Laughing, he ran a hand over one of his horns. "Davina," he said with distaste, "Is the woman that made me human." Rolling his eyes, he talked about how she had kept magical tabs on him and how he was still her puppet every now and again. Shrugging, he stopped to take a drink of his fast diminishing latte, "But the molting shrugged her magic off, so she has no more hold of me."

She frowned heavily for most of the story, then, after he finished, leaned over and nuzzled into his shoulder, gently. "I'm glad she can't bother you anymore. Not just for selfish reasons. Obviously, I'll want you to myself more than I do already one of these days, but that was foul play. Not fair a'tall."

"Indeed it was, but eventually she'll get hers." Smiling down at her, he smirked, "More than you do already, huh?" Tugging gently on one her curls, he chuckled in amusement.

She giggled, dipping her bread into the soft butter and chewing on it, contemplatively, swallowing before she replied, "Mmmhmm. I could very easily see mysefl falling in love with a man like you, 'Laus-san. But not quite yet. For the mos part, I am an old-fashioned girl at heart."

Miss Seraph Lacuna nodded, putting out her cigarette with a long sigh. "Rei..", she began before shaking her head "no" in response to her thoughts and turning her gaze to her palms. "Nevermind...", she murmured in thought for a moment. Rei paused and looked to Lacuna a moment, his eyes narrowing some in thought as he tried his best not to read her mind, as he had a tendency to do that when people didn't want to tell him what was bothering them. What is it? He asked after a moment, tilting his head to her and arcing an eyebrow. Miss Seraph ((Lacuna can't possibly find Rei on RM to add to her friends gonk )) Coz he's not hooked up yet, sillies. -snugs-

'Laus nodded, "I like giving love time to work out, instead of falling in and out of it too easily." Frowning at the lack of muffin in front of him, he mentally shrugged it off and nabbed the nearest server to order another one.

"Nothing.. Sorry darling..", she said chewing her lip before removing her quivering hands from her swollen eyes to the table top in hopes to steady them.
"I suppose I should.. apologize for barging in on your solitude twice..", she whimpered.
((Oooooh... SOOO knew that~!))

She grned, taking another bite of her crousant and a sip of chai.
"You've been in love often, eh? I hardly thought you seemed like the type, 'Laus-chan. Excuse the pun, but you seemed a little spikey when we first met."

Rei shook his head some to Lacuna, not neccessarily minding it as he well knew that in such a populated place like the Underground, it was going to be hard to be able to hide somewhere long. Don't worry about it. I suppose I should apologize for being such a barbaric a**. He smirked some as he spoke this, looking to Lacuna with inward hopes it'd make her laugh some. Rei never did like when pretty girls were upset, even if sometimes their sadness enhanced their beauty.
((Meegs wishes muchly Rei was connected, but...I thinks he'll be connected when Atari gets connected. -nodnod, anxiously awaits Atari's arrival-))

Akkhina, her eyes red, pushed the door open timidly, glancing around uninterestedly before heading to the counter. Ordering a white hot chocolate, she picked up her cup and headed to a corner table, sniffling a little.

Lacuna felt a small giggle escape her at the mention of the word, "barbaric". "Sorry about that..", she said hoping this would be the final tears she'd wipe away. "It's not everyday that I get my heart broken", she said in a half convincing lie. Lacuna felt a surge of guilt everytime Rei spoke a word. How dare she think the thought and she wished that perhaps it was just a phase she'd out grow with him or anyone for that matter. Lacuna had finally managed to convince herself that she was to be alone. Afterall, she didn't know who he was, where he came from, or why she felt so contented all of a sudden.

Rei smiled to himself as Lacuna laughed, and nodded some to her words. He wasn't used to having his heart smashed either, and if she felt at all like he did, he could understand. Nobody really deserves to have their heart broken...especially not everyday...he offered to her, starting to pick apart the muffin again. After a moment he swallowed, and looked back to Lacuna. I guess it's only fair for me to tell you, that...Well, I've never really spent time around any women. Family or otherwise. The thought made him blush some, and inwardly, he was thankful he chose to wear a kerchief over his nose at that time.

Lacuna raised a brow and shuffled awkwardly as she tried to quickly remove the look of shock on her face asshe allowed the words to register in her mind properly.
"...Excuse me, for being blunt, but.. Why the hell not?", she asked, "and", she began adding to her previous question, "Why would it only be fair you share that information with me?"
Lacuna tilted her head in interest in Rei and smirked, sensing some embarassment from the cloaked personaility that he managed to obtain.

'Laus blushed and shook his head, "No, a red dragon mates for life..." Smiling, he shrugged, "Spikey, eh? I guess I wasn't as congenial as I could have been, it takes getting to know me." Grinning at Bianca and his new muffin, he took to eating the baked goods happily.
Kalan entered the coffee house, and sighed, his letter from Akkhina folded gently in his shirt pocket. Tie loose and shirt unbuttoned, it was obvious he had gotten dressed without looking at what he was doing. Sitting at a table near the counter he stared at the menu on the wall, but didn't really read it at all.
((alright, i'm kinda eating now, so it might take a little bit to reply.))

Rei couldn't help but laugh out at Lacuna's question, and he shook his head some before looking to meet her eyes. Well, because...I don't have any full-blood siblings, and...My father lived in a house full of his friends. The only woman I was ever around was my mother. He shrugged a shoulder some and tilted his head, eyes still with Lacuna's. And I guess it'd just be fair to tell you that, because it'd probably give you a better understanding of me? I don't know...he laughed, shaking his head at himself as he pulled his eyes from hers and stuck them back at the table, which was once more scattered with crumbles of blueberry muffin.
