them around for this...that's why I told them not to drop by when you wanted them to." Why did he have to go and spread the word like it was good news or something? "And if you poke me again, I'll stab you with this fork." Taking to eating, even if she didn't want to because those were the apparent rules. Crap, she wasn't even going to be able to lounge around in her solarium anymore. "I don't get to go to tournament either, do I?"
"Is she now? That surface thing just gets more and more interesting with each passing decade." Of course he knew what it meant but he wasn't going to have a Nightmare over it or anything like Zahara was trying to do. But she was a healer by nature, going against health usually pissed her off. "And you wanted to keep Orresith." That was all he had to say on that matter though, didn't like to talk about it too much but it was relevant. "No, I won't put you down. Because I know that trick. You won't behave."
"It doesn't matter if they're home and what not. It's not about avoiding them and letting them think that they're better than everyone else and can scare anyone they want. But yes, I think he's fine. And you're allowed to worry about other people but you have to worry about yourself too."
