"Yeah..." Ryou fell silent for a moment, listening to the slow, steady beep of the monitor. He turned when he heard the door open, but didn't seem surprised when Khalid came through. "Took you long enough." Ryou secretly wondered why Khalid was later to arrive than them; he had gotten a head start, after all. Or maybe he had felt them coming and left the room.
Khalid glanced towards Bakura for a moment, taking in the sight like Ryou and Kira. He hadn't been in the hospital yet; in fact, he had tried his best to stay away. "I supposed that you'd like to be here first, to get the ring before I awaken him." Khalid said, already making his way over to the side of the bed to 'wake up Bakura.'

Kira grabed him by the collar pulling him back "your not waking him up.This is a once in a lifetime chance to rest and your not ruining it got that?" she said still holding onto him.

"I must." Khalid said, bowing his head humbly. "This is one thing fate cannot let me leave alone. It has been to flexible with me already, and I cannot risk anything more." He'd have to make up for the mistake of leaving Ryou alone with Bakura in the first place, then allowing himself to be knocked out by Kira. "I believe that something big is being planned and I need to attend to that now." Khalid turned when he heard a flicking sound, too much like a pocket knife to be anything else.
Ryou was standing across Khalid, only the bed in between them. He was holding a pocket knife to Bakura's throat, a determined look on his face. "Khalid..." He said slowly, as though still considering this. "I'll kill him, I swear. That won't go down too well with how this 'fate' of yours likes what you're doing, right?"
Khalid smirked. "Go ahead. Kill Bakura and trust me; you won't be able to control the Millennium Ring. Your body will disappear after a while, and you'll just die again as well. Besides, the tomb robber's soul will live on in the Millennium Ring, and I can construct a new body for him after a while. For fate cares more about Bakura than it does for you, so you wouldn't be missed." He smiled slightly when Ryou hesitated, then pocketed the knife again, giving up for then.

Ryou blinked slightly at this, then glanced back towards Bakura. He glanced down towards the Millennium Ring, wondering if he would actually be able to use it. "I'm not sure I'll be able to do it..." Ryou murmured, his voice and face losing any confidence, hope, happiness it had before. "If I mess up it might cause something bad..."

Ryou obliged, settling down on a chair next to the hospital bed. He fell silent again, listening to the steadyy beep of the monitor. "I'm not sure what to do anymore..."

She slid down to the floor sitting infront of the door.She staired up at the celing "I know ryou I know..."

Khalid tried to decide for a moment whether to force the door open and get this over with, or wait until one of them unlocked the door and went outside. He was just deciding to wait for the two when the back of his mind seemed to prickle, and he had to pause for a moment or two to see what it was. Before he was done, however, an angry Egyptian woman stormed over to him already.
Ishizu found Khalid easily enough, after finding his apartment empty. The next place logical to look for him would, of course, be the hospital. She saw him leaning against a door, his eyes closed, deep in thought. Storming over to him, she quickly slapped him across his face sharply, her anger plainly showing on her face. She moved to strike him again, but by then Khalid's eyes had opened and his hand had darted out and grabbed her wrist before she could hit him. "You-- you--" She sputtered, too mad to really speak right. Letting out a slight growl, she kicked Khalid's shin, taking that moment to rip her arm out of his grip. "You jerk! I knew it was nothing, I knew it!" She shrieked this part, because she knew the truth. How Shadi had set her and him up together to be a test for Khalid to see if he could set aside his emotions. Khalid silently grasped her wrist again, and she yelled, "You let go of me Khalid! I swear that I'll--!" Ishizu's suddenly found the wind knocked out of her and Khalid's fist in her stomach to silence her.
Ryou glanced towards the door, a concerned look on his face. He could've sworn that he heard Ishizu. But why would she be here? He stood up and moved a little towards the door, but wasn't sure if it was some sort of trap for them so Khalid could come into the room. But Ishizu sounded purely angry out there, and the abrupt stop in her words concerned Ryou even more.

Kira was close to the door so she heard everything well.Opening the door she kicked khalid in the balls from behind "YOU JACKASS!DONT YOU KNOW YOU CANT HIT WOMEN!"she said before kicking him agian in the same place before moving to see if ishizu was alright.

Ishizu blinked slightly in alarm when a few nurses also came towards them all, to see what was the problem. After Kira burst outside, Khalid seemed to have disappeared, though not into the room Kira was in. Ishizu shooed away some of the nurses, telling them she was fine, and nodded at Kira. "Yeah. I'm good. Just really pissed at Khalid." At her own mention of Khalid, Ishizu's eyes flashed, making her look dangerous. The look faded when she noticed Ryou in the doorway, and she grimaced slightly at the sight of the bruises on him. "Is that why you all are here?" She asked, hoping Bakura hadn't done anything to Ryou. She made a mental note to hurt Bakura the next time she saw him. She glanced from Ryou to Kira, wondering who had been hurt.
Ryou rubbed the back of his head, shaking it. "Actually, no. We're here because of Bakura, but not because he hurt me. He's the one injured Shocking, isn't it?" He watched with slight amusment at the expression of utter shock that crossed Ishizu's face. "Yeah. You'll need to be filled in on some stuff." He gestured for the two girls to come back into the hospital room before more nurses could come, and so Kira wouldn't be recognized.

kira gently pulled ishizu in the room shutting the door behind her "its been a veryweird past couple of days.." she told her. "Do you have any asprin?" she asked.Her head was killing her..friken eye...

Ishizu seemed to do a double-take when she went inside. She hadn't seen the Millennium Eye at first, in her anger towards Khalid. But before she could ask about it, she noticed Bakura on the bed. "Yeeeaaahh..." She said slowly, glancing from Ryou to Kira to Bakura again. "Anybody going to explain at all?" As she waited for an answer, Ishizu fished into her picket and drew out two aspirin, handing them to Kira.
"Well..." Ryou paused, wondering where to really start. To him, the story was still fuzzy and missing some spots. Sitting down on the chair he had been on earlier, he drew a breath to start the explanation.
(Shall we just say that Ryou and Kira tell her what happened but not really type it all out?)
