Cyrith just fell in suit, following the girl in front of him. Make that woman. She demanded respect, and you could see it. Wouldn't do to make anyone mad. Besides, he had no idea where he was, other than the compound, and he didn't want to get lo....directionally misplaced.

Eva let Tech carry on for a minute before letting her glider carry her up and into the air. The feeling was exhiliarating and the glider required a lot of strength to handle, but she didn't need that long. She swooped in a tight arc around the stern of the far ship, aiming a burst of concentrated shots at the mainsail as she passed by. The last shot punched clean through, leaving a long scorch mark on the deck. Immeadiately, she threw her whole body into the tightest turn she could manage and dove for the top of the mast, pulling up at the lat possible second and planting her feet on the sail before pushing off. It tilted to the side and slowly, gracefully toppled into the next mast, tearing a huge gash into the solar sail cloth. Eva dropped like a stone to avoid newly concentrated fire from the men on deck, She circled directly below the ship, giving their potshots a very poor angle. After a few minutes, the shots petered out as the naval crew became awar of a much greater issue: The ship was listing dangerously to the stern.

Eva returned to the Archduke in time for the ship to fall out of the sky, spiraling as the still working jets to the stem fired uselessly. She watched the ship fall with a grim look on her face. The other ship wasn't backing off, depite losing her support and anything that gave her a fighting chance against Tech. She was deeply unsettled by this. She switched on her radio. "Tech, finish her off. I have a feeling that s**t's about to go down." She turned and began scaling the rigging, drawing stares from the pirates milling about on deck, checking out the holes in her glider's wings. She hadn't even climbed halfway up when she saw what she'd been expecting: the topsails of four more warships rearing out of the clouds. They were still a good forty-five minutes away, but these numbers were still too concentrated for a bunch of metal ores. She spoke into her radio again. "Katsu, get up here as well." She climbed off the rope ladder, and strode towards the helm. "Captain! We need to chat."

Azora let a short response back getting up and brushing for the dust that collected on her cloths. "Hope I can trust you first mate, by the way if I find one ore missing, I'll come hunt you down..." she took out a silver key and locked the titanium reinforced wooden doors and ran towards the stairs, stopping first to grab one more weapon. With their current speed, the wind would knock away her bullets, and whats worse is that they probably wouldn't even do much if they hit at all. She had been sneaking around and she found this room, Eva didn't mention it but it had swords, daggers, bombs, cannon balls and big guns that fire miniature missiles. She grabbed one, only realizing now how heavy it was and strapped two daggers to her calves.

She dragged the loaded gun up to the deck, she was so glad she didn't have to run. She even made sure to put a couple of the mini missiles into an extra pouch on her belt. Azora felt extremely well equipped, as she opened the hatch, a rush of wind blasting into her face. She gave one last heave and lifted the gun onto the deck. If she got out of this alive, she was going to improve her arm power.....

Brian grinned, and pressed the Skiff into a curve and rapid descend. The Librarian mastered that perfectly, and opened the plastic shielding above the head, to get a free shooting device. Brian leaned foreward, and closed the wings of the skiff.
Now, the thing basically was dropping like a real stone, while it darted over the edge of the slowly turning over battleship, as the Librarian readied his gun. brian broke through a hole, and now he was under the turning battleship. He grinned, and maintaining the radio silence as much as possible, he switched to the librarian, as he swooped away frpom the hole in the side of the battleship. He grinned, as the computer showed him what part of the ship they were aiming at.

The Librarian fired. Brian knew that the image was wrong, but thanks to burning phosphorous patrons that where in every seventh shot the Gathling of the librarian fired, it seemed like the Librarian was pissing fire.

He grinned, as he sailed on, and the innermost of the ship collapsed, and burned bright before it exploded. Brian made sure that he had a full coverage of the explosion, with every instrument feed he had.
Then, he switched to auto pilot, and adressed his computer. He put them together, piece by piece. He felt how his back got very hot, and he really hoped that he would not need any medical service after all.
The HUD blinked, and he grinned. He utilized his keyboard on one arm, and grinned as he viewed the results

The largest explosions had been , as far as the Computer calculated, caused by the direct shotings of the bullets in thefuel-carrying lines. the fuel created warmth, and needed big spaces. And with the ultrasound device.....

He reprogrammed the flow of Data, and he saw where the other battleship had its tank. where all the fuel was stored. And it was behind less plates then he thought it would be.

"Tech, here, Miss captain. Any idea as to what i shall do about these four huge ******** that just appeared out of nowhere? how much force may I use?"

"Tech, back to the Archduke. This picture is wrong. The ores are valuable, sure, but not valuable enough to put out such a large concentration of warships that we've already encountered six. They won't try to sink us if what these pirates have really is that valuable. We need to regroup though, and figure out who exactly has been lying to us." She said all this into her radio, but loud enough to include everyone around her in the conversation, including the Captain, Azora, and the first mate, who had joined them on deck. He seemed more composed than usual. Eva realized that was because he was no longer playing with his pendant. He was no longer even displaying it, having tucked it neatly away in his shirt. He still looked faintly green, though, and kept glancing fretfully at the four ships growing gradually nearer.

"Captain suntzu, I'd watch myself before making acusations. We've paid well for your services, and have been honest. The only things of value we're carrying are the ores." Eva gave a derisive snort.
"Yeah, honor among thieves and all that. Well then you've got something you don't know about, because there's no reason to send the whole damn armada after the Archduke if what I know is the whole truth!"

Brian shrugged , and aborted his course of attack. He spread his skiffs wings, and rode on the accumulated acceleration back to the ship. He lacked a bit in landing experience, so he was not terrily sure what to do except to fly on the side of the ship, and to refuel and reload, using his solar panneled wings, and a previous installment of his. as he pressed the button on the remote, the helium flew in the ballon, and he went straight up. The Librarian brought him in with a crooked stick, and begann pulling up the line, which was strongly tied to the second dufflebag, which was filled with all kinds of explosives, good things, an his mobile kits.

He grinned, as the Librarian heaved the bag in, and closed the plexiglass cockpit-window for him.
He smiled, and removed the contents from the bag. fresh ammo for the librarian, more grenades, .....

He grinned, and pressed the sent button for the intercom, which sprang to life nearly at once.

"Tech to archduke: I have restocked my supplies. I can be active in no time, but I prefer staying in midair. I mean, seriously better tactically speaking. So, why are they shipping the fun to us, captain?"

He leaned back, and opened a bottle of mountain dew, which he shared with the Librarian.

Azora walked over to Eva, she still held onto the gun and was getting used to the weight. "If the ores are not the only thing they're after, what else could it be?" the wind whipped up her hair, and she suddenly had a sneaking suspicion that it was a whom they were after. She could hear Tech landing on the deck heavily, it sounded as if he had gained 50 pounds....

Xinrie nodded. "Right then well Cyrith Gene, please follow me and Ike." She stood with a light smile, Ike followed suit, allowing his ashen grey wings to twitter slightly and stretch themselves out. Stlaker motioned for thw three to follow her, before setting off for the main hall.

ooc: Shin I shall take yee off of the MIA list as soon as you post sumtin' xD

With a nod, Gene let everyone fall in line and then went at the back of the group. Whenever he was with a group, he'd end up serving as the rear guard; mostly because of his hawk familiar and his psicrystal, which allowed him to see behind them without having to turn his head.

But first, before getting out of the Mess Hall, he'd ask outloud so that the captain would hear and so would the others in case they were in a similar dilemma. "Hey, uh, Captain... when I came in here, I kinda had to put all my weapons away and even some of my gear for security measures and all that, and I was wondering if we are gonna go get our weapons before we teleport anywhere? Or are they gonna teleport us our weaponry once we get there?"

Surely the Captain had many things in her mind, and it would be a pitty if she had forgotten that one particular detail, specially with where they were probably headed. Not that Gene needed his weaponry, but it sure as hell would've been best if he had it on him than not.

"One of the crew must have stolen something," said the first mate, surprising everyone present. He shrugged apologetically once everyone had turned to look at him. His hand shot automatically towards his pendant, withdrawing once he remembered that it was tucked away inside his shirt. Eva's eyes narrowed.

"Clam down, mate, we'll sort this out. Captain, would it have been posible for a little extra thievery to occur?"

"Not of anything this valuable, we just took the ores and left. We weren't even in that important a place, it was just a big mine."
"So whoever has the object of value had it before the ore heist. Was there any change in the crew near the time of said robbery?" The captain shook his head mutely, but the First Mate gave a little hiccup of surprise, and the captain rounded on him, his seemingly iron nerve finally cracking.
"For god's sake Henry, pull it together! You've been like this all week, but this is not the time for fallinf apart!"

"PPfff, Henry?" Azora suppressed her giggle and then coughed, as some of them were staring at her like she was off her rocker. "So if not the crew members, then do you think that someone might have set it up to frame them?" she asked, it was highly possible, but she still have her money on Henry, pppffff, Henry....

The first mate glanced over his shoulder, as though not entirely sure who was being addressed, before a realization seemed to dawn on him. "Sorry, captain." Eva narrowed her eyes, and then it finally clicked. She gave a theatrical sigh of exasperation.

"Henry, this has been frustrating me all the voyage. Katsu, if you insist on flirting with out clients, please do a better job of it. It's embarassing. And if you want to see his pendant so damn badly, for god's sake just ask."
PostPosted: Mon Oct 08, 2007 6:00 pm

"I don't want to see his pendant, and I am not flirting who gave you that idea? I just happen to find that Henry is a weird name thats all," Azora stated plainly, she wasn't in to guys... or girls for that matter. She could care less about looks anyway, she was blind for heaven sake why doesn't anyone understand that? And was everyone thinking that she was in love with a guy who can't hold his guts in on a ship?

Eva rolled her eyes. "Way to play along. Now I'll have to explain to Ryanna why I assaulted one of our patrons." with that brief introduction, she lunged at the first mate, tackling him around the middle and pinning him to the deck while she reached into his shirt for the pendant. She grinned wryly when she finally saw it in daylight, and stood up to hold it aloft, ignoring the first mate's protesting weight.

"This, as I'm sure the captain recognizes, is a wax sealing ring. Perhaps one of the most valuable ones in existence at this time, as it bears the crest of the royal family of Gilead. See, the leaves and pills? Family born from doctors, rose to power and wealth over generations of disputable ethical yet extremely lucretive busine choices? Nobody reads other worlds' history books anymore. Anyway, Henry here is your-"

"nnnt Hgnry" came a gurgle from behind Eva, and she noticed that she'd been choking him slightly. She released the necklace and the first mate fell back, massaging his throat. "I'm not Henry. I just...just happen to look a lot like him." He looked around at the disbelieving crew. "What!? It was a boyhood fantasy! Who doesn't want to be a pirate?"
