If so, don't covens require a 'year and a day' of courting them, learning, and assuring that you are the right person for their coven/their coven is right for you prior to initiation? Or is that a fluffy concept?

Or is that a fluffy concept? Yep, Seeking in relation to Wicca. From what I've gathered so far, a year and a day is considered a "nice idea." It might take one year, it might take a couple years. I don't personally think it's a fluffy concept, but rather it just doesn't account for the different speeds that people operate at. I mean, could you imagine if someone was slow opening up with social interactions? A year and a day wouldn't cut it. Or if someone on the other hand was sociable and a quick learner, then a year and a day might leave a whole lot of idle time (although I get the impression that less than a year is very rare).

To do tomorrow:
- Finish lab report, lon-cappa assignment, and lab procedures.
- Finish essay.
- Get caught up in pre-calc.
- Get caught up in chem.
- Apply for moar jobs.
x.x I don't think I like uni. very much. Too much, too fast. I'm overwhelmed. However, as soon as I catch up, then I can get ahead and maybe things will settle down. Towards this end:
To do Wednesday:
- Do Lab Report.
- Study pre-calc.
- Study chem.
- Study Etym. Vocab.
- Study Latin Vocab.
- Do next months homework in Etym.
Then I'll just have to rinse and repeat with the mid-four daily. Much more manageable. smile Tomorrow'll suck though. But, Bible Study to look forward to!

Honestly, it would make me a little bit nervous if all of that commenced in about a week.

I'm the type where I need some time to sit and reflect and process things. I would just feel really rushed; I don't feel that a week would be sufficient time for me to get a feel for the coven to see if it's right for me.
