"Order" is such a misleading word. For us, it usually means PIZZA PARTY WOOHOO!

The biting shock bit into his flesh as he realized that he fell for her trap. It seemed like a novice move to make, and the price he paid made it seem as if he were unstable. or so It would have seemed to any onlooker.

A grin swept across his face as he push off her chest, sparks flying between them as her parted. "Hah, good, however, I got you now" He almost laughed as the sparks only seemed to grow and surround her. Squeezing against her body tightly. his hands arched as he regained his footing.

I met a lady in the meads
Full beautiful, a faery's child;
Her hair was long, her foot was light,
And her eyes were wild.

-------------

"AAAAHHHH!" she screamed, clutching her heart dramatically as the electricity danced threateningly around her and the smug man took a step back, his first magic dissipated. "Nooooooooo, the pain! The torture...! How powerful you are!"

Another few seconds passed as she clutched herself and writhed... then her eyes rolled back from in the sockets and fixed themselves teasingly on the man. Beneath the ribbons of lightning, her body was alive with golden light. The electricity, reflected off her skin, wasn't touching her.

"Just kidding."

She reached into her robes and drew out a golden-handled broadsword, its bright, white blade rippling with the same golden light. A few seconds passed as Cressa seemed to weigh the familiar weapon in her hand. Then, she leapt forward, and struck.

I saw pale kings, and princes too,
Pale warriors, death-pale were they all;
Who cry'd--"La belle Dame sans merci
Hath thee in thrall!"

And this is why I sojourn here
Alone and palely loitering,
Though the sedge is wither'd from the lake,
And no birds sing.

(( Lemme just explain this - thunder crash's primary point is to immobilise the person, not attack them, so it isn't an offensive skill. However, it does this by inflicting pain upon the user whenever they move via the use of magic. As Cressa's Vengeance is meant to reflect an attack back at its caster, and techncially there is no attack to reflect, Panda is unharmed. However, as it still protects her, she is unharmed also. Until it wears off next turn, that is. Lol. ))

((if your boobs weren't so big this wouldn't be a problem!))

Panda was shocked to see the woman still move under his spell. She had to be truly powerful to be able to keep her own magic up for such a thing. He barely noticed her charge him, sword drawn and aiming for his chest. With no time to utter a spell to stop her, he attempted to dodge...with limited success. The blade narrowly missed stabbing his chest, but sunk in as it slide across his ribs and off to the side. He'd live, but only if he'd get attention soon. His robe was in ribbons now though as blood seeped across it.

"Damn you wench" he muttered, breathing deeply. staggering forwards into his potion cabinet, casing most of them to fall and shatter around them both.

"Clumsy, clumsy," she muttered, hearing the clink of bottles on the floor. She turned slowly to face the gravely injured man, white steel sluiced with his blood. As she tried to smirk, however, her expression caught and twisted. Her vision span and blurred into a mess of light, making her head suddenly throb with pain. God damn it.

If she could sweat, droplets would have broken out on her forehead. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, forcing more magic to her crown. When she opened her eyes again, she could see as perfectly as a human once more.

Suddenly, she could feel power draining from her skin-tight shield. Hissing, she quickly threw up a Mantle to keep the still-dancing electricity off her. Her sword remained in her hand, albeit limply.

[Spell Mantle]

- A forcefield that absorbs all magical damage for four turns.

(( Panda has no combat moves, so he was never going to be able to defend against her if she pulled out her sword. I guess MMO mechanics apply in our roleplay - Healers and Nukers at the back!! XD

He could easily fight Lorika or another spellcaster physically, with hsi transfigured claws as his weapon, but it wouldnt work against a trained combatant. ))

Panda's breathing remained heavy as he noticed her falter as well. He knew they were both tired, but he couldn't afford to take any more gambles. focusing heavily on one of the broken bottles, he stood up straight and took a deep breath.
"what's the matter having trouble?" he tried to say smugly, but ended up coughing. Wasting no more time, he brought his hands together once more, leaving his wound to bleed. A light shown from his body, and his brow started to sweat, but soon his spell was complete, and his body continued to glow with a faint outline.

Cressa breathed deeply, her fist tightening around the handle of her blade.

She took a step forward - but swayed. With a short cry, she was forced to bring the sword forward to save herself as she collapsed to her knees. All at once, the alcohol, the nausea, the light all caught up to her. Her breath shuddered and she heaved. Nothing, however, came up.

"Uuuhhh..." she groaned, taking a deep breath and tightening her hold on her support. She tried to pull herself to her feet, head turning blindly towards where she knew the door was, but failed. Right now, it was all she could do to keep her shield up. The cage had finally dissipated, but she knew that if she dropped it and he attacked her it was all over. She knew this for a moment, before her mind began to swim. "My eyes..."

As his own energy dwindled to close to nothing he saw her fall to her knees and struggle. Any other time and he would have seized the moment to strike then and there. However, she had a shield up and he was sure his energy was lower then her magic right now. He'd surely kill himself if he tried a head on attack. He stumbled yet again before he heard her mutter something. It gave him a great idea. In fact, the only one he thought would work right now.
"W-what was that you said? I-is there something bothering you?" He breathed and laughed very feebly. He HAD done some research about the drow, even if it had been very little and mainly about their past and their habitat. His idea was a complete gamble knowing jessie, but something was off with her right now. Gripping the side of the table, He raised one hand up and from it an extremely bright light illuminated from between his fingers. the light itself almost rivaled the sun.

The scream that left the woman's lips was real this time, as an incomprehensible pain ripped through her skull. Oh Mother, it hurt! It hurt like a thousand knives all hurtling into her brain at once, like an iron maiden reserved solely for her head. All she'd seen was a mess of different lights before - now all she could see was a burning whiteness, which soon faded to a darkness so absolute it terrified her. She'd never seen darkness in such a way before. She'd never SEEN darkness at all! Her mind, already fuddled, fell apart at the seams. She could no longer feel the wizard's aura. She could no longer feel anything. For the first time in years, her connection with Jessie seemed to sever, overridden by her own agony, leaving her alone - so horribly alone, without the comforting presence of his presence taking up a part of her. The only thing she knew was her own beating heart, the shield around her own skin, and the awful, frightening blackness. Even her own limbs felt like they'd suddenly lost their existence when she ceased to be able to see them.

"What have you done?!" she shrieked, hands feeling around her face frantically, waving in front of her unseeing orbs. "I'm blind!"

She felt back out for her sword, but couldn't find it. When she did, she managed to cut her hand on the blade. Screaming again, her panic increased tenfold as she held the bleeding palm in her other hand, unable to tell how much damage had been done. "You... you..."

"You'll pay for this!"

Cressa staggered to her feet like a banshee - her long hair fanned out behind her as, fuelled by adrenalin, she managed to reach out and pull some more magic. Her hands were in front of her now, like a guide, as if she were literally pulling it out of the air. This time, though, to conserve her own strength, she saved channelling it through her own body. Instead, she jerked it where it lay. Like flicking a match, fire sprang where she willed it, every burst enhanced by the natural concentration of magic in the room.

"Where are you, you ********> she screeched, still waving her arms around in front like a kind of black-winged harpy. "I'll find you, and I'll burn you!"

after his own spell had concluded, he fell to a knee and clutched at his chest. He watched as she began to frantically scurry around and hurt herself, but his head buzzed from the lack of energy he had. After a minute though, he began to realize that she was actually throwing fire around the room. Frantically he stood up, his own shield starting to waver.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" He said frantically trying to drag himself closer to her to stop her.

"ARE YOU INSANE?! THE POTIONS ARE-"...
