'You would not have brought her here if she wasn't"
He pointed out to Raven in a friendly manner.
He smiled at Morgana as she asked her question and nodded.
"Until my dear daughter gets sick of me, anyway"
Whilst Alexis went pale, he acted, putting a bathtowel on the ground, before making her sit on it, least she fall into the bath. It was followed with a glass of water.
"I'm getting your mother, Mistress"
He had no idea what to do, but knew that this wasn't normal and knew this needed the help of her family and a doctor. He also knew that her mother was saner than her father.
He smiled assuringly back at her as he reached the door.
"and your father, of course"
He hadn't forgotten that she loved her father dearly and would go to him before going to anyone else.

Alexis clasped the water glass, feeling a burning of tears in her eyes. Did the fall make her loose the baby? She didn't know as she sat there, appearing stunned and pale and she wanted to curl up.
She didn't say anything to Andras. Just nodded and sat there.
Raven frowned at him. Alexis was here because she was here, not that she had a choice in bringing the girl here.
Morgana nodded and smiled. "So your daughter owns this place?"
She looked confused about that.
Raven shook her head. "No Alexis doesn't own this place...she too just lives here."

He would have ignored her if she had commanded him to stay. Medical emergencies over-rode his teachings in obedience.
It didn't take him long to find Raven, who was after all, on the staircase.
"Ma'am.. the Mistress.. she's bleeding"
The words came out in bursts and he went appropriately red as he got to the bleeding part.
He shrugged innocently at Raven's frown, guessing he probably deserved the frown, though unsure why she did, before tilting his head in agreement with Raven.
"Just playing the annoying overly protective father.."
He explained to Morgana, just as Andras showed up.
"Shirt?"
He asked, noticing that Andras wasn't wearing one yet again.
"there was no time, Sir"
The youth spilled as he prostrated himself infront of Joe as means of asking for forgiveness.
"Sir, she needs medical attention! the baby, Sir"
If there was one thing he wasn't used to, it was anyone worshiping him like that. It did the trick, rather than laying into him, he stood there stunned. An expression that didn't wear off until several seconds after Andras had explained the emergency.
Once it had, he flew past the two girls up the stairs, almost taking the door off its hinges as he ran into Alexis room, and headed for the bathroom, where he found her sitting in tears on the ground.
He sat down next to her, embracing her and drawing her closer to him to comfort her.
"Hey, Little Missy.. it'll be ok"
He assured her whilst he quietly worried about it not being ok.

"Bébé ?"
Morgana looked worried but she didn't interfere. It wasn't her place let alone her business.
Raven stared at Andras. "See to it that miss Morgana gets to her room. The door will have her name on it."
With that, Raven rushed upstairs and past the dragon for her daughter's room.
Alexis latched onto her father, terrified of what was going on. Never being pregnant before, let alone ever knowing anyone who had a miscarriage before, she just clamped onto him, tears streaming down her face.
Raven came into the bathroom then, took notice of the bleeding and her daughter's tears and knelt down. She didn't remember ever beign pregnant but she recalled a few women who had been and miscarried.
Comming back to her feet she left to go call the doctor.

He was sort of relieved that the father had taken more of an interest in his daughter than in him this time, and bowed to Raven as she gave the command.
"yes, Ma'am"
Before smiling at Morgana, indicating for her to follow him. Once they were out of earshot of the parents, he explained.
"my Mistress is with child.. "
He stopped himself. He wasn't sure if she was or wasn't or if blood was normal.
He kept holding her, comforting her, and only Raven would see that he was as terrified as his daughter.

Morgana nodded as she followed the dragon, moving quietly and ladylike up the stairs. Observing the reactions of the parents of the girl, she wasn't sure if she wanted to congradulate the girl or not...so she just followed Andras.
Alexis gently trembled from the held in fear, clinging toher father and almost oblivious to her mother. She also didn't care of her ankle throbbing as she sat there.
Raven had caught it and it seemed rare when Joe showed any sign of fear. Being the calmer of the two in situations like this, she grabbed a phone when she was away from the room.
She dialed the number, keeping her voice nuetral as the doctor picked up and she explained what was going on. She ran her free hand through her hair, pacing the floor as she spoke.
Hearing the doc on the other end saying he'd be right over, Raven hung up and returned to her daughter's side, kneeling down to gently touch Joe's shoulder.

"You'll be fine, Little One, everything's gonna be ok.."
He seemed to repeat the words over and over as he stroked her hair, trying to convince himself of the same thing he told her. She'd be fine.
As Raven touched him, he looked at her with a look he had not held since their daughter had been kidnapped. It was a call of help, of feeling helpless to stop what was happening, and of self blame for he figured that if Alexis lost the child, he was to blame.

A memory quickly flashed in her mind, one she was sure she had seen before but the memory blinked away, forever staying out of reach. She shook her head a little to clear her mind before she hugged the father, kissing his cheek tenderly.
Everyone was scared...
Raven looked at the water and grabbed a washcloth, dipping it into the water and wrung it out a little before she bathed their daughter's face in it's warmth.

Once he had gotten Morgana to her room, he went to return to his Mistress' chambers, though not before answering the door to the doctor, who seemed happy to note that no more damage had befallen the dragon.
Rather than going in with the doctor though, he stayed out in the corridor, watching the door like a hawk. Whatever was going on inside worried him greatly, though he suspected that he'd do as much good out here as inside.
He couldn't help but smile as she kissed him. She had a way of making things better that no other woman had.
He looked relieved when the doctor showed up, having no idea who had bothered calling him but grateful to whoever did anyway.
"Tell me its nothing.."
He asked the doctor, who just frowned and turned to Alexis asking if she'd mind her father waiting outside.

Alexis' answer to the doctor's question was a death grip on her father's wrist.
Raven gently pried the daughter's hand off her father. "Go on Joe." She gave him a look that said she wouldn't let anything happen to Alexis...She wasn't armed but she could still do damage, even though they needed the doctor now.
Alexis frowned, turning her scared gaze to her mother with tears still glistening in them.
She simply brushed her hair back. "He can wait outside...at least just outside the bathroom..."

He was about as willing to let go of his daughter as she was of him, though as Raven separated them, he nodded. She'd be fine in her mothers hands and if the dear doctor thought this was what it took, then so be it.
"You'll be fine"
He assured Alexis before he let go of her and left. Not that he moved far, getting as far as the bathroom door, where he took up pacing, waiting for news.

After what seemed an hour and probably was if not longer, the doctor reappeared, revealing Raven still holding Alexis though Alexis maintaned her grip on her mother.
Occassionally her hand would move to her eyes to whipe at the tears that fell, otherwise she was unharmed except her ankle and lost baby.
Raven looked up to Joe and simply shook her head gently, holding the girl.
The doctor kept his professional look on his face, sighing softly. He felt bad for the girl but other then recommending a lot of rest, there wasn't much he could do.

He swore, softly at first, but increasing in ferocity and volume very fast. It made the doctor decide that a hasty exit was best, that and a warning to the dragon outside to wait till the father had calmed down and a few more instructions to the reasonably calm Andras in regards to his 'girlfriend'.
Half way through the storm of swearing, he stopped and actually looked at his daughter, appearing almost instantly next to her to hold her and support her as much as he could.
"I'm soo sorry, little one.. soo sorry"
He might not have been a fan of becoming a grandfather, but that didn't mean he wanted her to loose the child.

Raven's grip loosened enough so that Alexis crawled into her father's grasp, all tears and burying her face into his chest. She didn't blame him.
Raven moved for the doorway before looking back to Joe. "Do you want to help her with the bath or should I and let you know when to get her out?"
She was sure the water would still be warm...if not it couldn't hurt to run a new one.

"Stay, she'll need both of us"
He asked Raven, holding his daughter a little longer before reaching over and checking the temperature of the bath, it wasn't hot anymore, but would still provide comfort.
"Its warm if you want.. "
He spoke quietly to Alexis, unsure how to comfort her in her time of need.
