"Go. I'll catch up with you later." I smiled at him as he walked away. I just needed to be by myself a while I was so stressed and confused lately. But I didn't want to concern others with my problems.

The air was still. Everyone in the arean had left. I dropped to the ground unsure of my feelings. I was so...I didn't even know. I felt awful inside and out. I wanted to die. Though I wasn't even going to try to commit suicide again. Oh well. I supposed this was my life now. Day in and day out training never leaving.I remember back a few months before when me, rex, and Danny were sitting on that hill. After the weeks of being so confused about Rex's outburst about hating this camp I finally understood. We were never going to do anything in out lives. We would just be stuck training for the rest of our miserable lives. The concept which had seemed so foregion and hard to image now was exactly how I felt. I was so naive when I first came to camp. Like a child. I know I felt like I understood everything. I was only fiftteen and I had gone through things ten times worse then some people would deal with there whole lives. And I think most of the other half-bloods felt the same way. I didn't know a single kid in this camp who was happy with life. I wanted to cry but the tears just wouldn't come. I had been harden beyond that. I stood up and walked off towards my cabin.

Rex had walked into the arena. He was about to slip his ring off when he saw a girl hacking away at the dummies through the arena. He walked over to her, swiftly dodging her blade as she was in a fury of cutting. "Hey, everything okay? You seem troubled. I'm Rex, by the way." He smiled as he introduced himself to this girl. Maybe Rex could actually help her feel better if she let him help, that was. Rex needed anything to keep his mind occupied from the voices and from the possible threat of Blake.

Rex looked at Zoe with compassion in his eyes and a warm smile. "Well, it sounds like we both have similar situations." Rex could tell there was more she wanted to say, but she held her tongue. He liked her already. "So tell me, who's your godly parent?" Rex asked. He slipped off his ring and was soon holding his shining scythe. Rex casually walked up to a dummy and ripped it to shreds in four swift slices. He smirked to himself, proud of the skill with the scythe he was developing.

The moment I walked into the arena I stopped cold. Inside were by far the people I wanted the least to see, Rex and Zoe. Rex hadn't bothered to show his face for almost a month and Zoe hated me with a passion, I never did understand why.
Not many people hated, I knew it sounded stupid but I wasn't used to people hating me. "well look who the cat dragged in." I said the second I walked in.

I ran up and dropped on my knees beside him. A sudden panic went through me. "Rex, are okay? Rex" I felt useless kneeling beside him I didn't know what was happening to him but I could tell he was in a lot of pain. "Please be okay" I muttered not loud enough for anyone to hear.

Zoe made me so angry. The next thing I knew I had punched her in the face with all my strength. she was luck that was all I did. Sometimes I swear she made me mad enough to kill her, and what did she know anyway. I had know Rex longer then anyone at this camp. We had even dated.
