Seth freezes in place and looks back at Ruby then at the mess she is making... "Your cleaning that mess up..." says as he tunrs around and walks towards her "What is it you want to tell me?"

Artemis trudged into the HQ, soaking wet from the rain. "I left to get AWAY from the rain..." she muttered as she squeezed her hair out, right onto the floor of the kitchen. "Oops!" She exclaimed, putting her hand up to her mouth. "I'm sorry Ruby! Be a dear and clean that up for me! I owe you one!" She grinned wickedly and walked out of the room laughing.

((So Ruby ain't got reason to complain when I come back...))

On the frigde, held by the green apple magnet, was a note, and read as follows:

"Hey everyone. I'm sorry about the timing on this, but by the time any of you'll read this, I'll be long gone. There's some things I just have to do, and some things I can't do. The problem is, the things I can't do are in Haven, and the things I have to do are on the Mainland.
I'll return as quickly as I can, but that could, for all I know, be years, assuming I do come back. You know, the whole plant-zombie thing that's going on and all.... Anyways, I got some things to tell a few people:

Seth: Try not to run the HQ into the ground while I'm gone. Don't break the TV or the stereo, or so help me, I'll excorcise yer a**.
Erica (despite her not being of our affiliation, I'm sure one of you can get this to her): Get outa whatever funk you've been in since you gone done and got preggo. You've been actin' right proper depressed since then, and you needa cut it out.

Ruby: I'm sorry I'm leavin you like this, darling. As I said, I don't know when I'll come back, if ever, so don't stay tied down to me. Get out and go boff a couple'a people.

That's it. And for the love of god, don't none of yeh go into my room!"

Ruby sighed, "nah, Seth, don't bother I can take care of the water. I'm down here anyways." She started cleaning the rest up, but paused as Seth handed her the note. She read it over with a straight face. She stood up, taking the note with her, and leaving the rest of the water on the floor.

Ruby shut herself in her room. She ignored the dissaray of the bed and broken glass, and pulled out a large shoe box. She started putting things in it. Like the note, a feather necklace, and some pictures. She closed it up and stuck it back under her bed. Then finally after a moment she let herself cry.

((Sorry, slow on the uptake over here))

Hanging from the ceiling in Ruby's room was a collection of dozens of white feathers, woven into the shape of a heart. In the middle of it was a large ruby, the words "In Rememberance" carved into the front of it.

The West HQ started shaking, slowly at first. Within minutes the lower levels were vibrating so fast they were giving off a high pitched noise. The supports couldn't take it anymore, and practically turned to dust, the building collapsing into itself.
