C h e r r y p a w

[Cherrypaw followed after Anarchy, as she fell into the water and ultimately drowned. But along with her, many cats drowned too. Suddenly, she saw a silver figure in the water. It was That tom that Firepaw was with before! He was drowning.]"I-I can't lift his weight.."[She thought, fear welling up inside her. The calico apprentice glanced over and saw Sharkhail. Sharkhail was big, strong, bitter. She would help, she HAD to! Cherrypaw ran over to her fellow clanmate with wide eyes filled with worry.]"SHARKHAIL SAVE THAT WEIRD CAT I WAS TALKING TO EARLIER!"

S h a r k h a i l

[Sharkhail glanced down at Cherrypaw and she screamed at her to save the weird cat drowning. Who was this weird cat? Padding over to the edge, she could see Stripewhisker fighting for his life against the currents.]"Cherrypaw, that is not just a weird cat that's Stripewhisker!"[She hissed, immediately diving into the waters to rescue a friend. As she swam through the water, she could see a silver and black colored head bobbing in and out of the water. Before he could go under, she clamped her jaws down on his scruff, and swam to the edge of the water, dragging Stripewhisker up with her. Once on the land, she dropped him onto the grass and back off to give him room.]

S t r i p e w h i s k e r

[Once pulled up onto land, the Bengal tom began to cough. Never would he ever swim. or even go near a lake or river. Nothing water related! Glancing up at the cats surrounding him, it looked as if there were two of each cat there. The currents had tossed his head around slightly, making him dizzy.]"A-Anarchy's dead, Joyfeather."[He whispered to her.]

R A B B I T P A W

[Rabbitpaw stared hard as Silentpaw let out an outburst. It took a moment for the she-cat's words to register before he stood up, hissing slightly as he watched the white apprentice take off after Guardianvow. He snarled, limping after her. He spat angrily at her as she scooted across the clearing.]
You mousebrained kit, git back over here!
[he yowled, desperate to make the she-cat stop. His ears flickered. Who did this cat think she was?! There was no way that she could fight in this condition!

Rabbitpaw's heart nearly stopped when he saw Silentpaw being dragged over the edge along with a large black shape. He paused for a moment, somewhat confused. When had it arrived?! His eyes snapped shut, shaking his head. This definitely wasn't a time to be thinking about such things. He shot forward as fast as he could push himself to go. He muttered curses under his breath as pain shot up his foot with every step. When he finally reached the edge, he bunched his muscles, fully prepared to hurtle himself in after the she-cat. He stopped though as a thought occurred to him. What in his right mind made him think that he himself would be able to swim? He stared at his paw for a long moment, and then back to the white lump of fur struggling in the water. He narrowed his eyes quietly. Why should he risk his life for something that pitiful and useless? He growled slightly, the claws on his good paw digging into the ground. He pursed his lips. Why had he even come after the crippled apprentice?

Rabbitpaw's ears flickered and he glanced back at where the two had come from under the cover of the bushes. He blinked, his eyes catching sight of a dark pelt for a brief moment. He sighed in defeat. Right. Falconpaw liked her. He closed his eyes for a moment. If his acquaintance had ever found out about these thoughts, this hesitation, he would definitely come to resent the medicine cat apprentice. He blinked. Either way, it was a medicine cat's duty to help cats who are injured.

Rabbitpaw sucked in a gulp of air, hurtling himself into the water below. The sudden rush of cold almost made the apprentice pass out. The world spun around him, the sloshing of water around him making him queasy. He closed his eyes for a moment just sitting there, trying to catch his breath. His claws had gripped ahold of a part of the side of the island underneath the water, holding it in a death grip. His heart was nearly beating out of his chest. It was frightening. He spat curses at himself. What had he been thinking?! He trembled. No, there was no time for that. Silentpaw had to be saved! His eyes quickly attempted to calculate how far Silentpaw was away from him and what the best route back would be. She would definitely be heavy, so they wouldn't last long if they had to go a long distance. His eyes flickered first to Silentpaw, and then back to the spot where he had been before. They seemed somewhat close together. He nodded slightly. There. We have to get there.

Sucking in another gulp of air, he let go of his perch, splashing clumsily as he tried to propel himself in Silentpaw's general direction. His head broke the surface and he gasped loudly, just in time to gather air as he went under once more. When he came up again, he was about a tail length away from the white lump of fur that was clinging on to Anarchy's motionless body, He reached his good paw forward, sinking it into the cold flesh of the jaguar. He sat there for a moment next to Silentpaw, coughing up mouthfuls of water. He trembled slightly as the coughing fit subsided. He let out a shaky sigh and glanced back at Silentpaw for a moment. He coughed again.]
"Oi, we need to getcha out o' here before you freeze ta death,"
[he muttered between coughs, his normally odd speech sounded even weirder than usual. He shook slightly, catching his breath for a moment before he looked back Silentpaw. He coughed again.]
"Er.....ready to go or do ya need to rest for a moment?"
[he murmmured. He tried sinking his claws deeper into the flesh of te enemy, squinting for a moment. His paws had long went numb. He blinked. Not good. A cat could die within minutes just sitting in this lake. He sighed. He had a feeling that he would definitely be treating cats for chills and colds soon enough.]

L A V E N D E R S T A R

[Something suddenly barreled into Lavenderstar's side, sending her sliding away from Anarchy. A harsh squeak came from her when the same cat landed on her, knocking the wind out of her. She spluttered for a moment as she tried to catch her breath, her eyes snapping shut. What the....? she thought dizzily. When she opened her eyes, she squeaked slightly in surprise when she found a pair of green eyes staring back at her, uncomfortably close to her face. She blinked, her voice unable to come out as she assessed the situation. Ravenwing had jumped on her for some reason, that she could tell.

The tom's next words made the leader's suprised expression morph into a scowl. OLD?! She growled moodily, her head jerking upward. She snapped her jaws shut about a flea's length from Ravenwing's nose with an audible click before she heaved him off of her. Her tail lashed behind her and she growled, her paw poised as it was ready to box him over the ears. To think that for a breif moment she had been dazed by him was a disgusting thought to her. She hissed impatiently as she shook the dust off of her back.]
"Ravenwing, this isn't the time for this kind of kit-like behaviou...."
[her voice quieted when she took in the state that the SeaClan tom was in. Her eyes widened slightly as her eyes caught sight of the blood beginning to mat the black fur on his back. Her eyes flickered back to Anarchy for a moment, and the back to Ravenwing's wounds. She blinked as she realised what had happened. He had.....protected her?

Lavenderstar pursed her lips, nodding curtly to the warrior.]
"In that case, I'm sorry for misjudging you just now, and I thank you for saving me,"
[she muttered reluctantly, her tail twitching.]

[Before she could hear anything else from Ravenwing, a loud splash caught her attention. She blinked in surprise, dashing quickly to the edge of the island without another look at the black tom. She looked over the edge, her eyes not missing the dark, floating black pelt in the water below. It didn't move. Her eyes widened slightly. Had they won? Had they rid the forest of the Slayers forever? She didn't dare to cheer, still wary of the body. Was she really dead?

Lavenderstar turned around, her gaze sweeping across the clearing. The clearing seemed less lively than it had when the battle had first began. She bowed her head slightly, sorrow almost engulfing her. They had lost many, many lives that fateful night. A small flicker of hope stirred in the NightClan leader's chest. Was it over? It had to be!]

M U D N O S E

[Mudnose stared coldly at Anarchy as she fell over the edge of the island. She spat angrily, her tail lashing slightly. An arrogant snort came from her and she stuck out her tongue.]
"Good riddance, you mangepelted bone-bags,"
[she snarled angrily. Her pale blue eyes were narrowed dangerously, making wrinkles appear on her forehead. This experience would definitely teach every beast out there; to not mess with Clan cats!

Next, Mudnose plopped down on her rump, quietly studying her accumulated wounds. A gash, one that anyone would consider deep, went down her right shoulder. Blood, dried and fresh, matted the fur around it and was still oozing from it. She blinked.
"Oh..."
[was all that came out. It seemed kinda bad. Of course, she couldn't feel it at all. She pouted slightly How unfortunate.... She tried to follow it with her eyes as she looked down her shoulder, but it disappeared from view once it travelled down her leg. She blinked, idly wondering how far it went on.

Mudnose jumped when her name was screeched across the clearing. Her eyes narrowed slightly. Who even had the energy to still be yowling like that?! She twitched her earsmoodily, standing up. Her tail twitched behind her as she marched toward where she had heard the voice.]
"Stop shouting, what do you want?!"
[she yowled equally as loud. A few cats muttered a few angry words at her, but she rolled her eyes, pushing through the cloud. She cleared her throat once more.]
"I said, 'What do you wa-"
[Mudnose's voice cut short when she found herself staring face-to-face with a ginger tom. Her eyes widened slightly. He had been calling her?

[Mudnose let out a chuckle, shaking her head slightly.]
"Hehehe, sorry! I didn't know it was you!"
[she laughed, smiling apologetically. She sighed, staring at Foxfur for a few moments. Her smile faded as she took in the severity of his condition. He was bleeding. BLEEDING!

Mudnose yelped slightly, lunging forward to examine his wound.]
"GEEZ, how'd you let it get this bad?!"
[she hissed, quickly rasping her tongue around the gash on his side in an effort to clean it. Almost immediately, an awful, stomach-wrenching taste filled her mouth. She stopped, rasping her tongue across her teeth in distaste. The metallic taste, the scent, it made the she-warrior's head spin. She teetered slightly to the side as her world spun faster and faster. Without warning, she slumped over, her head landing somewhere near her mate's paws. Everything went dark as she was suddenly plunged into a dizzying, suffocating darkness.]

[ooc:] annnnddddd......she's out. xD

Burrpelt .:. Warrior .:. StormClan

[On his perch on the large cat's hide, he was able to avoid getting swiped at with Anarchy's massive paws. The cry of his leader rang through his ears.] Right, [he thought.] Go for the wounds. [He clawed his way down her back, making sure to rake them across every wound he saw. Over and over again until blood spurted, covering his face and legs.] Go for the wounds, injure the eyes, go after her underbelly, knock her over, attack as a team! [He could feel the cooperation and the methods working. For a moment, he felt victorious.] Yes! We actually have a chance! Maybe I can live through this! [Though those thoughts were shaken when he was suddenly slammed to the ground.
All of his breath left his lungs at once, leaving him wheezing. He gasped for air, feeling the weight of the leopard crush him. When it was lifted he took a moment to gain his breath back before scrambling up breathlessly. Panting, he glared viciously at the beast before rushing back in. He had to help end this. For the safety of the Clans' future!] For everything I love, [he thought.
Step by step they were driving the black she-cat back.] Closer! [he cried mentally, referring to the distance of the lake and the jaguar. They were so close! So close to winning! Already it seemed that the jaguar was panicking. He went to attack again but was cut short as a large black paw hit him. The claws raked his shoulder and foreleg, leaving long, bleeding gashes. With a yowl of anger and pain, Burrpelt mustered the rest of his energy and helped drive her back.
When the jaguar slipped into the lake, Burrpelt stopped. There wasn't going to be much hope left for her. Now was the time to worry about others. Ignoring the searing pain his body felt, he limped off, searching for a familiar white pelt. He had to make sure she was okay.] "Skywhisker!" [he called out meekly, his voice raspy. Clenching his teeth as he stumbled, Burrpelt stopped and sat down. His wounds were bleeding a little too much for his liking. His vision was blurry and he felt dizzy. he just had to sit still. His head drooped and he stared at the spinning, blood soaked ground with wide eyes. They had won, but why did it feel like they had also lost?]

Marblepaw .:. Apprentice .:. NightClan

[Marblepaw wasn't sure on what to do. She slid down the jagura's body, trying to keep her claws in as deep as they would go. Though it didn't seem to do much. She hit the ground and scurried off a distance before sprinting back and attacking. Better safe than sorry.
Avoiding other battling cats, Marblepaw devised a method.
Run, pounce, claw, avoid.
Over and over she repeated this. And so far it was working. But Ararchy wasn't done fighting. Unfortunately, Marblepaw was hit with a swinging paw. She was sent flying. She hit the ground rather hard, landing on her side. She was too disoriented to land on her paws. Marblepaw tried to get up but collapsed at a sharp pain in her paw.] Don't come for me, Daddy, Lightsound. I want to spend a little more time here and see what it's like after we win. [was the last thing she thought before giving in to unconciouness.]

[Foxfur felt as if every passing moment was an eternity, waiting for his mate's familiar pelt to pop up in his view. As her voice reached the deputy's ears, Foxfur felt his heart jump, she sounded just like she always did. Grinning, he stiffly rose to his paws and raised his chin, getting a better view of the cats in front of him. As her voice drew near, another sound reached the deputy. By the sounds of it, Anarchy was dead. Could this really be the end? Why was no one cheering? Those thoughts soon disappeared as Mudnose came into Foxfur's view. His grin was erased as he spotted her wounds, amber eyes growing anxious. He tried to nudge her away from inspecting him so he could get a good look at her injuries]

"I'm fine, really. You're the one who looks bad, does it hurt a lot? They look deep,"

[Foxfur leaned forward and nosed her softly, breathing in her familiar scent, it was still there, beneath all the blood. Suddenly, she fell forward, and Foxfur jerked back, eyes wide with shock. There was no sense in calling out her name, as she was either unconscious or..dead. His heart clenched at the last word, but he forced himself to lean down and press his good ear against her flank, feeling it rise and fall gently, hearing the steady beat of her heart]

"Hang in there, love. I'll get you home soon," he whispered.

[Straightening up, Foxfur quickly grabbed his mate by her scruff gently and hoisted her onto his back, ignoring the aches and pains of his wounds. Breathing deeply to help keep calm, the deputy quickly located his leader and slowly padded towards her, half-afraid another Slayer was going to pop out of nowhere and kill them all. Reaching Lavenderstar, the tom bowed his head, then looked down at his leader, amber eyes triumphant, but tired and dull]

"Lavenderstar? Is it safe to say we've won and go home? I think this is the end. We did it"

[Foxfur felt his words impact him. They had done it. They had won]

[Brightspirit and Riverfang managed to leap away from the Slayer before she toppled into the water, thank StarClan. The two looked at each other for a few moments, then both stepped forward and collapsed, their pelts touching. Flank heaving, Brightspirit couldn't help but smile and purr. The threat was over, and they had banded together to defeat it. How could it be better? Riverfang kicked the top of his mate's head and sighed. Their injuries could wait, for now, they were just going to sit and rejoice]

[Shadowpaw blinked blood from his eyes and sank to the ground, exhausted. Maybe now, they could finally go home and rest. He smiled up at Willowheart, then placed his head on his paws, waiting for further instruction]

[Willowheart looked down at the black apprentice beside her for a few moments, green eyes warm, then bent down and picked him up by his scruff, rising to her paws, and then she trotted towards her leader, beautiful silver pelt glowing in the moonlight, slightly marred by all the blood. As she passed by Lightningstrike, the she-warrior felt her heart clench, but she gathered up the courage and looked him right in his beautiful eyes as she passed, trying to convey 'I love you, I'm sorry, I love you' in one glance. When their contact was broken, she continued on, heart heavy, until she reached Lavenderstar. then, she sat and laid Shadowpaw down, green eyes tired]

Skywisker
Mentor to: No one

Past Apprentices: Oakpawbranch
Mate to: Burrpelt
*´¨`**´¨`**´¨`*
[My ears perked at the sound of my leaders call. Nodding, I tore forward in hopes to get under Anarchy. While everyone else was driving her back, I was trying to injure her from underneath, which... Proved to be a lot harder than one might think. Not the injuring her part, no, once you go underneath, it was no problem. It was the... Getting, and staying under that was the hard part. I shot under, scratched, and they moved so I'd have to get under again. When I did get underneath though, I made sure that if she'd tip over, it wouldn't be on me. Dash. Claw. Dodge. Repeat. That wasn't that hard, it was what we were trained to do. I let out a squeak of surprise when I saw the feet of the jaguar slip from underneath her.] No! [I yowled inwardly. I was still under her! I tried to scramble away, but the large body overpowered me and took me with her, under. I squirmed and flailed my paws until I wasn't under her anymore. I kicked to the surface, pulling myself out of the water. I took in a few heaves of the delicious air as I looked over my wounds. Not that bad. The scar on my leg had opened up again, but this time. I was, surprisingly not that injured. I stood up and shook my fur, trying to dry myself. My ears perked and my head shot up when I heard that voice.] "Burrpelt?!" [I called, I hadn't seen him since before the gathering battle. I gasped as I caught sight of him.] "BURRPELT!" [I yowled and raced to his side, ignoring the pain in my leg.] "What in the name of Starclan happened to you!" [I exclaimed and began to lick his wounds.]

((Out Of Cats: ))

Rainpaw

[Rainpaw sat down and watched the clans drive the jaguar into the water. Huh... So she couldn't swim. That was good for the clans. He wanted to help so badly, but he needed to listen to Starkcloud. To make up for ever leaving. Rainpaw shot up from his sitting position and onto his paws when he saw his friend.] "Marblepaw!" [He called out and padded to her side.] "Marblepaw!" [Rainapw sighed and lay down beside her. He shook his head and began to smooth out her fur. They would wait for a medicine cat. Unless Rainpaw spotted one, then he would get them to come. But either way, one would come as soon as they were available.]

(( AHHHH MY HANDS ARE SHAKING

know what this means everyone? IT'S OVERRRRR YAAAAY

RENOVATION

NOW BEGINS THE TRANSITION TOOO...THE SECOND SEASON! TIMESKIP TIUUUMMM ROOOOH ))

Silverstar

[Silverstar screeched as she was pulled in with the mob of cats towards the water. She refused to let go, clinging to the she-cat's side.
As cats flailed in the water, most not knowing how to swim, the leader almost instinctively felt herself looking for Thunderflight, who was always by her side, but she could not spot the she-cat in the water (and besides, no StormClan cat could swim very well).
Just then, she felt a tug on her scruff and she was pulled to shore. She kicked and sputtered, eyes wide, then let out a gasp for air as she was deposited on the shore of the island.
She looked at her rescuer-a ginger she-cat ((Griffonsea)) whose fur was streaming with water. Silverstar spat, coughing up water.]
"Someone else to owe a life to?" she grumbled to herself angrily.
"You alright?" the she-cat asked. [Silverstar nodded silently, spitting up some more water, and waited for a snarky comment about how weak StormClan must be if their leader flapped in the water like a kitten.
The she-cat nodded to her, motioning towards the river with a jerk of her head, and with a flick of her tail, the she-cat turned, diving back into the water to help the drowning cats.
Silverstar blinked, confused, then snorted, licking her muzzle. The she-cat had no idea she'd just rescued the StormClan leader! All the better. It may be a foolish thought, but Silverstar was tired of owing others her lives...it made her feel as if she was weak, which she knew she was not. She could meet any cat in battle readily!
But it was true that she could not swim very well, and it made her frustrated to have a weakness.
She shook her head. This whole Slayers business made her feel out of character. She would usually never let such things bother her.

Silverstar turned to see Thunderflight shaking her pelt, her long fluffy fur drooping in moppy tendrils. The she-cat snorted angrily, licking with agitation at her sodden pelt.
Silverstar padded over to her, limping slightly, and felt a rusty purr rise in her throat. Thunderflight looked up, eyes bright, and purred in response.]
"We did it, Silverstar," she whispered softly, joy shining in her bright crystal eyes."We did it!" Silverstar agreed wholeheartedly.
[She threw her head back and yowled into the sky, feeling a rush of pride and relief mix together.
The Clans had battled with the unthinkable- the very warriors from LionClan and beyond.

And they had survived! Granted, in much fewer numbers...

but they had survived!]

Thunderflight joined in her yowl, teeth glinting brightly. She hesitated, then nudged Silverstar softly, lowering her eyes. Silverstar tilted her head, curious to see the she-cat's change in mood.]
"Silverstar...Cindermoon is dead," Thunderflight murmured softly, squeezing her eyes shut. "She died protecting me and Lustrepaw from a death blow from Ravage."
[Silverstar lowered her head, flattening her ears. She knew many had died that night, but Cindermoon was a heavy blow. She would have made a great leader.]
"Can you take me to her?" the leader murmured quietly, pain glinting across her emerald eyes.
[Thunderlight nodded, leading the leader up the slope onto the island and over to where Cindermoon's body lay, slightly crushed and matted with blood.
Silverstar pressed her nose into the she-cat's fur, letting out a low moan, and lashed her tail. More than just Cindermoon had died that night.
Nearby StormClan cats watched her with lost expressions. StormClan needed a new deputy again. Silverstar had hoped that would wait for many moons to come.
And yet. Yet...]

"Cats of StormClan," she said strongly, raising her head. "We have lost many warriors tonight! Many died horribly painful deaths in order to protect their loved ones, and their spirits will shine brighter than any other because they sacrificed themselves in order to save their clanmates! They died the way of the true warrior-in battle!
Unfortunately, among the dead we can count our own deputy, Cindermoon. She was a shining star in the days of night when the Slayers tormented us, and she will truly be missed. We will bury her with all those who have fallen."

Silverstar gazed around at all who were listening, StormClan or not, and continued, "But by the decree of StarClan, I must name a new deputy before moonhigh. The moon is very high in the sky now, my warriors, and I believe strongly that we were not left for naught.
I am ready to make my decision.

I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our ancestors may hear and approve my choice.

Thunderflight will be the new deputy of StormClan."

((APPROVED BY LEO APPROVED BY LEO ))]

Thunderflight

[I felt my jaw drop down and my eyes pop out of my head.

What did she just say?!

I sputtered, unsure of what to say, but there was a swell of cats calling my name now. StormClan cats-even other warriors. I saw Puresun yowling enthusiastically, and Embergaze nodding with pleasure. All my friends were here to see this! This was more than I'd ever hoped for-literally!
At the same time, I was terrified. I never even dreamed or thought about becoming leader, but rather, staying by Silverstar's side. I couldn't imagine being a good leader (and was, in fact, imagining the many ways of how I might fail my Clan).]

"But Silverstar," I whispered, glancing around in embarrassment, "Me and Whisperblade-the punishment you gave me- I- I don't understand!"
"Listen, Thunderflight," Silverstar said bluntly, "I'm only going to say this once. You've shown loyalty and courage of a true warrior your entire life. Even when I forbid you to help Whisperblade, you did anyway-not just because you loved him, but because you knew he was hurt. You would rather give your own life in place of another's. It's a wonderful trait, albeit a reckless one.
You've made many mistakes in your life, but so have I. A deputy doesn't need to be perfect-and you're certainly not perfect-but a deputy needs to be the right cat, and you are the right cat. Understand?
Now, don't quote me on disobeying me as a good thing. Don't ever do that again."

[I stared at her while she spoke, shaking my head, and mrowed with laughter at the last part.]
"If you say so, Silverstar," I sighed, utterly bewildered, and turned to pad away.

"Cats of StormClan, please help any injured cats you see!" Silverstar yowled. "I would like to have a word with the other leaders at our place on the hill."
[Silverstar began to limp away when I coughed. She glanced at me with curiosity.]
"Can I..." I began, but Silverstar cut in with a soft purr, "Go to him. I'll leave it to you to organize things while I discuss matters with the other leaders though."
[I nodded, turning around, and faced the waiting warriors with a hesitant glance.]

"Right, ah," I began, "Help those who are injured as Silverstar said. I don't know what we should do with our dead, but I'm sure the leaders will discuss that. For now, any cat with a serious injury should see Moonblaze immediately-don't be stubborn, the last thing we need is for you to die from infection. Cats with minor injuries will have to wait as we are low on herbs. Once every cat has been helped, we should wait for Silverstar's orders. I will check on our elders, kits, and queens. That is all."
[I nodded to them, padding away. It was a bit selfish of me, but I had to go back across the river for the true purpose of seeing Whisperblade one more time. I just had to!
I leapt onto the log, which was now partially submerged into the river at the middle. I took a flying leap to the other side, scrambling onto it. Then I edged my way to the other side, spotting Whisperblade instantly.
I ran up to him, excitement and joy in my eyes.]

"Whisperblade! Whisperblade!" I yowled, nearly barreling him over. "You won't believe it! Silverstar has accepted you into StormClan because of everything you've done for us when we needed help!"
"Great, another stray who was stronger than StormClan!" a little kitten sneered at me. I retorted, "Shut it, kit, it's ignorant to say that no Clan needed help under the claws of those monsters." His mother scooted him away, muttering, "I'm so sorry miss...now now, you shouldn't jeer at warriors, sweetheart, you have no concept of what they've been through! It may have been easy for us, but they tried their best to make it that way and..." [Her voice faded over into the murmur of voices and I returned my attention to Whisperblade, joy shining in my eyes.]
"Isn't that great?" I asked excitedly, then froze. "I mean, you know, if you were planning on staying. You don't have to, it's just an invitation is all. Right..."
[I looked away bashfully, realizing I'd pushed a huge invitation on him right on the spot. Oh, but I hope he wants to stay, I thought feebly, scuffing the dirt with an anxious glance at him.]

Galestar

[Galestar growled at Frostclaw with half-amusement and half-worry.]
"No way in StarClan would I let you back on that field" he argued with a sigh. "It would be suicide in your condition!"
[He stared at her with uncertainty and worry. What was he going to do? He knew she'd crawl right back after him if he went back into battle.
Suddenly a large, audible splash could be heard, and he turned in time to see Anarchy stumble into the water.
After a few moments, it was evident that she was dead. The cats who'd fallen in the river struggled to get out. He let out a soft tutting sound.]
"Well, it looks like it's no longer up for debate!" Galestar chuckled. "I'm in luck. If I'd ordered you to stay, I think I might've lost an ear!"
[He turned to her with a purr, licking her head again.]
"Now everything will be fine," he murmured happily.
[He heard Silverstar's speech and nodded, standing.]
"And still I am needed. Well, love, wait here-I'll come back for you."
He yowled, "BreezeClan, help the injured and remain on the island until I give word. Pebbleheart will check on our elders and kits."
[He padded over to where Silverstar and the other leaders were with a glint in his eyes.]
"What do you have to offer, Silverstar?" he asked, twitching his ears.
"A truce," she stated. [He blinked in surprise, contemplating it.] "All the Clans have suffered a heavy toll on casualties. Almost all of us have been reduced by half, and that's just the warrior count. We all need time to recover. I'm not saying any of you would start a war, but we need to make it clear to our warriors that there will be no fighting while everyone recovers. I suggest two moons worth of time, at least, to recover!"
"I motion for three," Galestar stated. "One for the warriors to recover, one for the prey to return, and one for everything to fall into balance."
[Silverstar nodded, eyes bright.]
"No hunting on other's territory, of course, but anyone caught starting a fight will be punished."
[Silverstar nodded again, a satisfied look on her face.]
"BreezeClan holds this truce with StormClan, and any other Clan that agrees," he meowed, glancing at Lavenderstar and Shiftstar. "Have we reached a consensus?"

(( leaders, please just post if you accept or not so them Clans can leave :Y ))

Guardianvow

[Guardianvow screeched as he saw his sister go into battle. The swarming cats pushed him away from her as he tried to stop her. He screeched again as she fell into the river, catapulting into it himself to save her.
He discovered he was a terrible swimmer.
Rabbit paw had already reached her when he arrived, clinging to Anarchy's body for leverage.]
"Mouse-brain!" he gasped, grabbing her from Rabbitpaw. "Coulda been killed!"
He glanced at Rabbitpaw and added a quick (yet sincere), "Thank you! before turning and dragging his sister to shore, sputtering as they reached it.
[He raised his head, panting as he listened to Silverstar and watched Lavenderstar join them.
Returning his attention to his sister, he began to furiously groom her, trying to dry her fur with his rough tongue.]

Griffonsea

[Griffonsea continued to dive for drowning cats, dragging everyone she could to the shore (who could not make it on their own). The other SeaClan cats joined her, rescuing the drowning from...well, drowning. She raised her head at the warrior she'd just rescued's call, eyes widening as she realized the she-cat had been leader of StormClan.
Well, that was embarrassing, she thought off-pawedly. I talked to her as if she was a warrior...
She shrugged, figuring it didn't matter, and turned, making sure nobody else needed help.]

Burrpelt .:. Warrior .:. StormClan

[Burrpelt's ears flicked as he heard his name. He weakly raised head, staring in awe at Skywhisker. It took him a moment to assess that she wasn't too badly injured and that it was actually her. His vision was all blurry.] "You're all wet," [he murmured plainly as she came closer.] "Oh. I got scratched. Nothing I can't handle." [he said, drooping his head again. He was numb, so he didn't feel his mate's tounge rasping over his wounds, thankfully.] "I'm tired," [he mumbled, stretching his jaws in a yawn. Slowly, he leaned into his mate, closing his eyes.] "I'm happy your safe," [he said quietly, a faint purr rising in his chest.]

H a u n t e d h e a r t

[Hauntedheart was flung to the side as Anarchy tumbled into the water. She watched as cats were brought with her but didn't give it another thought. The medicine cat slowly stood up and glanced around. So many cats were dead, good cats. She spotted something in the bushes and limped toward it. She had a cut on her leg that caused it to hurt everytime she put pressure on it. However, the shining shape were more important. Her gaze traveled up to the sky has she noticed the blue moon was gone. Then how were they still here.]

"Hauntedheart," the voice echoed in her mind as she padded into the shadows. She stared at the shimmering form of her past mate and smiled. He nodded ot her and smiled. "I simply came to say goodbye, my dear. I will always watch over you, like always."
[Hauntedheart smiled at him and flicked her tail. She had so much she wanted to say, but she felt a lost for words form just seeing him there. The small shape beside him finally spoke up, his yellow eyes gazing fondly at her.]
"You fought well, Mama," [Whitekit's voice said in her head and Hauntedheart lowered her face down to her kit. She smiled at him and gazed at him longly. How she longed to embrace him, to tell him how much she loved him. Foxclaw began to fade away, Whitekit too, and Hauntedheart felt panic wash over her. No, they couldn't leave just yet! A few more minutes, that was all she needed! Foxclaw simply smiled at her, his amber eyes warm and loving. While Whitekit stared up at his mother.]
"Never stop fighting, Mama. Okay? Mama..." he began as his spirit faded until it was almost gone. "Mama I love you!"

[Then, just like that, they were gone. Hauntedheart stared at the place they had just stood, a warm feeling coming over her. He loved her. Her son loved her. Hauntedheart purred softly before turning away and limping toward the smell of herbs. She felt tired from fighting and knew she would ahve to treat herself quickly so she could help the others. The others came first, but Hauntedheart had to at least be able to move. She sighed as she reached the herbs and sat down. Her body wanted to collaspe but the medicien cat resisted the urge.]

"Do you need to be treated?" a soft voice mewed.

[Hauntedheart turned around, prepared to come back with a sharp retort but froze. Blue eyes met crystal eyes as mother and daughter gazed upon each other for the first time ever. Hauntedheart knew it was her daughter the moment she spotted her. She felt her heart skip a beat and felt like she couldn't be. Here, right in front of her, was her daughter. Fadingkit or possibly Fadingpaw. A purr threatened to rise in her throat but Hauntedheart forcefully pushed it down. She felt words escape her as the she-cat stared at her with deep blue eyes. The Nightclan quickly looke dover her daughter and spotted no wounds on her. She hadn't fought, good. She didn't want any harm coming to her daughter. Hauntedheart shook her head slowly, finding her voice returning.]

"No, I'm fine. I'm a medicine cat. NightClan. Hauntedheart," she mewed as calmly as she could manage, knowing she couldn't even hint at their relation.

"Oh, okay. If you need any help let me know. I'm Fadingpaw, Stormclan's medicine cat apprentice," Fadingpaw mewed in reply.

[Hauntedheart was certain her paws would give out right then. The joy that spread through her body was almost unbarable. Her daughter, a medicine cat! This was wonderful... no this was horrible! What if her daughter ended up just like her? No that couldn't happen! Starclan wouldn't be that cruel. Shaking her head slightly, Hauntedheart watched as her daughter sat in silence for a few moments before standing up to pad away. She wasn't sure what to do but she didn't want to lose sight of her daughter already.]

"Wait. Could you possibly help me treat my wounds, I can't really reach the one on my side," she mewed, lieing. The medicine cat could easily reach teh gash on her side but no one needed to know that.

[Her daughter nodded before she began to treat her. Hauntedheart immediatly regreted her offer. It was so hard to act calm and cool with ehr daughter right beside her, touching her. How much she wanted to let out a joyous yowl or a purr but she couldn't. Was this the price she had to pay for having kits? Being tortured constantly by her daughter's pressence without being able to tell her the truth. Sadness lingered in the medicine cat but Hauntedheart foudn happiness in there too. Finally after all these moons she got to see her daughter, meet her, talk to her, and learn about her. If one thing was certain, Hauntedheart would definatly paying extra attention to StormClan's new medicine cat apprentice.]

S i l e n t p a w

[Silentpaw glanced over at Rabbitpaw and smiled slightly. SHe opened her mouth to reply when Guardianvow grabbed her. of course her brother was mad, she couldn't blame him, but it had been killing Silentpaw to just sit on the sidelines. Besides, she was still alive, right? Just a little cold but alive! She climbed onto shore by herself, hissing at Guardianvow when he tried to help. She sat down near the leader and let her brother lick her. She le tout a sigh and listened closely. Silverstar seemed to be a smart leader, as was Galestar. Hopefully Lavenderstar would agree to teh truce. It made sense to after all. NightClan had lost enough cats as it was, no point losing more over stupid battles. Silentpaw back to groom herself as she waited for Lavenderstar and Shiftstar to give their opinion.]

((Yay! We're finally doen the series! *Does happy dance* I cna't wait for the next series!

I think I teared up a little when writing Hauntedheart's part. It was such a bittersweet moemnt for her.))

[Siting silently by Moonblaze's side Whisperblade continued to focus upon the stars, watching as they changed as the glow of the blue moon began to fade. A peaceful smile appeared on his face as he could feel his stary friends relax. The war against the Star Slayers must have been coming to a close.... for better or for worse. Hearing his name being called far in the distance he looked down from the night sky just in time to barled over by Thunderflight. The sudden flinch sent pain coursing though his ripped up leg but he grinned and bared in, not wanting to ruin her excited mood.]

"Thunderflight, I am so glad to see that you are alright. I had faith in you."

[His smile faded however into a look of shock when she mentioned that SIlverstar had offered to let him be a part of Stormclan. For a long moment he sat in silence, staring. He still felt some loyalty towards Fathom, his old leader of Nightclan, and always would, but now he had a chance to start a new, and even better, a chance to be with her... Seeing Thunderflight's beautiful smile fade into a meek expression once again he smiled. Nodding his head.]

"Tell Silverstar that i am very thankful, and would be honored to serve under he as her warrior. Also... now that I am a Stormclan warrior, i have no reason to hide anything from my fellow warriors anymore."

[Grinning and purring he looked at the beautiful she cat before him. He had always felt these feelings, but now they would no longer be a burden to her due to his status.]

"Thunderflight I love you. I have for a long time now. Please forgive me for hiding my feelings, i didn't want to burden you with them. Ever since i met you i felt like something was missing, and now i know what it was, it was well worth fighting for. I only hope that you feel the same way too."

[Leaning in he purred to her a sweet melody, licking clean her bloodied cheek as he whispered these words into her ear.]

"I love you."

[I felt relief swell around me as he said he would be happy to join. Yes! Now I could build up my courage to tell him how I felt. Perhaps not tonight, but soon-very soon!]
"I'm so glad!" I said excitedly, then paused, trying to backtrack, when he leaned into my ear.
[My fur practically doubled in size (making me look much larger than he was) as extreme shock slammed into me like a fat Slayer. My breath was literally blown away, leaving my lungs in a short spurt. My heart beat loudly in my chest, starting to grow warmer the longer I held my breath.
What?

What?

This is some great irony, StarClan. You gave me two things I never thought I'd have on the night where I lost many things. My Clanmates, my deputy, my friends-all gone. But me, as deputy? Me, having a mate-someone who loves me back?
I almost feel as if I have no business feeling as happy as I do right now.
Oh, but dear StarClan, how HAPPY I FEEL! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Rather than scream my feelings in such a manner as I was doing in my head, I forced myself to not faint (as best I could) and purred a very rocky yet very enthusiastic purr.]

"Great StarClan, Whisperblade," I sighed happily, resting my chin on his head, "That's taken so much burden off of me! I thought it would be a Hawkblaze repeat. That it wasn't...and everything was...but it's not, and I'm so happy.
So very, very happy!"

[I snuggled against him, probably crushing him, and my purr reverberated into the ground.

All I could think was, simply put:

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY, LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY, HAPPY HAPPY HAPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!

StormClan didn't have very many kittens and elders- well, actually, neither did any of the other Clans; the entire group of them was merely a pawful ((handful?))- but the few that were there began to purr. I didn't care if anyone saw us. Who could care at a moment like this?]

(( There actually really was barely any elders/kittens in the Clans. :T
Series 2, however, will start with the baby boom of their lives xD ))

Mistake me for love long lost, remind me of a love once found

perhaps you will find your eternity shattered in one bound.

[The loner, no, Stormclan warrior's heart began to glow. He had never felt it like quite like this before, fluttering free like a bird, as if he had found the way out of his cage. Only once before had he felt love, but now, he know what if felt like to have it be pure on both sides. He was so focused upon her that he even forgot about the intense pain in his mangled leg.]

"I promise you that i will never leave your side, we both have had our heartbreaks before, but i can assure you, i love you my way, and im sure you love me the same..."

[Closing his eyes the image of a black she cat with golden eyes looked upon him, staring as she turned and walked away, out of his mind. He did not chance after her this time however, instead he turned the other way, and smiled as he looked into Thunderflight's blue eyes, pure and deep.]

"I am glad you are happy, I will do what i can to make sure you feel this way more often. I love the way you smile."

"It takes courage,
To grow up and become who you really are"

((A Long time coming, but it is finally over 8D ))

[Shiftstar was among the cats whom helped push Anarchy toward the edge of the lake. She had seen the advantage but refused to point it out as it would have given the jaguar warning and time to react. The final step was taken and Shiftstar threw herself at the slayer, splashing into the water with her. Though the liquid was no match for the she-cat, she easily broke the surface and swam to the shore. She was soaked through and through and her muscles ached from the strain, but she was alive and Anarchy was dead.

The leader looked around at the wounded and dead. The clans had suffered many deaths. It would take time to rebuild numbers and strength. Time that they now had seeing as the threat was now gone. Finally it was over. Her eyes landed on a familiar pelt. Dragonfire was laying in a bush, taking in everything around her. Shiftstar was relieved that her deputy was safe. Padding up to her she sat, ignoring the call for the leaders for the moment.]

"Dragonfire, I know you are tired and sore, but I need one last bout of energy. Please ensure the safety of the elders and kits." she requested, "After I speak to Galestar, Silverstar, and Lavenderstar we can gather the dead and go home."

[Shiftstar stood, brushing her tail on the deputy's shoulder and bounded to the other leaders. Hearing the proposition she nodded in approval.]

"I agree with Galestar, a three moon truce would be much appreciated."

[Frostclaw allowed her body to go slack at the news of Anarchy. The danger had passed. Thank StarClan. Her mate wouldn't need to fight again and neither would she. She chuckled at the Galestar's remark.

"You would have lost much more than an ear." she said, hearing the call for the leaders she nodded toward the cause of the sound, "Go. I'll be waiting."

[Frostclaw watched him disappear through the bushes and she lowered her head to her paws. It was time to rest. Closing her eye she wuickly dozed off for the remainder of their time at the Gathering.]

[Rabbitpaw scowled as Guardianvow snatched Silentpaw away from him and paddled back toward the island. He shook slightly, growling. He had risked his life for some stupid she-cat, and all he got was some stupid 'thank you'? He hissed slightly, still clinging to Anarchy with a deathgrip. He took in a huge breath before launching himself back across the water that separated him from the island.

After a few moments had dragged on, he finally made it back to the island. He let out an annoyed sigh, trying to clamber his way up the side. A set of jaws caught his scruff, heaving him up the side of the island. He was dropped, landing on the ground below with a dull thud. He hissed slightly, looking up at the black and white tom that had helped him he growled.]
"You could be a little nicer, ya great big brute!"
[he hissed at Swansong, his fur fluffing up in anger. Swansong snorted lightly, padding away from the moody medicine cat apprentice.]

L A V E N D E R S T A R

[Lavenderstar looked up quickly when she heard a voice calling her name. She nodded slightly to Foxfur, smiling weakly.]
"Foxfur, there are no 'winners' in war, for we all lose something; but yes, we will be elaving shortly,
[she murmured, her head hanging low for a moment. She glanced around the clearing again. The feeling of dread and horror, and the stench of blood and fear still remained and vacated bodies still littered the Clearing. Her eyes went from one to another, sadly taking note of her own Cats who had lost their lives that night. She bowed her head slightly before looking back up to the sky.]
"May StarClan guide you home, friends,"
[she prayed quietly.

Lavenderstar looked down as she was aware of another presence. Guardianvow was hunched over Silentpaw, cleaning her gently. She blinked in surprise. Water had made the she-cat's fur matted and stick up at odd angles. She hissed, bending down to lick the she-cat's head.]
"Dear StarClan Silentpaw, how did you end up in the lake?!"
[she demanded with worry only a mother could possess in her voice. She froze at that thought. Speaking of which....where was Puresun?!

When Galestar spoke, her head snapped up. She blinked pursing her lips as she tried to quickly think of the answer. She coughed slightly, half-heartedly dipping her head to the BreezeClan leader.]
"As long as you three remember that there are and will always be four Clans in the forest. Don't take advantage of this truce to alter that,"
[she meowed distractedly, glancing around the clearing once more searching for her daughter's calico pelt.]

C I N D E R S T R E A K A N D N I G H T

[Night shook himself tiredly as the commotion began to die down. He stood up, wincing as he began to walk toward Silverstar and Thunderflight. He hurt everywhere, it seemed. He froze as he came within hearing-distance of the two. His eyes widened slightly. Deputy? Thunderflight? He pursed his lips for a moment. After a moment, he couldn't help but to sigh reluctantly. Whatever, it could have been worse, he thought tiredly. He padded forward, taking a spot next to the StormClan leader, his tail twitching slightly as he waited for further orders.

A black pelt and a red fluttery thing caught the warrior's eyes. As he realised who was sitting next to Thunderflight, he scowled. Him. Why was he back?! He snarled slightly, his claws sinking into the ground below for a few moments. A stupid kittypet had been fighting among them? Simply outrageous!]

((lol at Cinderstreak XD "You!!!" "Herro there~" :3 ))

[The Seaclan warrior's vision blurred in and out as she stared down at her red paws. The stains would take a long while to get out, nothing she was not used to though. A figure approached her slowly, muttering her name She shot her head up, eyes wide and at attention as she stared at the cat before her.]

"Oh, its you mate. Though you were... Yeah I can do that no problem!! Im not tired anyway, im just... so yeahhh i will get started on that now, checking on the elders and kits and stuff like that."

[She said with a grin as she pulled herself up, not wanting to show any weakness in front of her leader. She had to say that she was impressed with Shiftesrtar, she had proven herself to be a worthy fighter against the Star slayers, instead of cowering away like she worried she might. Once Shiftstar's back was turned she began to wobble and sway, leaning up against trees and rocks whenever she had the chance. Often she would sit for short periods of time. Calling out to the elders and kits to gather together she counted them, seeing who was still here and who was not. It had looked like they had succeeded in keeping a good amount of them safe.]

[I sighed, glancing around. Silverstar was right; many still needed help. I helped any injured warriors towards the nearest medicine cat. If we were under a truce, it should be seen that anyone should be treated equally.
I felt a bit guilty that I wasn't as injured as others. In fact, I had hardly sustained any injuries! It wasn't because I was too coward to fight; I just wasn't interested in a battle of which I would be crushed by a swarm of Clan cats before I reached the actual enemy because of my short height.
Besides, I had been pretty busy escorting the injured off the battlefield. Waves of injured seemed to roll out of the mayhem, and many of them just flung themselves back into battle!
I turned to notice my mother looking around the crowd anxiously from where the leaders were. I sighed. Would she be disappointed that I hadn't fought?
I felt as if I had nothing to show to my Clan. Though I had almost always been the one to dive in and grab one of my injured Clanmates and most of em would probably remember that, I felt like some would see the fact that I hadn't fought as more important than the fact that I had helped as best I could.
I shrugged to myself. I DID do the best I could. I felt courage fill my heart. Nobody could declare that I had sat on my but- I had worked hard to rescue those in peril and I'd probably saved some lives!
Maybe being medicine cat wasn't all that bad.
Except for the no mates thing...

An image of Forsaken flashed in my mind and I turned, peering over the crowd of cats into the shadows.

This would be a feast for ya, wouldn't it, Forsaken? I thought a bit cheerfully. So much spilled blood for you to swallow. You might become as fat as me! Then again, my clanmates' blood is on that field too. It irks me, just a bit...]
