Not seeing anything interesting, Train decided to go through Mt. Moon, back to Pewter. Her and Pikachu walked out of Cerulean, and down the path to the huge tunnel.
They saw the Mt. long before they were there. Train stopped at the top of a hill to look at how far it went. "Kinda cool, huh, Pikachu?" She said to the little mouse pokemon, who nodded, and said, "Pika!"
Train almost stopped at the PokeCenter just ouside the cave, but changed her mind, and walked in. It wasn't completly dark...yet.

"Hm..." Kurine pretended to think really hard. "Well, Chikorita's good, because it's adorable, and grass pokemon can be really powerful, with sharp leaves and vines and all."
"But Totodile's cool, too, because, I mean, water types are awsome! And look at that cute little dance! Though sometimes it seems like it has to go to the bathroom...ha."
"I think I'll take Cyndaquil, though. Fire pokemon are cool! Cyndaquil's really cute, and it evolves into Typhlosion eventually! Which rules! And fire attacks are just, like, awsome! I mean, you know how fires just spread and spread, as long as there's something to burn? And sometimes even water can't stop it, which is really cool, though bad, too!" Kurine stopped when she realized she was rambling.
"Anyway, so yeah...Cyndaquil, please."

Keegan decided against saying anything to the boy as he issued his challenge, instead he stood back to watch, keeping his comments to himself. He found himself to be quite impressed by Shocker's display of power, and not once did he doubt that the duo would be able to pull off a quick win. At one point during the battle, he'd tried to peek over Maven's shoulder at the drawing she was working on, but the brunette was very good at keeping her work to herself. Keegen ended up being content at just watching Kasiya, and the close bond she shared with Shocker as he drank the last of his coffee. Once the losing trainer had stopped talking, Keegan approached her, stealing a glance down at the business card in her hands. It wouldn't be long before he too would be challenging Norman in the Petalburg gym. "Do we need to go back to the Pokemon Center?" he asked, directing the question more at Shocker than Kasiya. While the blonde girl was the Raichu's trainer, he figured Shocker would be a pretty good judge of how tired and sore she may have been feeling. "We should grab that breakfast and get a move on," he added, tapping his foot on the concrete.

Aska's Twister hit both the hiker's Graveler and his Machop, causing both Pokemon to stagger back a few steps as they were buffeted by strong gusts of wind and debris kicked up from the ground. Lily felt a bit of her stamina returning from the effects of her Leech Seed, and she readied herself as the Graveler began to roll forward again for another pass at its Rollout attack. The Bulbasaur closed her eyes, grunting from the impact and retaliated with a sharp Vine Whip at Miharu's command. The attack itself wasn't very damaging, as Graveler's hide proved to be rather thick and resiliant, but the force of it caused the rolling rock Pokemon to go off course a bit, and it had to stop itself in order to keep from colliding with a nearby tree.
Next Miharu told Aska to whip up another Gust, and the small Pidgey complied, flapping her wings rapidly to create a miniature tornado that she sent towards the Machop. Both Pokemon and trainer were prepared, and at the hiker's command, Machop leapt nimbly to the side, and retaliated with a Leer that made Aska shudder so badly she was forced to land. Tiny, frightened chirps escaped her beak as she watched the Machop advance towards her, its arm raised up, ready to strike.

Maven looked over at Keegan. She couldn't help but think he was a very handsome young man. She smiled at him as she threw on her backpack. was he trying to look at my drawings earlier? She thought to herself as she reached up and gently scratched Phyra's ears to indicate which way to move.
Maven walked up to Kasiya and put out her hand in a way to congratulate this girl. Phyra made her flames go out further but with out the heat and put her head down in her own way to congratulate the trainer.
"Well done Kasiya." Maven smiled shyly at the other girl. She saw her cousin always congratulate other trainers. "You have quite the strong bond with your Raichu, for she's beautiful as well."

As his copy disappeared Z began wondering how he was going to wake up. This was the first time he had ever had a lucid dream in which he could not control what he was dreaming about. Suddenly the world around him shattered and he awoke.
Meanwhile in Lyn's dream . . .
"So you want to join me on on my journey?" Lyn said still feeling a bit akward in the wierd dreamscape. "Yes. Not only will that mean I will get to taste your dreams but new exciting people from all over the world as well! Plus I wanna help you with your emotional issues." Pepper the drowzee said as she continued to eat little swirls of the dream around her. "I guess theres no reason you can't come as long as Rusl does not mind. In fact it would be nice to have a second pokemon like everyone else." Lyn said thinking that she would finnaly be able to do double battles without having to team up with someone. Plus a drowzee fit her style nicely. With it's good defense and ability to disable, confuse and hypnotise the oponent it would be a great addition to her team.

"I don't think he would mind that much as long as he knows that it is to further my abilities as a chef." Pepper said between bites of dream. "WEll welcome to the team then. Just remember not to bother me when I am resting and not to be to loud and I think we will get along fine." Lyn said from her rock pedastal/stainless steel chair. "Oh and I think I'm rested aenough now. Can you wake me up?" She added when she remembered that dinner would be ready soon. "Very well." Pepper said waving her arm. Suddenly the Rocketship/Volcano lair began to melt around the arm and swirled towards her hand as if it was the drain. When all there was left was the two of them and black space. The liquid that ha dbeen the dreamscape solidified into a single gum ball which Pepper promptly snorted. At that moment the area faded away and she woke up in the restraunt. She looked over to see Z waking up as well. Then she looked over to her right to see Pepper standing over her.

"Crobat use Fly!" Derik ordered from his side. Apparently he needed to buy a little time so that he could think of a strategy now that he couldn't switch. The large bat pokemon flapped it's four wing's and took off high into the air.
While Derik was biding his time Dante wasn't going to just let this go to waste. "Apollo use Sunny Day." All way's ready to do anything Apollo braced himself again and gathering up a large amount of his inner fire he launched a huge fire ball up into the air. As soon as it got high enough the whole room seemed to heat up a few degree's. That done Apollo and Dante both turned a wary eye to the Crobat that was flying above them. So it wasn't to much of a surprise for them when the flying pokemon suddenly dived on them. "Apollo try to escape with Agility!" Apollo only got to take a few step's forward in order to escape when the also speedy Crobat came crashing down. The attack didn't do to much damage seeing as Apollo had started dodging but it did enough to cause Apollo to stumble slightly.
Gaining his footing again Apollo took off across the arena his added speed aiding in his dash. "Crobat use Astonish!" Giving a screech the Crobat suddenly started doing loop-de-loop's towards Apollo.
"Apollo try to ignore it turn around to use Fire Blast!" While normally the Crobat was way faster then Apollo, the earlier Agility boost put them on the same page now. Plus it didn't help that Astonish was a pretty weird attack. Turning sharply and stopping in his place Apollo let out a blast of flame's right in the Crobat's face. With the boost from the earlier Sunny Day, and the exhaustion from it's evolution the Crobat fell down to the ground whipped out.
Seeing that the battle was over Missie made the announcement which caused the crowd to erupt in cheer's. The battle now over Dante recalled Apollo and turned to see Leon standing there with two bag's of gold. "Here you are! The winning's from your match and the winning's from your bet earlier. You did a good job. Though you did luck out on Derik's Crobat evolving, his last pokemon is a beast to get past." Leon said good naturedly as he clapped Dante hard on the back. "Oh well at least he get's a prize for a pokemon evolution."
Looking up from the bag's in his hand Dante stared at him for a moment. "There is a prize if your Pokemon evolves?"
"Well sure, look I will explain it later. I am up now, so go heal your pokemon and I will be back." That being said he pushed Dante out of the arena and into the back hall's. DANTE'S COIN'S 4,168/9,999

Kasiya had been watching Maven's Ponyta intently, as the healthy display of flames had caught her eye. She blinked when she realized that Maven was speaking to her, and she snapped out of her daydream and grinned. "Thanks," she said, as she reached up to rub Shocker's yellow cheek. "She was the first Pokemon I ever captured," she added, smiling at the memory. "Not that she really put up a fight then." Shocker scoffed a little, and folded her arms, even though it was true. She really only had been interested in what the human and her Eevee had been having for lunch, she hadn't actually wanted to fight. She didn't regret it though, not even when times were their toughest.
Kasiya tucked the Petalburg Gym card in her vest pocket, and nodded to Keegan. "Let's go eat," she said, patting her stomach. "All that battling has made me hungry, although before we face my dad again, I do want to get you healed up at the Pokemon Center in Vermilion," the girl giggled, poking Shocker's tummy. The Raichu nodded, not having any objections to the idea. Kasiya decided then to lead the way, and she made sure everything was in order as she began to scope out somewhere they could have breakfast.

Train trudged along the cave. The wild pokemon seemed to be leaving her alone just to try and scare her. Finally, she came upon a ladder.
She jumped down into the blackness of the dark. Train looked around, her eyes adjusting, but still only being able to make out faint blobs in the dark. Pikachu released some sparks to try and give some light. Something moved that wasn't Pikachu or Train.
"Hey! Who's there?" Train called out, her voice echoing. She could see the shape moving toward her. It bumped into her and she almost screamed. "Hmm-" She mumbled scaredly, as Pikachu sent a shock of lighting at the thing. A Geodude was shown in front of her by the lighting.
"Geo!" It said angrily at Pikachu. "Pikachu, we can't battle it in the dark! We'll have to lure it back up the ladder!" Train said, picking up Pikachu and starting to climb.

Professor Elm had only laughed and handed Kurine a pokeball. "Here, you'll need this to keep Cyndaquil in sometimes." He had said, and sent her on her way.
Kurine had stopped by her house, Cyndaquil in his pokeball now. She snuck up on her mom and tackle-hugged her, almost knocking them both down. "Don't do that!" Her mom exclaimed, only a bit angrily. Kurine laughed and said, "Mom, I got a Cyndaquil!" Even though she knew her mom had most likely known the whole time.
"That's great, Kurine!" Her mom said happily, noting the pokeball on her belt. "Hold on a sec." Kurine's mom said, hurrying off for a moment, the returning with a new backpack in her hand. "This is for you," She said, handing the backpack to Kurine and continuing, "Professor Elm and I both thought you were ready to start your pokemon journey, so I got you this. Inside are five more pokeballs, two potions, a PokeDex, PokeNav, an Andtidote, and a train ticket." She said, taking a breath afterwords.
"Wow, mom! You didn't have to get me all that stuff!" Kurine cried happily, giving her mom another hug. They both said goodbye, registering each others numbers, and Kurine stepped out of the house, heading for the path to start her adventure.

Brock hadn't quite expected his opponent to magnatize the ground and then use it to throw some rocks his way. But he had a plan. "Use Rock Tomb in front of you to block the rocks!" Brock commanded as Larvitar complied. She swiftly shoved her hands back into the ground as if it were water and then several spires of rock jutted out in front of her blocking all the damage. "Phew, that was a close one." Brock sighed to himself as the two prepared for whatever would come next.

Kaji had wished that he could lift bigger rocks but, his Pikachu was way to young for that yet. "Damn it..." he said to himself. "Pika!" Rei said with a smile. "You think so? Okay, do it!" he said to Rei and with that she complied Rei's body was sparking with excitement. She smiled and ran as fast as she could towards Larvitar and then strafed to the left, running in circles around her foe and in doing so, gathered rock from the ground on her hands. The strategy of the attack was a more powerful punch using the rocks hardness and quickly attack her foe continuously strike and return to the spin, strike and return.

Larvitar faught back against each blow in her own attempt at fist fighting but it wasn't very successful in blocking the damage. But luckily her high defense took out most of the bite but it was still starting to take it's toll on the small rock. "Hit it with a Rock Tomb!" Brock shouted once the two had seperated momentarily. Once more Larvitar slammed her fists into the ground to make the prison her foe would, hopefully, entangled in soon.

The plan might have worked had Rei not had rock accumulated on her fists. The reason being it allowed her to easily dispatch the stone pillar, this of course made the rock gloves a bit weaker but, never the less Rei just seemed to mend them back with more rock. The plan seemed to be going off without a hitch, hopefully it would continue. The Pokemon magnetized nearby rock and dust and aimed it at larvitar's eyes. "Go for it Rei!" Rei smirked and rushed to get back behind larvitar once more. Which it did. Once in this position she aimed to kick larvitar into the air
